Ragnarok Rumble! The Rumble on Mt. Olympus (OOC/PG-16/Co-Host Wanted)

MJRYIQp.png

Story

At the turn of every Millennia, Earth's deities rise from their slumber and gather together.  For what, you may be asking yourself?  Well, the answer is quite simple, and vain.  The gods assemble to discuss which religion will dominate the faithful for the next 1000 years.  To settle this debacle efficiently, and easily, the gods from every corner of the world choose a champion to partake in a tournament known as the Ragnarok Rumble (Trademarked by the Norse Gods).  The winner of Ragnarok becomes with the pantheon of the gods they represent, and may have any other wish they could think of granted.

The gods don't choose their champions lightly.  Be they creature, or mere mortal, the fighters they choose tend to be descendants of legendary figures throughout history, demigods ignorant to their own powers.  Who will heed the call to be crowned Earth's strongest this time?

The Lamest of Lamers

Spoiler

Image
"Don't know much I can even do in this, but I'll give it a shot..."

Personal Information
Name: Flint Martel
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance:

Spoiler

u0bj7CG.jpg

Height: 5'8"
Weight: 140 lbs

Flint's body build is pretty athletic, nothing too grandiose, but he's fit and healthy.

Personality:

Spoiler

The epitome of blandness and lameness in human form, Flint honestly doesn’t have many specialties or off the wall quirks about him. Of course he’s a kind-hearted individual, not easy to give up on certain things he does (even though he knows he’ll fail), but he’s nothing like his peers who seem to be even more talented and intelligent than he is. Regardless, one defining feature he has is the unwillingness to give up on anything (whether he wants to do it or not).

When it comes to a problem he’s facing, he’s usually able to find a solution...sometimes not even the main solution. Flint has himself a habit that he tends to improvise a solution to a problem if and when he can. Sometimes this benefits him greatly, other times it blows up right in his face, but he’s definitely got a troubleshooting brain. In the area of self defense, he has taken a few martial arts classes, just to learn how to defend himself, but didn’t get very far in them and generally has the basics of the fighting styles down...that’s it.

Biography:

Spoiler

"How do you even argue with a god? Especially one that can electrocute you?!"

For as long as he could remember, Flint was just a lame individual. No outstanding quirks about him, no marvelous talents, just for all intents and purposes...he was just a bland child. Of course he was smart and sharp as a tack, but nothing greatly outshined others of his peers when it came to things...just average.

As he grew, he would eventually be called by his peers, "The Lamest of Lamers". It never bothered him though, just being a bland and lame guy in life. It just meant that he had a pretty quiet life, one thing he never envied out of all others with specialties: a busy, loud and fast paced life. He was just content living with his grandparents and enjoying his quiet life. A part of him, however, did always wonder what would've happened if he just wasn't so lame...maybe then his parents might've actually stuck around. But the past was in the past and it didn't matter. Regardless, this small fraction of a wandering thought was taken notice of…

On one such a day, Flint was approached and invaded...by a deity. Fate seemed to bring to Flint an opportunity that never would've ever appeared before, and it was definitely an abnormal moment in the young man's life: to be a representative in the upcoming bout...the Ragnarok Rumble. Zeus himself along with Hephaestus appeared before him, looking for someone who was "lame". Unfortunately, Hephaestus' desire for a "lame" representative was mistranslated by his father Zeus, as he wished for someone who wasn't lame in personality, but one who was lame in body such as he. Zeus, on the other hand, saw he did nothing wrong and simply laughed the situation off as just a part of his grand plan. Flint initially tried to refuse, but Zeus both demanded, threatened and even promised that this would possibly be a great moment in his life...if only for the possibility of impressing women...much to Hephaestus' chagrin. Eventually, due to a combination of all of Zeus' goading, Flint reluctantly agreed to join as Hephaestus and one of the Greek pantheon's representatives.

Flint, during all this, however is just hoping to keep himself from getting in over his head with all of it...but then again, he just might've already.

Combat Information
Epithet: The Lamest of Lamers
Represented God: Hephaestus, Blacksmith of Olympus
Powers:

Spoiler

H-Style
Contrary to popular belief, even though he was lame, Hephaestus had a signature style of fighting that he referred to as Hephaestus Style (or H-Style) in which he could utilize the weapons and items he forged and crafted in quite a fluid manner. While his representatives in previous Rumbles didn’t forge a weapon or item out of thin air to utilize in the fighting style, they’re taught this to truly shine with whatever weapons they happen to have in their arsenal. It’s a style that seems to encourage improvisation rather than sticking to a strict form or stance.

