Hiya, folks! Name's TCgamerboy2002, TC for short. I'm more into Yu-Gi-Oh! person than any other card game. I'm a gamer by trait, mostly console games, but I have dabbled into PC games on occasion. I've played Yu-Gi-Oh! log ago, but I stopped playing because the rules started getting complicated, what with the synchros and the xyz's, and whatnot. Recently, my bro started marathoning Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters on Netflix and I started getting re-interested in the games again, especially with monsters that are more suitable to me nowadays.

I'm more of an imagineer as I have so many ideas, may it be story or characters. So I figured maybe I should take a shot at this Card Maker to see what I can make with it. I might make an archetype of my own someday, but for now, I can only talk about ideas.

I really hope to have a good time here. ?

You might fit in well with the RP section then.

Having said that, welcome aboard! I'm Yui, and I'll be part of your welcome wagon today. Our community on this site isn't very big, but we're always glad to see new members stumble upon us, so hopefully you'll stick around and enjoy your time here! That said, don't forget to read up on site rules, as well as the section rules for any sections you may frequent. You can honestly get away with just skimming them for the most part since a lot of it is common sense stuff, but feel free to PM somebody you see in a section with any questions you may have about the place.

Again, looking forward to seeing more of you in the future!

Thanks!

I tried registering over at YGOCM, but registration didn't seem to work. At least, not on my computer. Eventually, I found out about this place, and I think it's good enough for me. :classic_biggrin:

Though the forecast was showing it would be a dark and stormy night, the skies seemed to only be overcast at the present mid-day time. And yet in spite of these bleak looking skies it did little to abate the activities and excitement of the people of Camellia. Though the big city didn't know much in way of rest today was especially abuzz with activity as the people had all filed into the new - several year old - Aspect Stadium, the main hub for all things Blue Rose would be broadcast. The reason was simple. Today was a day for introductions, for promotion and for showcasing. Each and every duelist partaking in the Blue Rose tournament had been called to the new - though in reality five year old - Aspect Stadium; the building where all duels for Blue Rose would be held. All thirty two of them were to listen to the announcer for the event tell them all that was expected for the tournament. The rules, code of conduct, the long and storied tradition and history of the both the tournament and the sport. And finally for the viewers at home a short introduction of each of the players, simply stating all of their names, decks and what province they were representing. When all was said and done, the group was dismissed from the tournament hall and free to go about their business.
Upon exiting the stadium proper, they would see a crowd of people who had all been waiting for them, some fans of the sport and some reporters and journalists looking to interview the duelists. Naturally some of the participants were more popular than others, last year's third place being swarmed the moment that she had left the building, and they would deal with their fans and crowds in their own way. The group of tournament participants would be able to spend the rest of their free time however they wished for the day, knowing full well that tomorrow was the start of the games proper.
Iris, for her part, didn't particularly feel in the mood to do any press for herself as well. Smiling and waving to all the people who had called out to her, Iris merely continued her way forward and managed to get past all of them. Looking up to the sky the girl frowned, thinking that the gray skies wasn't the best of omens for the coming tournament. Not to mention it was neither sunny nor raining, making her ever present parasol nothing more than a fashionable accessory. Sighing to herself, the girl continued to walk into the unfamiliar city proper, thinking that surely there was something to pass the time with.

Yugioh 5Ds: The Call of the Duel is a Yugioh RP, set in the time period following the defeat of Z-ONE at the end of 5Ds, in the aftermath of the Signers of the Crimson Dragon going their separate ways. The story will follow rising stars in the landscape of New Domino in 2038, as the troubled history of their city appears to continue, with a new wave of crime, corporatism, and an undercurrent of occult conspiracy sweeping into the gap left behind by the Z-ONE disaster. Some highlights include; the presence Turbo Duelling Vigilantes, such as the 'Re-Enforcers' and 'Ryder Zero', the reemergence of KaibaCorp into the public eye, Jack Atlas serving as the Head of Sector Security, whispers about remnants of the Arcadia Movement, and more. Intrigue is the name of the game, and the only things you'll be able to trust are yourself, your deck, and if you have it, your Duel Runner.

[DA PLOT] A convergence has happened. In the world of Pokemon, new creatures akin to them have appeared. They came from another world, here to live in ours. Some were instinct-driven, integrating themselves into ecosystems. Others had the minds of men, and could live among them easily.
They were beings known as Duel Spirits, and they have come to stay.
Today, they're spread across the world of Pokemon, but one region in particular - the K'nomi region - has the greatest concentration of these Duel Spirits.
They were the first region in the world to allow Duel Spirits to be used in official Pokemon League battles and tournaments. Gym Leaders, Eite Four, even the Champion used them. The K'nomi region treated them like Pokemon, fellow humans, and of course, there is always those who want to use them as tools.
Within this saga, different tales will be explored.
Are you part of a detective agency that investigates problems caused by Duel Spirits throughout the region, helping those who cannot adapt to these newfangled creatures?
Are you out to find Duel Spirits that are on the level of Legendary and Mythical Pokemon, believing that they might clash with the Legends of our world?
Or are you out to fight Gym Leaders, the Elite Four, the Champion?
Well, I basically took someone's old idea from 2010s YCM. I've been thinking of remolding it for a while.
I guess I might have to think hard about some mechanics. For the time being, only Fusion will be an actual card game mechanic used here while I imagine others like Synchro Monsters, Link Monsters and the like are regular evolutions or even standalones.
I suppose Synchro summoning mechanics could be integrated easily.
I imagine most monsters will have evolutionary lines based on aspects of their lore. Once we get into accepting phase, a lot will be explained.
