Honestly I feel you'd have really liked the grass final evo but, have fun!

Sounds about like me, except I went with Shield. I went with Grookey myself. It's honestly not a bad game if you include both DLC, gives lots of room for fun team combinations 

It looks really amazing. But the closest thing to that style of game I've played is uhhh...Shantae, so I'm hesitant.

You won't be disappointed. It's really good.

I think its I'm unsure of the metroid style of gameplay, the going around collecting things type deal, but it is one of the games I want to check out.
