Got all my 'mons caught. Couldn't find any Drifloon in the underground so I gave up and just caught a Ponyta. Nickname's are all based on prehistoric creatures. Eury is from the Eurypterids (or Sea Scorpions), Chasm from Chasmosaurus, Mega from Megatherium, Ankylo from Ankylosaurus, Chal from Chalicotherium, and Haikou from Haikouichthys. Next step is get enough Berries to get Haikou to evolve.

Game has now been beaten, and Eury was the MVP in the Cynthia fight. Ankylo was my main anti-Barry 'mon as he could tank Staraptor well enough I could just set up all 6 Curses then sweep. Chasm didn't do much, outside of occasionally setting up Stealth Rock, as I deleted Metal Burst as his Naive nature was actually helping out speed most of the stuff Galactic Grunts the the time and then forget to get it back until after I entered the fight with Aaron. Mega had his big moment against Mars and Jupiter on Spear Pillar. Haikou was great againt Bertha and Flint. And finally there is Chal, who honestly was the worst performer as Eury was just better in every stat bar Sp.Atk and after getting the Razor Claw was guaranteed a Sniper crit. Ended the game with 9 Pokémon + the Manaphy and Riolu eggs. I need to play more Pokémon games without falling back on 'mons I've used before, cause that was kinda fun.

I mainly use Eirika, Priscilla and L!Azura + Bonus Unit for TT. Duo Micaiah is now mainly here for picking off strong blue cavalry and armours which can damage Eirika a lot even after Repel.

I always had to deal with Surtr with a general red unit, usually Lilina or Eirika + Dancer. Didn't get a good anti-armour unit until after he was removed from the random unit pool.

How'd your hunt go? (If you tried yet) I got Ingrid with 30 orbs left. +Res -HP but still pretty happy.

Managed to get a +Hp/-Res Duo Byleth on my second summoning circle using the orbs from the Paralogues, who is going to replace Aversa on my Flier team. Still no Ingrid, but there's still the Tempest Trail orbs to get.

Pulled colourless on the Anniversary Banner to try and get a merge for either Summer Freyja or Harmonized Leif, and got a -Spd Lyre which kinda sucks. But thankfully I do have a +spd 4* copy I could always merge her into, or just use as Atk/Spd Catch fodder if I ever pull a Farina I can use for Atk/Spd Catch 4 and Atk/Def Rein.

I got Pirate Hinoka myself, pretty happy about that

Having a +10 healer is really helpful. Maria was my second +10 and she's helped out a lot.

Maria is probably going to be my second +10 healer, unless I end up pulling 11 Lachesis or Sakura before I get 5 more Marias. In the meantime I've got Minierva and Eliwood to merge up.

Ended up wiping to Nessa. Killed the Pelipper a turn early, so my boosted Butterfree had to deal with a Tailwind boosted Barraskewda, and was outsped. Then hoped Durant would outspeed after the Tailwind ended, but nope and then got one-shot. Leaving a weakened Scolipede, Golisopod and Orbeetle. Scolipede then died to a crit Drill Run. Golisopod managed to get back to full from Leech Life against most of Nessa's team, but then Drednaw comes in and while Golisopod can survive a Max Rockfall, it triggers Emergency Exit.

Losing my Vikavolt in the prior Bede fight screwed me over. Also forgetting to replace Light Screen with Reflect on Orbeetle.

Oh ouch I totally forgot about Drednaw that's a tough one.

Being an actual dancer would be better for Marianne, as Isolation is limited in the units it is on, and is only seen in AR, where you are likely going to see things like Pulse skills and Special/Crafty Fighter anyway. The skill is also useless in Resonant Battles due to proccing after combat. Wings of Mercy strats could be fun, but even with 70% damage reduction, 17 base Def isn't great.

Both 2nd place picks are my preferred units, as while Gatekeeper seems nice with his super obstruct B-skill, Martha Falchion is can be really stacked. He has good synergy with Fae as she can both counter his blue weakness and provide +5 spectrum buff to everyone.

