I now have all 3 Starters (Sprigatito and Fuecoco due to Surprise Trades) and 1 of the 4 new legendaries, the only one that I was spoiled on about what it looks like. It was a pain to catch, took 1 Quick Ball (just to see if it'd work), 25 Ultra Balls and 3 Timer Balls

I was doing surprise trades, trading away all my duplicate Pokémon... and I've gotten some epic trades... got one of the Violet exclusive Pokémon, got a Ditto (it's hard to find them in the wild), and I also got a level 1 Sprigatito

Walter Jones, Johnny Young Bosch, Karan Ashley, David Yost, and Austin St John have all made posts about JDF passing... it's still hard to think that part of my childhood and someone who made it awesome, is no longer here...

Caught my 2nd shiny (it was a Heracross) after failing my 1st one which was one of the new Pokémon, first time I had seen that Pokémon too and I misclicked and KILLED it!!

One more update before I try the electric gym again... beat the Water gym (thank you new regional bird!) caught some more rock & ground type mons, fixing to try this again!

I suffered my first loss in Pokémon Scarlet to the electric type gym leader... got to her non electric Mon that can terastallize into the electric type and got absolutely BODIED! So I gotta get my team up to level 35 and try again

I'm about 2 hours into Pokémon Scarlet. Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't seem like you can fail catches. I caught one of the new mons and it was at near full health. One evolution of the new mons so far, and I like the progression from base form to 2nd stage.

Judging from twitter and YouTube, I'm going to be playing the version of Pokémon that most ppl don't like and I'm picking the starter most don't like for my first playthrough of Gen 9... should be fun!

2 more days until we see the internet explode when ScarVio isn't what people expected... I'm just curious myself to see them tackle 3 stories at once, should be fun to experience 

Once Scarlet & Violet officially drop and we get an official count of the Paldean forms, how would a Pokémon original vs regional form tournament sound? It would include Paldean, Hisuian, Alolan, and Galarian forms and put them up against their original forms 

Angela Bassett at the very least deserves an Oscar nomination for her role as Queen Ramonda in Wakanda Forever, she was absolutely amazing in that movie!

For anyone that's going to be playing Scarlet & Violet, based on what is officially known to fans... which starter are you all picking in your first playthrough? I'm going Quaxly, simply due to the fact I picked Grookey in SwSh and Cyndaquil in PLA. Figured I'd give the water starter love

Just under a week until Scar/Vio drops, and I'm honestly pretty excited. I love that Pokémon has only shown us base forms (except one evo) of the new Pokémon in the games. I wonder if any of the new mons that evolve have any special ways they evolve, other than the way Gimmigoul is rumored to evolve.

I've come to realize something... Pokémon gives every generation of starters Torrent, Blaze and Overgrow as their abilities... it'd be nice if they changed up the abilities the starters get...

The terastal mechanic in ScarVio is going to be interesting to see with shiny hunters, especially those who like certain types of Pokémon (like aDrive with bugs). Shiny hunting got even harder I think with the terastal mechanic 

The final trailer for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet only revealed one new thing... although the Dragon type Terastal "hat" looks amazing too !

I beat the story of Gotham Knights last night, it was very well done, and I like that there's dialogue changes depending on which character you play as. Warner Bros Montreal didn't have to do that, but I'm glad they did.

A friend of mine is a Digimon fan but up until recently hasn't watch Adventure tri and last night he watched Last Evolution Kizuna for the first time... he messaged me after he finished LEK "fuck you man" the said it was one of the best movies he'd ever seen

I have a fun idea for a possible tournament, but unfortunately with my work schedule... If I were to do it, I'd only be able to post polls once a week. I imagine I'd be able to make it work, but I'd hate for it to suffer due to my work schedule 

My ticket for Black Panther Wakanda Forever has been bought! I'll be seeing it opening weekend 

I put in like 4-5 hours on Gotham Knights yesterday, I found myself playing more as Robin than any of the other 4. I like where the story is going so far, can't wait to play more of it

Obviously I'm excited for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet... I cannot WAIT to see Greavard's, Fidough's and Lechonk's shinies though
