Summer Darj 292 Posted October 3, 2019 Kinfa wish they were DARK and LIGHT to deviate from the common EARTH/Rock but at least they get to mesh a bit better with Block Dragon. Could there be mistranslations and all of the Ritual Summoning effects are Quick, or there really are only 2 of them? If they were all Quick it would be more amusing and competitively relevant. Was thinking Phaleg was the worst due to the mere ATK boosting effect but then I realized it's the only beater in the archetype so far. I find amusing their Ritual clauses not only state any archetype card, also they don't even have a proper Ritual Spell yet. Never thought Ritual Spells would be left out from an entire Ritual archetype in this way. I have seen card makers do it, but didn't expect koomy would do it, too. Anyway, I think these got potential to be decent. Block Dragon support is already a big plus and they seem to appreciate mill support so some BAs or LS can help. Plus techs like Block Golem, the Stone Statue and Koaki rocks plus Ties of Brethren to play the stun game, maybe. The Cont. Trap that is practically an OPT Reborn looks great, too. Zaziuma 41 Posted October 3, 2019 Kind of odd that I never thought of Rituals simply Ritual Summoning with their monster effects, rather than a Ritual Spell, I gotta do something with that eventually, though these guys seem to be gimmick overload, with using only Ritual Monsters, no Ritual Spells at all, and having Quick Effect Ritual Summons too. I like them, how they play is hard to say though, they do have 3 Ritual Spells in their monsters, though it does hurt not being able to actually use the great Ritual Spell support, though some of the generic stuff can work I suppose. Summer Darj 292 Posted October 3, 2019 Just realized you can assist the archetype with 2 of the 4 Impcantantion searchers, Talismandra and Penciplume, which means you don't need the full Impcantantion set as some Ritual decks too, unless you want to increase the chances of opening with Talismandra, or you run Ritual Spells like ARA or Earth Chant and IDK what else they can use. That ought to be a plus, at least for reducing the deck size. Furthermore, the 2 Impcantantions are searchable by E-Tele and Lonefire for deck thinning if needed. If you put in an Impcantation package, you might as well use their Ritual Spell since it can summon any Ritual monster, speed up the Impcantation engine, and be pseudo searched by Foolish Burial Goods. Getting this deck started looks like it'd be a bit of an issue, but... It's a ROCK archetype and I want it!
