Supreme Slayer Posted May 2 Share Posted May 2 (edited) Some cards in Goat Format would be at least fringe playable or more fun to use if they were slightly improved or un-janked. Here are some of my ideas along those lines. "FLIP: Destroy up to 2 monsters on the field." No longer requires 2 monsters to destroy to do anything, and can actually survive an attack from lower powered beaters or dish out a bit of damage when needed. "Tribute 1 Reptile or Winged-Beast monster; Special Summon 1 Dinosaur monster from your hand." Now more scientifically accurate while still keeping the same function in existing decks, and you actually have a reason to use it to summon level 4 dinos! "Select 1 Spell Card from your opponent's Graveyard. Either activate that Spell Card immediately or add it to your hand until the end of the turn. If you use that Spell Card, you take 2000 points of damage." Now lets you do fun things like end phase Heavy Storm while being able to still stop a flip-summoned Faith from grabbing the card they want. "Gains 500 ATK for each "Lava Battleguard" you control. Your opponent cannot declare an attack on monsters other than "Swamp Battleguard"." "Gains 500 ATK for each "Swamp Battleguard" you control. If 1 or more "Swamp Battleguard" you control would be destroyed, you can destroy this card instead." Can now be summoned off of UFO Turtle or searched with Sangan, while increasing its viability somewhat by actually doing something besides being a beater. There is lots of non-destruction removal in goat format, but this is better than nothing.