Weapon Shifting
The innate ability to take anything around the representative, allowing them to buff and reinforce them and form an improvised weapon of sorts. While Hephaestus was able to just use his forge to repair and mend weapons and items, that happens to be a luxury that his representatives cannot afford to have. Thus, he’s given them the ability to make anything a weapon via a transmutation, the only limit happens to be the imagination of the user.

Weapon proficiency
As a representative of the Blacksmith of the gods, the representatives have the uncanny ability to be proficient in weapons they normally wouldn’t. The catch is as long as they’ve seen the weapon in action at least once, they can gain a basic understanding of it and apply it to their own minds and bodies, allowing them to be more proficient in the weapon art than they were prior.

Thermal Resistance/Thermal Conductivity
Along with being the Blacksmith to Olympus, Hephaestus grants his representatives with the ability of thermal resistance and conductivity. If the heat gets to someone normally, it wouldn’t for the representative...and if the cold becomes too much to bear, it wouldn’t for them...at least not at first.

Miscellaneous Information
Flint's Theme | Battle Theme (Alternative)

  • His name means the following: Flint - An English name that means "born near outcrop of Flint", Martel - An English and French name occupational name for a smith, however in Old French it means “hammer” (martellus).
  • Due to Hephaestus' one epithet: Amphigýeis (The Lame One), I decided to lean heavily into a lame and genuinely bland character, which definitely seemed like a fun idea to work with.
  • The idea of using Hephaestus came from Yui suggesting the possibility of using improvisational weapons, rather than going my initial thought of making it similar to "Fate/Unlimited Blade Works". In the grand scheme of things, this new path seemed way more fun than the initial thought.
  • During the creation process of Flint, I was mid-watching of "The God of Highschool", thusly some influence from the show/music did play a heavy role in molding and forming Flint.
  • This character marks another difference in many of my other characters, where as this one was made to be lame/bland on purpose, rather than being a normal "Chaos Sonic Shonen Style".
  • Flint's text color is #2980b9 (Strong Blue).

Biography:

Spoiler

Seong-Min was born a young human girl and for the first seventeen years of her life thought that was all she was. She knew from a fairly young age that her parents had adopted her but the family was happy and fairly wealthy. The girl never wanted for anything and was given most anything she desired. Her parents seemed almost hesitant to discipline her which Seong-Min definitely abused. Though they still had boundaries. The Jin home could have easily been mistaken as a shrine to the god Haemosu whom Seong-Min was told she could never disrespect in any degree. She never understood why but as the one thing they had ever punished her for, it stuck with her.

Against all expectations, Seong-Min actually mellowed out in her early teenage years and felt something of remorse for the abuse of her parents near endless kindness. The feeling came and went but she started going out of her way to help them more around the house and didn't always assert what she wanted had to be done. But as she got older she caught onto more things that were out of place with their relationship. That hesitance to punish her was accompanied with a near reverence for her person, never touching her without her permission or even drawing too close unless she desired it. It seemed unnatural, and the more she spoke with school friends the more awkward everything began to feel.

At fifteen Seong-Min began experimenting, an attempt to push her parents to their limits. She stayed out later and later, experimented with smoking and sex and yet never did her parents scold her. Eventually she had to confront them but any conversation on the matter only ever brought forth expressions of their love and good will toward her and whatever she chose to do with her life. It was unsettling to Seong-Min at this point and so she backed off on her riotous living some but still did mostly as she pleased.

Everything was uncomfortably normal and boring to the girl until the week before her seventeenth birthday. Her mother came to her and spoke of a big surprise that was awaiting her which only made the girl anxious for the week to pass faster. Her parents both spoke bits and pieces more as the week progressed, going so far to say the night before that it would be life changing. At the strike of midnight on her birthday, a bright glow enveloped Seong-Min's room as she slept. Yet it didn't wake her. Her parents saw to that early some six or so hours later.

The girl complained to be woken up soon early in the morning but seemed alarmed at the sound of her own voice. Something was different. It was so deep and hoarse. The idea she had gotten that sick overnight was alarming. But trying to sit up in bed proved difficult and her parents both placed their hands on her to try and keep her from moving suddenly. They invited her to look calmly at herself. It was with mounting panic Seong-Min saw not the body of a teenage girl, but a ten foot long, red, scaled snake with legs. She shouted and thrashed in place and soon a mirror was presented to her to see her face.