While Eirika just has nearly everything a melee cav could want. Null Guard, player phase Null Follow-Up, Canto and a Slaying effect. If the healing effect was done on hit as opposed to Special procs it would be better as then Galeforce would be better.

I feel the others are gonna seem better off the bat but people will figure out ways to make Marianne much better

Agreed that Marianne would probably have been better of as a regular dancer. Her special can actually trigger in resonant battles, but that requires the foe to survive… which isn't ideal. But it bypasses the penalty/restriction of bringing multiple dancers for modes like resonant battles and grand conquest. Could maybe also be annoying in pawns of Loki. 

As for healing on hit with "Galeforce": it sounds a bit like a double-edged sword to me. On one hand you have a better chance of surving the next(/current?) combat. But on the other hand it makes it harder to remain below the HP threshold for "Wings of Mercy", and thus make it harder to sweep the enemy team.

Hopefully, is reminding me a bit of school as I use to go straight to sleep or such after getting home. The moment I don't really have to think about stuff and can just sit back listening to music the tiredness just catches up. Not being a morning person and having to wake up early also doesn't help, especially since my body will pretty much always wake up a couple of hours before any alarm I set will go off.

Flora and Fuga are going to be the interesting ones. Flora due to being obtained after chapter 22 and only having a few story maps left to get the S-support., and Fuga for his great base stats but terrible growths. 

I would like to get a Shinon or Jill for fodder, so I'll probably do the 40 pulls and pick up a Jill at the end.

It hurts to hear them being used as fodder lol

If they have decent IVs then I'll be keeping them, plus the free Jill, but I really want to a spare one so Minierva or Dancer Lachesis can get Spd/Def Rein.

19th and 20th merge projects are now done. Half of which are red units, split nicely 50/50 swords and mages. Petrine is done apart from the last merge which I'll get when she reruns, so time to start merging up Ninja Hana.

Still a bit more ideal since Espeon still has a higher Atk stat. Though doing a run through with the X Items shows that I get beat by his Cranidos as it outspeeds so I need to grind anyway.

Technically, you could grind to 29 for Bite and then evolve into Umbreon. Either way, Umbreon has better bulk than Espeon, so, if you only have Normal moves available to you, Umbreon would stand a better chance against Roark.

Managed to beat Roark in the match right after it evolved at level 17. The main point was not being slower than Cranidos, which the evolution helped with. I also focused on getting Espeon as it has a Rash nature which would dig into Umbreon's bulk. Though depending on what the natures of the 4 Eevees I'm waiting to hatch are I'll probably get one.

Got a fallen male Corrin, Bernadette, brave Dimitri and brave Claude (40 summon free pick). Already have enough Armored axe units (though not as mobile as brave Edelgard) and fallen Julia, so the niches of the remaining units' niches have been already been fulfilled. So I think I'll leave it at that, waiting for some of focus unit to decide on my free pick.

I wasn't particularly looking for B!Edelgard since I have her Legendary version, since I'm not that fond of Armour units. But after using her and knowing that she plays more as an Infantry I like her, would be better if we could get a Svalinn Shield sacred seal. Not really interested in Lysithea since I have her original version, and a +10 Lilina and +4 Fallen Julia as powerful red mages already, so probably going to stop after doing the first 40 summons and picking up another Edelgard to get rid of the Speed Super Bane for Arena scoring.

So far have done 20 summons. Didn't get any of them yet but I did get a bad nature Tsubasa randomly.

All I'm really waiting for is the rerun of the Dark Burdens banner so I can try and snag the last 3 copies for F!Julia so she can be ready to be my 20th +10. I do need to stop focusing on building red units as they currently make up just under half of my 5*+10s.

Okay, decided to save state it and Wurmple replaces Chimchar, and Chikorita replaces Piplup. Picking either Wrumple or Chikorita means my rival will have a Turtwig, but either of those options are fine. Having a physically frail pokemon early would be a pain so Happiny is out of the question.

Dang not very great options. Wurmple sounds funny as a starter since it evolves so fast though.

