LordCowCow 828 Posted October 26, 2019 Alright so just saw that this game was released in NA 14 years ago today and with Halloween approaching....share some of your experiences with and thoughts on the game! Were there any parts that stuck out as your favorite? For me it's the regenerators. Even on later playthroughs where I knew what was going to happen they still managed to unnerve me. Thar 502 Posted October 26, 2019 The only RE game I've ever played was 5 cause I got it free on PS+, and it was only for maybe a couple hours. But I will say, watching playthroughs of it is almost comical. I watched OneyNG play it on his Let's Play channel, and it's difficult to take seriously. I'd say based on what I remember of that series, my favorite parts have always been whenever you can just hit a zombie once and they fall off an edge. It never gets old. MetalSonic 86 Posted October 26, 2019 I loved RE4. For the best experience, I actually recommend the Wii version. Often times, it felt like the fact it was taking itself seriously was the joke all along. While Saddler was a boring villain, Salazar in the second act makes up for that immensely. I also prefer Leon to Chris as my protagonist.

I don't know why, but I didn't find the regenerators nearly as scary or threatening as most people who played the game did. For me personally, the first encounter of the novistadors scared me more. Ambiance, invisibility, and feral monsters. And the last part where you played as Ashley, since all you could do was run away from the last enemies. Anyways: Game is always fun to pick up and satisfying to kill enemies. And atmosphere was still fairly faithful to previous two games.
