Rank-Up-Magic, Chronological Xyz

Quick-Play Spell

Target 1 Xyz Monster You control; Special Summon from your Extra Deck 1 "Number", or "CXyz" monster whose its Rank is equal or higher than that monster, by using it as the Xyz Material (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon. Transfer its Materials to the Summoned monster.). You can only summon a monster that either lists the target card name OR listed on the target text this way. also for the rest of this turn, you cannot Special Summon other monster with the same name by the effect of "Rank-Up-Magic, Chronological Xyz ". Then you can repeat this effect by targeting monster summoned by the effect of this card until you choose not to special summon a monster. When this effect resolved, the Summoned monster gain the effect(s) of all monster targeted by this card this turn. You can only activate 1 "Rank-Up-Magic, Chronological Xyz " per turn

A bit confused about the card. If I understand the effect correctly, it's intended to allow an Xyz monster to go through as many of its forms as possible, but IIRC only a handful of Numbers have more than 2 forms, for example, from the top of my head, Utopia and Shark Drake. The gimmick seems lost then, except for amusing and potentially overpowering Utopia overlays.

Actually I took a look and Shark Drake only has a C form, while many of the Utopia forms do not list the original Utopia so you cannot go for a long chain of Xyz evolutions through this card. That makes the consecutive effect more situational but at least it's less likely to break anything.

pretty close.

since it can be used to summon non-C Number, there 1 more interaction this card can do:

Number 53 > Number 92 > Number C92

If this card is sent from the hand or field to the GY: You can Ritual Summon 1 Non-Effect Ritual Monster from your Deck. This effect of "Angelfood" can only be used once per turn.

The result of some drawing practice I felt like making into a full card. A pretty straightforward effect that's probably significantly more powerful than I imagine it to be. But hey, those dusty Performance of the Swords and Crab Turtles in your box of old cards deserve some love.

Tribute 1 face-up monster on either side of the field: Its controller can Special Summon 1 monster from their hand or Deck with the same Type and Attribute and an ATK or DEF greater than the tributed card. Card effects cannot be activated for the rest of this turn, except for the effects of a monster Special Summoned by this card. You can only activate 1 "Power Creep" per turn.

Spent a while trying to come up with an effect for the image. If you have any more fitting ideas, let me know.
