    Mom Hospitalized

I’m going to be doing an update after I talk to her each day... As to let everyone know what going on. I won’t spam the thread with that, but it’s on the donation page, so... again, any sort of support is appreciated...

    Mom Hospitalized

My mother hasn’t been doing very well lately, and she was hospitalized yesterday. The doctors aren’t sure she’s going to survive, but she’s on the other side of the USA from me... so I’m asking for help here. Whether it’s a donation or a share, any support is appreciated... I just don’t want her to die alone. My sister hasn’t spoken to her in years, and the rest of our family is abusive, at best. I just don’t want her to be alone right now, with death knocking at the door... https://www.gofundme.com/f/visit-hospitalized-mother?utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=customer&utm_campaign=p_na+share-sheet&rcid=1dfffc181ec64340b3edd88bb78b53c1 Thank you for any help you can spare. She doesn’t know about NCM (I think) or identity or anything, but I love her to bits, and I want to show her how much I appreciate her and love her...

  6. Today is the 5th anniversary of UNDERTALE. In and of itself, it's a nice thing to look back on and enjoy, but... For me, it's a bit more than that. There will be some spoilers for the game in here, but I'll try to minimize it. I ended up seeing it for the first time later in September than its release. I'd never heard of it. Knew nothing about it. I just saw the, then married, couple of RubberRoss and Commander Holly playing it on YouTube... and I thought it looked neat. I had never heard of a game where you could choose not to kill anyone, much less an RPG that did so, and I enjoyed how heartfelt and humorous it was. So, while I couldn't afford it, an old friend ended up buying it for me around October 10th. She saw how much I wanted it, and decided to give me that opportunity. And I am... very grateful for that, to this day. Life was really rough for me back then. Moved in with manipulative grandparents, had relationship issues for that entire year, had some even worse issues related to said relationship issues, a bad attitude that I had for years (out of fear of being hurt again, but that's not excuse), and general depression. Especially since the move cut my privacy down even lower than the previous "not much". Had some stuff stolen when we moved, had a lot of stress, no prospects... 2015 was one of the worst years of my life. At least, I felt like it was by September. I started UNDERTALE soon after I was gifted it. The 2015 Halloween Event, which ultimately culminated in Weirdmageddon, was going on/soon to start, and I got through the game on a day I spent sick as a dog. Beat it in 5 hours, other than the "final boss" of Neutral, Asgore. Cause I, uh... kinda sold my equipment. I was aiming for pacifist, why did I need it? Oops. I then got back there in 4~ hours, and finished the Pacifist Route within 11 total hours of play time. That was my entire day... But I loved it. I even intended to play Genocide, until a certain action happened... And I spent the night that was left listening to the OST. I watched a Genocide highlight reel and got mocked by the game, which was oof... But I felt genuine love for the game. And something began to move in me. The characters felt alive. It spoke to me on another level. A few days later, my relationship with Bree ended. I was in tatters, of course. She was the only thing that made me feel like I wasn't a total failure. Like I could be loved. Like I wasn't a monster. I just... had nothing left in me. I was empty. I made a post about it on the old site, but I just... tried to focus on Halloween (Baalmon/Beelzebumon was meh, but it was fun as me), enjoying the monster duels and such... and I still made sure Bree played UNDERTALE. She used Family Sharing on Steam to play it, and I watched her do it the whole time. I feel bad I told her about the pacifist route... But it really did help us stay close. I learned later that she looked at Asgore as me, and it... did help, I think. A lot. But what UNDERTALE did was, despite the pain I was going through... It taught me that it was okay to open up. to not be as scared. Bree saw me as Asgore, but I saw myself as Flowey. It just seemed natural to spare him in the neutral route, and the rest of the game... Made me empathize with him even more. He was someone I saw myself in. Someone I could relate to. Someone I wanted to heal. Someone I was sad I couldn't do more for... Halloween was a big deal, too. Thanks to the deck I had come to love (Performapal), the Monster Duels, and @(✧△✧)'s efforts as Bill Cipher in said duels/the event as a