My Wrumple is a Rash nature with Sacred Fire, Rock Tomb, X-Scissor, and Bug Bite. So, the beginning rival fight was remarkably easy. Not looking forward to the later battles because it is a Drayano hack. But since you get an Eevee near the beginning, and the Kanto starters and a random Baby egg in Jublife everything should be fine.

Currently have 11 units at 5 star +10 myself, with  "Saleh: Vernal sage" being the most recent addition. But I'm close to twelve; "Innes: Frelian moonlight" requires just 1 more merge, so he should be finished next month.

My other projects are currently stuck due to a lack of copies (the closest to completion is "Knoll: Darkness watcher", who sits at +7). 

Built Lena as I wanted another +10 healer so it was either her or Maria since both were +1 and I had enough saved in Manuals to get them to +10. And of the two I had already given Lena Warthful Staff so it would've been easier than trying to get more Wrathful/Dazzling Stafff fodder for Maria.

And with a using a couple of Stamina pots, I now have Saleh at +10.

Now to pick 2 new merge projects.

I recently began an Engage run too though its only my second so no restrictions. Eventually wanting to do 3 so I can use every character.

This is only going to be my third run of the game. Decided to do a limited run where I don't actually choose the units myself cause otherwise I'm just going to go back to using Framme, Chloe, the Royals and probably Zelestia again. Which is also partially the reason I set the limit to 9 units besides Alear since the deploy limit is 12 for most maps, before rising to 14 for the last couple. Did spin Alfred, Hortensia and Lapis on the wheel, so I have some I've used before. But, after chapter 5, Louis was useful and I can see why he is used.

Ah that makes sense. Yeah I used Louis first run and he was so helpful it was surprising how much so. Especially early on.

Lucky! I have no orbs but I really want Lachesis.

After using her in Tempest Trails, and managing to get a +Spd 4* Copy, she is remarkably fun. Haven't bothered to use her as a dancer since L!Azura does that job better. Can't double units like Larcei and Maeeta the same way L!Julia can thanks to Light and Dark and ranged fliers get the short stick when it comes to B-slots.

I love the units that are good units and also happen to be able to dance.

Took about 30 hours. Was only on Normal which made it quicker. Have started a new playthrough with similar restrictions for my first Hard playthrough and my options are much worse for the early game. Finishing chapter 6 and I have 4 units. Alear, Eite, Celine, and Yunaka. I don't get anymore until chapter 11 where I do get 2 in Kagetsu and Zelkov. Then chapter 12, 13 and 15 all get me a unit in Fogado, Timerra, and Rosado. Then it is 6 chapter break for my final unit Mauvier. Just need to get the Master Seal from then Anna mission then I can promote Alear so I can at least have an easier time getting the Tiki Emblem for Starsphere.

Gonna have to dodge tank a lot I see

Grinded out the Oboro one, in 3 hours 37 minutes game time, and units with a good balance of stat growths are very nice. Next one on the list will probably be Camilla since that is probably going to be the easiest between her, Selena, and Beruka.

The Reina run was already mostly done, since I had done up to chapter 21 a few days ago and then took a break for a few days so it didn't take that long to finish. Would never try and do 2 runs in the same day as I can only do chapter 9 so many times before I get annoyed.

Oh oh I forgot, I finished my +10 Ashnard (he needs Distant Counter still).

Debating next Felicia...though I kinda want to +10 Ena when I get a chance.

Have been thinking of building Ashnard so I'd have a flier tank for each colour (Myrrh/Minierva for Green and Catria/Dancer Eldigan for Blue). But I've got Petrine setup for my next grail project after I get the final merge for Minierva.

Kinda funny going for Petrine instead of Ashnard. So far Ashnard has been pretty great and I imagine with Distant Counter he's gonna be amazing.

Need to rush out info before season 2 of Superstar airs in July. Would've liked to see more of just the original 5 members, but at the same time I don't really have a favourite of the bunch. Plus after reading the translations, Shiki is definitely best girl.

Honestly I really liked the 5 but hopefully next season isn't mostly just intro'ing the newbies.
