I KNOW I KNOW! I just now finished watching Future, so here are my thoughts on the whole series (dubbed) without giving away too many spoilers for those who may not have seen them yet.

First of all it was SOOOO great to hear the majority of the original cast (Joshua Seth as Tai, Mona Marshall as Izzy, Laura Summer as Patamon, etc). My biggest complaint as far as casting changes go, due to nostalgia reasons is replacing Lara Jill Miller for Tara Sands as Kari... Don't get me wrong, Sands did great but I would've LOVED to hear Lara Jill's Kari!

The 6 film series as a whole was so nostalgic for me, the slight changes to the designs of Agumon and his Digivolutions didn't bother me as much as I thought they would. I loved that each film let each of the Digi-Destined shine, reminded me of in the anime when they were searching for their crests. Speaking of Digivolutions... I wish the sequence would've been similar to the sequence in the anime, but the Digivolution sequences were really well done. Meico and Meicoomon were PERFECT additions to the franchise in my opinion.

The titles of each movie kind of gives an idea on what that movie/episode will be about, so I won't go into details about them. I will say this though... I'm excited for the Future (pun intended) for the franchise, especially if rumors are true that a new full length film is coming.

Not posting spoilers made giving my thoughts a lot harder than it should've been... so there's a quick summary I guess. If you've seen all of them, let me know your thoughts... and if you want to talk about things that happened in them that would be considered spoilers, feel free to message me and we can discuss our thoughts on what happened and what we think will happen as a result!

Overall; great movies/episodes, loved the voice acting, loved the action even if at some times it seemed just a bit too much, and thoroughly enjoyed the storyline as a whole!

While I enjoyed these films, they had serious pacing issues. The sixth film is the most egregious in this regard, since it's just one big fight scene. I want to say the first two were the strongest, and honestly I feel like they had too many ideas that they were setting up that could have been explored here, but instead they meandered and focused far too much on Meiko and Meicoomon.

I'd be okay with another film, since Future did leave some major plot threads unresolved. I just hope they actually wrap things up properly this time around.

I guess I missed on the runnings of the other parts after three. It was incredibly awkward with pacing, that I didn't want to follow it after the third one and seemingly forgot about it occurring.