whole, the part of me that loved to entertain people, make people smile... really got to come to the surface. For the first time, a part of me I hadn't explored got to come out, and after some grandstanding as my monster, I got to be the one to wrap Weirdmageddon up. And it was... nice. I felt connected to the community for the first time in years. Like I had a place. Like... I could start moving again. With Halloween passing, I began to actively apply to jobs for the first time. Tried to focus on improving myself. There were some major bumps, especially later October and November... plus I never heard from a job before April... But I began to move forward. I began to take steps. My time was no longer stopped. My starting line was there. By my 23rd Birthday, Bree and I were back together. But we also had a third! Her name was Melly, and while it took some adjusting... I loved her with all my heart. Soon after that, I got a call back for my first job. I accepted it wholeheartedly and got to work. After a while, I made it up to management. As the training was going, I got my license, and I began to drive. Home life got worse, overall, but I was making strides. I came to terms with my identity. Who I am. Blake, rather than Josh. Stuff like that. My ideals are evolving. Refining. Crystallizing. I'm learning to accept who I am and what they are, and how to use them. How to spread them. I bought my first car... and then moved to Idaho, with Melly. And then move to Washington with her, where we are now. While it wasn't the sole factor in things changing, UNDERTALE was my starting line. It even woke up the part of me in love with fiction to the degree I am, allowing it to shine, much like my love for entertaining... Or my buried emotions. UNDERTALE was more than just a game for me. It was a beautiful song that told me I didn't need to fear. That forgiving was okay. That moving forward was good. That... the child inside of me was always right. The ideals I had forsaken could return. So while 2015 was largely bad... It... ended up being pivotal for me. It's been five years. I don't feel like I've gotten very far, sometimes... But I've come a long, long ways. And I'll make it there. I hope I, too, can make something like this for those who come after. I have so many people to thank, and I can't even put it into words... But to those who read this, who have had that impact on me, who have been by my side... Thank you. And to those who won't read this, I hope that this sentiment reaches you. That's all. I just wanted to say my piece for today... Because it's the anniversary of my favorite game. Favorite song. Starting line. Many, many things. And I am so grateful for the existence of UNDERTALE... Here's hoping Deltarune continues development smoothly. Happy Birthday, UNDERTALE.
  7. The week was nice for Diana. Sure, she had no one to go home to, but school was fun. No one seemed to really care about her eye, and most of the class seemed pleasant. There was a weird feeling someone was staring at her sometimes, but she wrote it off as her paranoia. All that said, the beach trip was not something she was looking forward to. Stupid sand. Stupid salt water. Stupid exposed skin. She got the slip signed so she could hang out with the class, but what could she even do? Cause she sure wasn't going to swim. As she got onto the bus, she saw Takehiko waving her down, beckoning for her to sit with him. "[Hey], what's up?" "I understand if you're uncomfortable sitting with me, but I may require your aid in ascertaining the location of an individual who I shall refer to as an 'undesirable' in relation to this trip. He is a good man but mislead in the fact he asked me to attain photos of my own classmates and as such I believe is deserving of a light-hearted prank. I decided you'd be the best to talk to since you might be the most... well there's no polite way to say this, but, uncomfortable with your body?" "...[Aaaaand] you need me why?". "Because I need help keeping an eye out in case the idiot decides to try and show up. Especially if this becomes something dangerous from what you said I think I'd trust you to be the one to get him out so he's still alive when I give him an earful." "[I see...]" Diana muttered. She expected he was treating her like a general brute, but this was... not as bad as expected. "I guess I don't plan on swimming, anyway, so I guess I can look out." She leaned back into her seat with a sigh. It was a decent excuse, but still, that just put her on edge for what seemed like a nice field trip. At least she'd be ready if an other signs of trouble showed, as well. And hey, maybe that would make it easier for the others to enjoy.