The next hour consisted of panicked crying and running about in her new form. Once she settled her parents began to speak the truth. They were servants of Haemosu who had been charged by the god of the sun to raise one of the last Imoogi, ancient mythological lesser dragons who were tied to the weather, water, and agriculture. Most were born in their serpentine form, but whenever a new age was to open to them one would be born as a human girl that would transform forever at the age of seventeen. Seong-Min was the new scion of the Imoogi, decreed by Haemosu to be the future mother of a new generation of dragons after being wed to a dragon the god himself kept.

It took several days for any of this to make sense of course. Seong-Min couldn't go anywhere looking like she did. She hated everything. Nothing had informed her she was any different than the other kids at school. That was all she wanted to be. She wanted to see her friends and be normal. But no matter what happened, no matter how she thought about it or however many times she slept and woke hoping it all to be a dream, still she was a dragon.

After some weeks the house was graced with a blinding light. Haemosu himself had appeared though the light of his form prevented any of the family from grasping the fine details of his appearance. He repeated much of what Seong-Min's parents had told her and bestowed on her a new name: Taeyang-ui Suhoja. He further explained the coming Ragnarok tournament and that Taeyang was to be his representative. But the girl's first order of business was to become accustomed to the powers of her new form before being blessed with a Yeouiju from heaven which would be Haemosu's blessing to her.

Taeyang spent the next several years drifting about various mountain ranges, resigned to an awful despair at how her life had been ripped away from her. But there was one shred of hope to cling to. The shining sphere from heaven, the Yeouiju she had yet to claim as her own. The powers that it held in legend, surely she could regain her old form with something like that. As of her transformation she had been informed there were some nine years for her to ready herself for the tournament Haemous intended her to participate in and that the Yeouiju would be ready for her in some five years time. But that wasn't enough. Taeyang began flying higher and higher each day, attempting to reach the heavens. One day she did and found the object of her desire, the shining sphere of power. She grasped it with her four-clawed hand and felt Haemosu's blessing come over her. But something wasn't right. Several years too soon, the sphere had not been full prepared and thus a very fine sliver of it cracked and fell to the ocean below.

Worried but not defeated, Taeyang returned with her treasure and soon found it did indeed have the power to transform her. But she was soon frustrated to learn it could not make her fully human again. Instead she had an appearance of a human mixed with a dragon. The form was gained by taking the Yeouiju directly into her body and so the actual powers she possessed in it were great. But that wasn't helpful for getting back to her normal life.

Haemous soon appeared before her and berated her for not being patient, stating there was nothing he could do to fix the broken orb for her now. She spoke of her desire and frustrations of how she had asked for none of this to which the god replied that her only recourse now was to win the tournament. She would be granted a wish, which would be able to repair the Yeouiju and grant her the powers she desired. He then departed to leave her to her own devices.

And so Seong-Min has been living her life as a dragon. The humanoid form has been enough to move about human society more with some cleverness and help from her parents. She reconnected with friends here and there. The years have passed in a mixture of reclusive life as a majestic dragon and wholly inappropriate partying amidst humans.

Now she stands ready to fight for her desires, uncertain if simply being human again is all she really wants anymore.

Personality:

Spoiler

Seong-Min is rash and impulsive. She does and says most everything that enters her mind without much thought for the feelings of other people. The dragon has a mean spoiled streak and is prone to getting petty and passive-aggressive if things don't immediately go her way. She does have some filters, allowing her to parse out how to appropriately act in most situations. The question becomes whether or not she'll make use of this information or willfully rebel against it. It's hard to get a read on her but she goes out of her way to look out for those who amuse her.

Seong-Min has come to embrace a dragon's sense of pride as a mask to a great insecurity about her form and voice. There are no obviously feminine traits in her mind to it and given her voice is very deep as a dragon she gets very self-conscious about being correctly identified. There is perhaps no quicker way to anger her than to assume her to be a male dragon, even if most people would have no real way of telling without her input first. Inversely, she is very proud of the humanoid form she has devised for herself which restores her old voice. But even then, that she isn't fully human is still a sore spot. If you don't find the form attractive get ready for an earful.

Power/Arsenal:

Spoiler

Flight
Even without any visible propulsion, Seong-Min can fly through the air at varying speeds. Can still breathe even incredibly thin air and resists the temperature fluctuates at different altitudes to an extent but would not be able to escape the atmosphere by any means.

