Stormy Night Ritual

Ritual Spell

If this Set card leaves the field because of an opponent's card effect, you can Ritual Summon 1 Ritual monster from your hand or Deck by tributing monsters you control or in your hand whose total Levels equal or exceed the Level or the monster you Ritual Summon.

 

Just a card I came up with right now. Too tired to look up wording so it probably could use a few fixes.

Punishes "blind MSTing" and Ritual Summoning from deck is nice, but I find it overshadowed by that Snake in Jar Trap that Summons from the ED with the same conditions. Maybe if it let you also Tribute monsters your opponent controls, you would be onto something closer to the level of the aforementioned Trap.

      The result of some drawing practice I felt like making into a full card. A pretty straightforward effect that's probably significantly more powerful than I imagine it to be. But hey, those dusty Performance of the Swords and Crab Turtles in your box of old cards deserve some love.

      Spent a while trying to come up with an effect for the image. If you have any more fitting ideas, let me know.