  8. With the reveal and the return to the classroom, Diana couldn't help but feel a little sheepish. She didn't feel like she deserved such praise... Especially if a student in the other class took down the dinosaur on their own! She still had a long was to go, and she wasn't even sure she could make it that far... "Um... [thank you], ma'am, but I-" Of course, the discourse about the ethic behind the extended test took over, while Diana stood and watched. Even the other girl, Ayane, got a word in edgewise. Complaints about it not being fair, absurd, or worse. That life-threatening situations shouldn't be faked... Maybe they were right. But, all the same. "[Excuse me!]" Diana raised her voice to just below a shout, blushing a bit as she did. "I'm sorry for yelling, but I wanted to get everyone's attention... I really don't know if this was right, wrong, or whatever, but I CAN say that my actions come from a life-threatening situation. I've been in one before... [Oh God, here goes nothing..." Grabbing a hair band from her pocket, she closed her eyes and bunched her hair up, pulling it back into a ponytail. As she did, a scar reaching from her right eye's right cuticle to just before her ear. The girl shook a bit, eyes tight, before taking a deep breath and snapping her eyes open. When she did, her right eye, shown for the first time, was revealed to be mechanical. It seemed to move in unison with Diana's left eye as she shuffled about nervously, taking one last breath before continuing. "In... a life or death situation, you have to [make a move]. Er, just do what has to be done. It's not the time for thinking it through, it's the time for action. Thinking can just make things worse. It probably is a little too far to have us think a glitch like that would happen, but I think it was good practice. And I am [humbled] to receive praise for just letting my limbs carry me." She snapped the headband off and bowed, hair falling back over the right side of her face before she stood up again, glancing to the side. "[I'm not perfect, by any means, either...]"
  9. Once Berserker’s master turns away to look at Berserker, I move quickly to slice their neck open with a larger shard of glass, the rest falling to the floor once more.
  10. "Chloe, you shouldn't be so down on yourself. You were doing great up until the end, and I'm sure you can turn situations like that around!" Vega flashed the hero duelist a grin as they came back from the duel, "But as for you, Matt... You did well, but you really shouldn't talk down to people mid duel. That's not sportsmanlike or entertaining!" She waited as she watched the next duel, clapping and cheering all the while, until the second duel ended in Kendra's victory. Vega opened her mouth to congratulate her, but got cut off by the victor. “...Uh, you two are ready, yeah?” Kendra glanced over at Astrid and Vega. "Of course! Right, Astrid? Oh, but first, Kendra, great job! And, honestly, you did good, too Amely! Though... Shouldn't you have began the turn with reviving Lord of the Red? Iunno, seems like that would have been better. Anyway, let's go~!" Vega didn't wait for a reply, instead taking her spot and activating her disk. Once her opponent was ready, the two began, with Vega taking the first turn. "Good luck, Astrid!" The captain gave her Astrid a thumbs-up, then played her first card. "The wind and clouds whip as the first flame dance begins!" Suddenly, a orb of yellow flame appeared before the girl, before a single spark shot from it to her deck. "I activate Fire Formation - Tenki, which allows me to add Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Dragon from my deck to my hand! Then I'll set a monster, as well as 2 spells and traps, and end my turn. Your go~"
  11. Emi turned back towards Diana. “Hey! Thanks for that, I was in some trouble.” Emi gestured towards the beast on the horizon. “Yeah, I guess we should go deal with that, shouldn’t we? Let’s do it!” Diana followed along as Emi started to head towards the mechanical monsters, which appeared to be approaching... but Diana managed to outrun her fairly quickly, taking the lead. This girl, whose name she still didn't know, controlled water, and that seemed convenient. But first, they had to figure out how to harm the robot. That was when she saw a pink haired boy assault it with a street sign, much like she had done earlier, stabbing it into the dinosaur's leg. It seemed to harm the best, but not as much as they needed. However... Diana stopped as she headed forward, bending down to grab a manhole cover, before she continued to approach. With her hands gripping it tightly, she pulled it back past her side, throwing it like a frisbee at the sign that Ren had lodged in its leg. And, with a little luck, it struck true, causing the sign to tear through more of the joint! The T-Rex immediately stumbled, a mechanical roar escaping it once more as Diana grinned, only for her visible eye to suddenly flick towards part of the armor. "[Hey!] I found the weak point!" Diana yelled back to Emi, flashing her a thumbs up, just in time to turn around and see the beast preparing a barrage of lasers. Without a second thought, Diana pivoted, tackling Emi to the ground as the lasers shot overhead, shooting more of the buildings in the area as she instinctively used her body to protect her classmate, even though the tackle was enough. The damaged buildings began to crumble as Diana picked herself up and offered a hand to Emi. "Sorry about that, [uh...] Don't think I caught your name. But I think we can take this thing out with your water!"
