Digimon: Next World (Interest Check)

Premise:

The year is 2XXX.  Disaster has struck humanity countless times.  Perpetual wars have devastated every population around the globe.  Tired, and disgusted, with the acts of humanity, Satoshi Ichijouji finished his last project on Earth: a gate to the Digital World.  Satoshi preached that salvation lied in the digital world, and ushered those who were willing to leave this world behind into the next.  Generations have passed, and humanity has begun to thrive in earnest within the Digital World.  However, troubles still persist in this Next World.  Will your generation be able to overcome the trials of this new society, or will the Digital World succumb to the same fate as Earth?

To partake or not to partake... well I guess my schedule's empty as balls now.

I'd ask some questions but I am unsure whether or not we're people with Digimon, without Digimon or if we're the Digimon themselves.

In this new society, only a select few become Digi destined.  Will we be playing the select few chosen.
