I know how easy it is to let that happen, I have struggled with it a lot in the past. What helped me a lot was reaching the understanding that most of the time, people aren't trying to mess up each others' day. They're just vibin, you know? Other than that, you're a fun guy. It's been really exciting planning stuff out with you for multiple RPs, our characters always have huge synergy.