  12. In no particular order: Shannon Almaz Diana Seigi Vera Zofia Devin Kismet Not... sure about #5, honestly. This one is too contested. Every character has a fragment of me inside of them. Desire for peace. Desire for love. Desire to help. Desire to belong... And more. Again, in no particular order. Desires I feel are big for going into the designs, but it's not just that. My past, my thoughts, my emotions, my very soul. I want to make a life that has it better than I've had it. A life I can guide along through their trials and tribulations, and lead them to a happier conclusion. I like making things better for others than I've had it. Shannon and Devin are both heavily born from a sense of expression and belonging, but they take it in different directions. Shannon is someone who has convinced herself that she's suffered so much, that it must mean she's destined to come out stronger than everyone. To save the world. To prove she has worth. She ended up coming out very similarly to Edelgard, despite being designed before we knew anything about Miss Crimson Flower. Not exactly, but there's a lot of details that are similar, simply swapping bits here and there. Devin is one I'm going to refrain from talking about... for now. Vera has been with me for... 10 years at this point. She was originally from a Bleach fanfic I was going to make, but she stuck around in my heart past that project that never got started. She's the first tragic character I ever wrote, and I look at her like a daughter. I'll refrain from more on her, as well. Diana, finally, is someone who started as a reference in name... and became her own person. I let her form herself beyond what I worked with Joseph on her, and out came this girl burning with a desire to see the right thing done. To protect those who can't protect themselves, to be a beacon of "you can do it!", to be a symbol for the downtrodden. She's pretty much the rival to Shannon, personality wise. She doesn't NEED to prove herself to others, she just needs to help them. They are all my "children"... but they've all surpassed what I started them with. Lopt, for example, was meant to be an absolute ass with no empathy or kindness... Yet the Lopt we have, snarky pretender that he is, has a heart. A big one. He just likes to act like he doesn't have one, so he doesn't get too attached again. It's hard to choose that 5th because of this, on top of not wanting to discuss certain aspects of characters. I... honestly don't know. I'm on Discord a lot, still.
  13. "Oh, hey Vera. Nice to see you out of your room." Vera had watched in shocked horror as Patton shamelessly ate the sandwich she had made, her heart falling to her stomach. No. Nonono. No. She didn't mark it properly. She shouldn't have left it in the kitchen. She never did anything right. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Her bright pink aura began to turn darker and reshape around her body as the others continued to talk to... well, about her, and other topics. That made sense. She didn't deserve their attention. She was just an extension of Shawn. That's all. Something to make his life better. Somehow, their treatment managed to cause her aura to form into dark purple wings once more, that familiar, lonely sense returning. She glanced at Shawn, who was paying her no mind, and her mind began to feel at ease. He had defended her being treated like a lab rat. He didn't have to. She could take it if it helped him. But it... felt kinda nice... The wings seemed to shrink on her back as they lightened up once more, ending in a pair of tiny amethyst wings on her back, as she hid in his shadow, muttering quietly. "I-I made that for the director... I kn-know it wasn't much, b-but..."
