The first effect looks solid to me, and I see no problems with supporting both Flamvells and Lavals, at the very least they are connected by being from the same storyline. You could even include FIREs from other DT archetypes to be more consistent, like Suanni from YZs and a couple of Genex monsters. Unsure about the Synchro Summoning effect because it can let you shortcut into FIRE Synchros that have convoluted materials, such as specific Tuners, or 3 materials, and so on; as long as you match the Levels, you would be able to access them.