Obangsaek - Five Orientation Color
Normally, obtaining a Yeouiju would grant a dragon near omnipotent control over the five natural elements. With Seong-Min's broken as it is, she still has control over them but cannot manipulate them on quite so grand a scale. Granted she can still manipulate the weather in her vicinity. Most of these powers cannot be used if she has lost her grip on the Yeouiju.

  • Blue Wood: Wood presides over the growth of life. It's power can create and manipulate plant life of all kinds. It also oversees windy weather, tornados being the highest form of this power.
  • Red Fire: Fire presides over flourishing life. When concentrated this energy can cause things to burn. Seong-Min herself is capable of breathing fire. It also oversees hot, sunny weather. This particular power is boosted by Seong-Min's nature as a dragon and her patron sun deity. She can generate and manipulate fire in all sorts of ways.
  • Yellow Earth: Earth presides over changing life. Stone and other minerals can be manipulated though not created. Allows for great balance and protection from outside forces in the form of barriers. Also oversees rainy weather.
  • White Metal: Metal presides over waning life. Metal is rigid and not easily manipulated but its presence grants strength and these traits of rigidity to one resonant with the element. Also oversees dry weather.
  • Black Water: Water presides over the end of life. It also oversees cold and icy weather. Allows for the control of water and ice from whatever source, even the atmosphere itself. Due to strongly resonating with Fire, Seong-Min's control of Water is weak.

Yeouiju Assimilation
By taking the sphere into her body, Seong-Min is able to freely manipulate her own body which allows for her more humanoid form. Her control of the elements becomes more potent in this form but even more restricted in its range, mandating she fight in close quarters to make good use of them.

The Five Dragon Chariot
A last resort of sorts. Seong-Min has been granted the right to call upon Haemosu's personal chariot, drawn by five true dragons. One dragon has perfectly resonated with and mastered one of the five elements and upon answering Seong-Min's call will unleash a pure stream of their element. The interaction of the five together makes for an incredibly destructive attack, able to tear apart any natural defense. Seong-Min's Yeouiju, imperfect as it is, will go dark after the dragons appear, severely limiting her control of the five elements for several hours.

Miscellaneous:

Spoiler

-Big flirt with everyone, regardless of form.
-While not a western dragon, she'd seen enough media as a human that she's begun hoarding loose change as a joke. It's now no longer a joke as she has a cave somewhere in the mountains full of coins of all sorts of currencies.
-Gives everyone nicknames.
-Still very often thrown off by not being human size.

How loose is the concept of god in this? Can I use guys like Momotaro, Merlin, Achilles and Heracles as gods or does it have to be god gods?

You represent a God God, but may be a descendant of any number of demi-gods/old time legends like the ones mentioned.  You will not be playing a god, rather a champion of a God.  Let's say if you wanted to play Heracles, he'd obviously be repping the Greek Pantheon.

So to sum up your question, yes you may use those characters if they are still living, but this RP takes place during the modern era, so a descendant is acceptable.

WIP

76092848_p0.png

Name:
Hrodvitnir

Age:
15

Sex:
Yes Female

Represented God/Gods:
Fenrir, Jormungandr & Hel of the Underworld

Appearance:
Hrodvitnir is a mere 145cm tall and has a thin, lean, flat figure with not a lot of meat to boast of. She has markings all over her body to boot.

Biography:
This lady was born a young girl named Miranda in the great greens of Iceland. Her childhood was beautiful, until it wasn't.

Miranda lost her parents at a young age, but she was raised by wolves. From a young child, they turned her into a hunter and fighter. These were not ordinary wolves, however, but subjects and worshippers of their bound god, Fenrir. They worshipped Fenrir and his siblings, Jormungandr and Hel, as the great trinity that will be deemed the true heroes of Ragnarok.

Some day, Fenrir descended, evidently having broken free from his prison. He and his siblings, Jormungandr and Hel, also released, wished to meet this human who had been raised by his followers of chaos. He found intrigue that one who had been born from humans, agents of order, could be easily integrated into the dominions of chaos, and he wanted to see how far she could be pushed.

He gave her various trials, and as a reward for these trials, he and his siblings granted her power.

Personality:
Having been raised without the influence of humanity, Hrodvitnir is a feral hunter by nature. She is not street smart, but she has enough quick learning and adaptability to graduate from the 'I can't read or count' category.

This wild child isn't the stereotypical dumb one, oh no. As a predator hunting her prey, smarts are a necessity, and something she's grown to have. She's grown to become patient and wary of her surroundings, keeping an eye on everything while possessing the ability to tolerate the long amount of time. For first impressions, she doesn't see people as friends, only predator and prey, and for the record, believing that she is a wolf means that she doesn't believe it's cannibalism.