  14. <ALERT! ALERT! TOTAL OF 16 VILLAINS DETECTED IN TRAINING COURSE ZETA! ALERT! ALERT! LOCKDOWN PROCEDURES COMMENCING! MUST EXTERMINATE!> As Diana retrieved her makeshift weapon from the fallen robot, swarms of smaller robots began to flow out from somewhere. On top of that, there was a giant, roaring T-Rex on the horizon... In the direction that a few of the others had gone. "[Must be a glitch...]" Diana muttered to herself as she brandished the sign, taking a swing at any of the small robots coming near. Should she be breaking through to head towards the behemoth, or should she be trying to rescue others? After all, what could she do to a giant machine like that, taking out an eye would hardly harm it! Granted, they were all heroes in training, so she should focus on handling the situation. But maybe... Diana smashed the head of one of the robots in with the blunt end of the sign, before tossing it up and catching it with the octagonal top just above her head. With a deep breath, she charged directly at the robots, before slamming the sharp end of the sign down, with just enough traction to launch herself over the assailants. She lost the sign after that, but it was fine. She escaped the group crowded around her, and she had enough room to maneuver on the wide street past them. The correct answer wasn't to protect or to solve; it was both. Before long, she saw another crowd gathered around, and without a second thought, she kicked one of the robots into the others, knocking a few down, finding Emi within the swarm. She flashed her classmate a smile. "Hey there! Wanna help me take out a T-Rex?"
  15. "There was nothing in the drinks! I will lick it all off of the floor if I have to, in order to prove it to you! For the seal, you just lift your hand and give an order, and it uses one of your seals! You already summoned Berserker, so you should know that!" I reach down and start scooping the shattered glasses and bottle on to the platter. Setting it aside, I look Berserker's Master dead in the eyes and take the bottom of the bottle, pouring the remaining wine from it into my mouth and swallowing. "Do you believe me now? Call Berserker off!"
  16. “What is your servant doing!? Use a command seal to stop her, right now!”
  17. "If they don't wish to participate, Caster, that is their choice. We can try your ideas out another way... For now, can I offer you guys a drink? Caster will retrieve some for us while I set up a few more traps."
  18. -April 16th, 2000- -12:30 PM- -Diluculo Branch 25, New Jersey- Finally, Nika returned to the Infirmary, stoic as ever. With a slight rap on the door, she cast the group a sideways glance. "Let's go. There's nothing else for her to do for this mission. And... bring the kid with us. I don't want to leave him here." Without waiting for a response, the major left once more, heading to the front of the base. She gritted her teeth, now that no one could see the look on her face, barely resisting the urge to punch a wall. That useless bastard... She would have found out more if not for that blasted phone call. The ride back's silence was deafening as the events continued to roll like film in everyone's minds. At least, until Nika broke it. "I once again apologize." She spoke, never looking back, "None of you deserve to be in this situation. You performed, for the most part, commendably, and if I had the ability to reward you for this in terms of status or monetary means, I would... But I want each of you to know that you will not get killed on my watch. I will take every mission, no matter how foolish it seems, with the utmost seriousness. So, thank you all for understanding." ----- -April 16th, 2000- -3:00 PM- -Diluculo Branch 22- Upon return, Nika dismissed the group and dropped the kid off with Alek, before heading straight for her office. She sighed as she took her seat, turning to look out the window behind her desk. Foolish. She let people with no experience get that close to death. And Franz surely wanted nothing good, he would probably be showing up any minute... And at that moment, she heard a knock. With a resigned sigh, she turned around. "Come in." "Hey..." "Oh, Captain. I didn't think your group would be done so soon." "About that... Franz called me." Nika slumped into her seat a bit, groaning. "And what did he want? He called me, too, and cut my mission short." "He wanted Sergei." "Pardon?" "He wanted to meet Sergei. And when we arrived at the UN, he ended up having papers to move him to being his personal body guard." Nika remained silent, rubbing the bridge of her nose. Just... perfect. Maddy shifted nervously, casting her gaze aside, a sad look on her face. "That worm... Why does... Gah. Let the recruits know. They're going to be training for the next few weeks, after today, they need it." "How bad was it?" "Worse than I could have imagined, but no one was hurt." "At least there's that..." ----- -April 17th, 2000- -10 AM- -Diluculo Branch 22- Maddy briefed the group about Sergei leaving the night before, but then the group was left to their own devices. They were told to focus on training and getting to know each other better, and to keep their eyes open for when missions went up. On top of that, they were told to look at the Heraldica shop on their tablets, but to otherwise just focus on unwinding and practice.
