  1. ... which reps would you want in the game? How would they play?
  2. No point gaslighting without an audience to witness it. Maybe they should've tried getting a bigger audience first, however that can be achieved.
  3. For my original the card game that I am making for no apparent reason that will never see the light of day unless I feel like it, should I go for an "all waifu/bishoujo" route like WIXOSS or Sword Rondo, or should I do that "little bit of everything" route like Yu-Gi-Oh!, Buddyfight, Vanguard and everything and their mom?

was gonna say "all waifus" but cow makes a very compelling point

  4. What's wrong with the currently troodon path?
  5. I guess I'll propose two potential lines: 1. Nise Agumon Hakase/YukiAgumon -> Greymon (2010)/AshGreymon -> MetalGreymon (2010) -> ZekeGreymon I guess if you feel that it'd be awkward to have Greymon become MetalGreymon without any involvement from Mailbirdramon, you could have that as a partner who eventually Jogresses. Or you could forego that and run a default Shoutmon line that goes from Shoutmon -> Shoutmon (King Ver.) -> OmegaShoutmon and then jogresses with ZekeGreymon. Optional baby forms would just be the default Agumon ones - Botamon & Koromon. 2. Monitamon -> Hi-Vision Monitamon -> Etemon -> MetalEtemon or KingEtemon KingEtemon being MetalEtemon's Ultra is also a possibility. The logic was TV -> dude who fancies himself a TV star. Alternatively, in place of the monkey men, you could go for an "accumulated knowledge" motif with Wisemon -> Jijimon. If you want the optional baby forms, Monimon seems like the route to go.
  6. A decade? I guess that means your last series was either Xros Wars or Savers, is that right?
  7. Assuming you're using default lines, the Cargodramon that will eventually become Brigadramon would make for good transport. Granted, if I were to go that route I'd likely think of more permanent transport means. On the other hand, with Darkdramon and its Ultra it achieves via merging with its greatest foe, there is a story to be told via that, and I'd like to tell and see that story.
  8. Before that, what's the extent of your Digimon knowledge? Do you want to stick to Greymon as initially said or would you go for a different Champion? Good to accept. That does make me realize that I forgot something in hindsight, between our characters living in the same town or our characters living anyplace but having the means to access each others' areas (alongside the rest of the world) conveniently.
  9. Guess that's a sign for me to set it up. And review the available application when I finally get my butte on a computer. Speaking of characters, I have a Digimon line set up (Shoemon -> ShoeShoemon -> Chaperomon -> Cendrillmon), but I do not know what my Tamer should be, so I thought I'd ask the others here for a bit of input. Should my Tamer be: a. A creepy little girl who likes fairy tales b. A boy who eventually learns to metaphorically become a noble prince for his partner's Mega stage (since that's what Cendrillmon's database entry revolves around) c. Basically b but girl for that princely ikemen girl tomboy feel
  10. Uh... in the context of this RP, you play Greymon and Greymon's human partner. Of course, all player character Digimon partners start at Rookie, so you'll have to be something else before Greymon naturally. Curious to see what your complete line would be.
  11. It's in the name. You craft or acquire a role in a story and you play it out. I guess in this context and the context of other sites with roleplaying sections, you start with an OoC like this one. Sometimes the signups are in a seperate thread, but here, they're... well... here. You get the application and fill it out accordingly. Afterwards the GM judges to see if your character is to be accepted That is how you craft and acquire your role. When the In-Character Thread is posted, you're free to post there. Write it in like how you write any story, except, of course, you're limited to how your characters speak and interact with others. Best to have a good paragraph so that others have something to work with. Based on how you specifically asked this on a Digimon roleplay, I assume there's a certain Digimon partner you want your character to have?
  12. You know, I have this weird urge to make my own card game now. Not because I'm convinced people will play it, but because I feel like it.

  13. @Mr. Hyde @Wind Rider and anyone else that might catch fancy this thread I've done it. We're open for signups.
  14. Whatever replies this status might get, I'm just glad it will have absolutely nothing to do with Premier Casual Dating.

  15. U149's thing (alongside what the title implied) was grade schoolers and Rika's already in middle school, unfortunately. Still, it was nice seeing some of my favourites like Haru & Tachibana get some spotlight in animated form. SideM was always the one lagging behind among all the iM@S branches, which I find pretty weird because this era is the era of guydols like EnStars and the like. So I guess they're lagging behind in two areas? Kinda hoping for an S2 for SideM, or at least something to revive it. My mans Ryo only got a cameo.
  16. Well, I have been a fan of their stuff even before they un-italicized their logo. I'm an extremely heavy Cinderella Girls kinda guy in all the aspects though. If it's CG I wanna eat it. U149's my favourite anime of the franchise thus far. How 'bout you? Would you like to share you thoughts on what has passed and what is to come?
  17. Winter is the prese- holy smokes is it already March? I'll save the latter for the inevitable new thread, let's see the former.
  18. Come on, give me something good...
  19. There's a lot to discuss and no one to discuss it with. I originally wanted to make an individual thread for Sasaki & Peeps but eh, nevermind. What are YOU watching this fine season and what are you fancying?
  20. Back on the old Card Maker, in the early 2010s (or was it slightly before? Whatever.), I started doing these all-all crossovers which eventually lead to me making X-Over Academy, which was about characters from all over the multiverse being in school. There was also a reworked version where the Academy was a type of magic school and the characters from all over the cosmos were their familiars. Others too have done their wee takes after this. But now, I want to bring X-Over Academy back in its purest form - as a school where characters from all different kinds of series get together. Original characters are permitted - but only if you can prove that they are from a roleplay or even Fanfiction that has graced either this site or the old one. EDIT: Instead of just characters from YCM or NCM, I am now permitting characters used from different sites as well, be it another forum, fanficdotnet, AO3, etc., as long as you can prove that they exist and were made prior a good long while to your signups. I understand that Discord RPs or other Chatroom RPs are popular and you'd want to use characters from those, so uh, I'll think of something. If you're going to ask if characters like MMO avatars or the like are permitted since they might fall into the 'originales des character' territory - yes, yes they are. Instead of a vaguely defined centre of the Multiverse like prior, I'm thinking the roleplay's setting will be a bit of a set world - specifically a section of Kivotos from Blue Archive. Kivotos is a big Academy City, and a lot of stuff happens. The Academy is meant to skirt the line of being a secret and being known - so what better way than to hide a tree in a forest, especially if a lot of things happen in said forest that are more interesting than the tree you're hiding? Plus there's lots of good places around. What do you think? Do you have other places in mind? In prior versions of the RP, there were 'normal' subjects in addition to combat classes, and by extension teachers. How about this one? Should I have many classes (obviously excluding combat-based classes if need be) be replaced by online learning - seeing how in school RPs, characters don't really roleplay them out? Or should I just have teachers as per normal? If so, playable or NPC? This RP will have the occasional incident in school to make things interesting, festival for celebration or field trip if you feel that your current location is a bit boring.
  21. Anyone remember X-Over Academy on the old forum? I had a sudden urge of rebooting it in this one in addition to my existing RP.