  19. "Ah, hey, are you okay...? I'm sorry I got a bit zoned out taking care of something..." "[Oh it's alright. I mean, random guy walks in and screams that, I'd probably feel a biiiiiit uneasy myself.]" Benjamin nodded with a chuckle. "[Anyway, so what's your name? And what's an American...at least I assume you are don't hate me for assuming...doing here in Japan and at U.A.?]" "I-I'm sorry for bothering you, um...?" Diana nervously rubbed her arm as she spoke to Takehiko, "Sorry, I don't know your name... [Oh, a-and you too, Ben! I'm] Diana Seigi! [I'm here because of... Well, let's say reasons. I'm here to learn how to better help people. And you?]" The distraction managed to pull Diana's attention away from the chainsaw man, now that she wasn't looking dead at him. And things seemed great, just in time for the teacher to rush in. She called herself Ms. Todoya, or Epicenter, though she really just spoke a moment before rushing them out to the gym... But that was fine. Introductions sucked, but it was to be expected. Nice to meet you? Was that the phrase she was supposed to use...? ----- "This is where we'll be introducing ourselves, our quirks, AND our hero names to each other! Please state your name to the class, and head on inside! There are tons of training robots running around here, kinda like your practical exams! Don't be afraid to go all out against them either. And don't take it too easy, because they won't do the same for you. You won't be aiming for points this time around, but everyone has to destroy at least one robot before exiting, is that c-c-clear?! If you have any questions, I'll be all ears. I'm excited to meet you all today!" The girl took a deep breath and clenched her fists tight, gritting her teeth a bit. She hated going first. She was going to make a fool of herself. Her Japanese wasn't good enough for this... But better now than after that chainsaw boy. Pushing forward, Diana walked to the gate and turned around, flashing the rest of her class a big smile, and extending her right fist forward. "[Yo ro shii coo! Wadashi no Diana Seigi!] Sorry if my Japanese is a little messed up, but I'm sure I got this next part right! I'm gonna be the [Seigi no Hiiro - Artemis Justice! Ganbare miinah!]" With that, Diana turned around and made her way into the gates, finding what looked to be a fairly large scale mock city. Roads, buildings, robots everywhere... Yep, totally normal. But she wouldn't be able to destroy one of those things on her own, if the exam was anything to go by, so... Ah! "Hey, nuts and bolts, over here!" Diana drew a robot's attention as she dashed towards a street corner, easily outspeeding the lumbering machine, as she kept her back to a stopsign. As the robot approached, only a few feet taller than Diana herself, it took a swing at the young hero-in-training, earning a sigh of relief from Diana. She leapt up, using the sign itself to brace herself as she landed on the machine's arm, grinning as she felt the signpost come loose from the robot's attack. Without a moment to waste, Diana pulled the stop sign forward, slamming the flat end on the robot's head to push herself into the air, then spinning it around so the sharp, broken end was facing down... and slammed it straight into her opponent's optical lens, jamming it as far into the robot as possible, before hopping off. With a creak and a thud, the ruined robot fell to the ground as Diana wiped the sweat from her brow and grinned. "[Alright, that wasn't so bad! I just needed the proper tools!]"
  20. In year 20XX, Duel Monsters has continued to work towards its latest and greatest evolution! Each of the headlining events of the past, such as Action Duels, Turbo Duels, and even Deck Masters are the headlining events of major tournaments for the world’s most popular sport, with duelists specializing in each! But the real stars are those who participate in Team Duels, matches that feature multiple types of duels at a time! The stage is set. The players are gathered. Their story shall now begins. ----- 4:30 PM, February 22, 20XX "Alrighty then! We've got about a week left, so we should get as much practice in as possible, yeah!?" Everyone sat at a round table, much like those you'd find in a school cafeteria, as Vega excitedly pumped a fist into the air, grinning ear to ear. The room looked fairly basic, other than windows on the wall behind Vega and the one she was facing. If one looked out of the former set of windows, they would find a small parking lot a story below, with snow lining the road and the area around it, though the lot itself was clear. Opposite of that view, the other set of windows looked down into a decently sized auditorium, enough room to hold a few duels in... although not quite large enough to practice anything other than Standard Duels. The rest of the room the group sat in was rather plain, other than a sink and a fridge in one corner, with a small file cabinet in the opposite corner, close to the stairwell door. "We also don't have a team name yet, but I'm sure Ms. Eda can whip something up for us, even if we don't quite get one in time. So, I was thinking... Whyyy don't we pull sticks and duel against whoever? Y'know, instead of sticking to the others who know our style best. I even have some popsicle sticks ready!" Vega reached into the purse sitting next to her on the floor, triumphantly holding her fist out with 6 sticks in it, sure enough. "I marked two of them with blue, to face off first, another two with red for second, and left two of them unmarked. Sounds like fun, yeah?" ----- OOC
  21. Diana's friendly gesture earned her the bird from Hakaro, prompting a bit of a slump from the girl. Well, this was going swimmingly already. Luckily, another boy would approach her thereafter, drawing her mind away from the one in the back. "Hey there. Benjamin O'Hara...nice to meet you!" "[Ah, are you foreign, too!? Oh my God, I'm going to be able to express myself clearly for once!]" Diana beamed, before clearing her throat and adjusting, "U-um, provided you understand English. I just assumed so, based on how you pronounced and said your name..." As Diana waited for Ben's reply, she watched the others pile in, one after another. A foppish boy who brought treats, an excitable and happy boy, and then... a loud sound, like engines revving. Suddenly, a boy with a chainsaw for a head.and hands busted into the room, screaming about it. Diana unconsciously grabbed at her right elbow once more, shifting her eyes away, and breaking into a bit of a cold sweat. Just breathe. Breathe. Calm down. It's another hero. He seems... nice. Yeah. Nice. Just being silly. Nothing could go wrong. If he's here he's safe, right? Well, other than the asshole in the back... Diana started to zone out, the boy with the chainsaws taking over her mind as she desperately tried to force it away, before Ben tapping her on the shoulder brought her back to reality, with a bit of a scream. "[I-I'm s-sorry, what were you saying? I, uh... I wasn't feeling great and zoned out, ehe...]"
  22. "God damn it, will you fucking yanks stop chasing me?" The man held the corpse closer, 『FOX ON THE RUN』appearing behind him once more. A pane of glass appeared in front of the thief, earning a laugh. "You think Fox can't break through that? Watch this!" The stand shot forward, only to slam into the glass head-on, earning a cry of pain from its user. "Fuck, what kinda glass is that!? I gotta get out of here...!" As he gripped at the corpse and tried to stand, something began to change. His stand took on a new form, the silver on it turning black as night, the mask reshaping into something similar to wings, and the arms turning into large, metallic wings with flames emblazoned on them. The stand grabbed its user and began to carry him into the sky, all while the thief flipped his new assailant off. "I don't know what happened, but I guess I'm gonna call this guy 『BAT OUTTA HELL』now, so I'll be gone til morning comes!" But something was wrong. Something didn't feel right. And it soon became evident. The man's skin began to peel away, increasing in speed, all while an intense feeling of burning went over his skin. A scream escaped him as his stand began to lose shape and form, eventually dropping his body to the ground with a sickening crunch, the sacred corpse landing on top of this new corpse.