Power/Arsenal:
Hrodvitnir possesses a great range of abilities.

Vast Strength - Inheriting the power of Fenrir and Jormungandr, she would naturally inherent their vast strength and durabilty.

Enhanced Senses - All five senses are greatly enhanced, allowing her to sense things easily, like an animal.

Child of Fenrir - Hrodvitnir will deal many times more damage to any sun or moon-based deities or beings, thanks to channeling the attributes and fates of Fenrir's children, Skoll and Hati. Figures representing aspects of this such as droughts, harvest and tides will be affected, to a lesser extent.

The Fetters - Hrodvitnir will chain herself with the fetters of Fenrir, which can be used in battle like chainwhips. When one is broken, another stronger version will arise.

Lycoan Breath - Able to spew flames and ice from her mouth.

Ouroboros Destiny - channeling the power of Jormungandr and the aspects of Hel, Hrodvitnir can revive herself from death.

Ouroboros Wheel - channeling the power of Jormungandr, she can launch strange wheel-like projectiles that when striking their target, will trap their mind in a loop that can only be broken out of through sheer willpower.

Unliftable - When she is physically lifted, she can channel the power of Jormungandr to make herself unliftable. However, she will essentially turn herself into an indestructable, unmoving statue.

Undeath Claws - channeling the power of Hel, she can unleash a power that quickly rots anything she slashes at. Divine empowerment weakens this, and healing capabilities can counter this. The more rot one has, the more one can be considered undead. The power of Hel prevents her from being affected by similar abilities.

Poison Claws - channeling the power of Jormungandr, she can unleash a power that sends paralyzing poison through one's body. Divine empowerment weakens this, and healing capabilities can counter this. The more poison one has, the more one will be less likely to move. The power of Jormungandr prevents her from being affected by similar abilities.

"I'll be the one to bring a new era of humanity!"

Name: Urato Sen

Age: 37

Sex: Male

Appearance:

Spoiler

918172841069dc5b07d58e4e9fc8480e3ad7b39e

Height: 6'0"

Weight: 189 lbs

Biography:

Spoiler

The story of the man known as Urato Sen started off with a flash of light.  He could almost see it clearly in the womb, as electricity coursed throughout his mother's body.  In a freak accident, his mother had been struck by lightning, while with child, and miraculously survived.  He was delivered safely, shortly after the incident, premature, but healthy.  Sen was born to a family of practicing Samurai, dedicated to keeping the culture of Japan's past well and alive.  Not only did they keep it alive, but they honed their craft to be heights above any other sword wielder in history.  Sen didn't have a choice, but he was raised with the code of Bushido, and trained every waking moment with the sword.  His family were very prominent figures in Japanese politics as well, always making sure the history of their great island was hidden away by the progress Japan found itself being thrusted towards.  With such responsibility on his shoulders, Sen became a model son, and was soon enough a prodigy with the sword.  He was exceptional, prodigal even.  'A literal cut above even those in heaven', his father would boast.  However, something couldn't stop scratching at the back of his mind during his growth.

He was nothing but a façade.  A farce.  He would never stand in the same shoes as the warriors before him.  The other politicians during those parties laughed behind his father's back, sneering at the fact that they practiced such old fashioned ways.  They were nothing but clowns to the public.  They didn't know what this lifestyle entailed, thinking it only to be silly.  This was their past!  This made Japan what it was?  You dare laugh at true strength!?  In his late twenties, Sen brought his concerns to his father, who listened intently.  He could only sigh, wishing that what they were doing was more than just preserving Japan's ancient traditions.  In a different world, in a different time, their family would surely have led Japan to glory.  Now it was stuck as a consumerist paradise, where the young worked themselves to death with no sense of honor, or worth.  His father must have felt the same way at his age too...but Sen had a feeling that he could change everything.  He hadn't told anyone, not even his father, but he had been blessed from the beginning with incredible powers.

To seek a firm resolution for his plans of the future, Ichizo sailed out onto the open ocean when he turned 30.  He stayed there for some time, living off the sea, in search of something, in search of someone.  The day finally came, where a storm that could only be considered divine approached him and his small vessel.  If he was to do the unthinkable, there was a test he had to pass here and now.  He took a deep breath, and honed his senses.  The world around him remained still, running in slow motion.  From the heavens, a bolt of lightning descended upon his ship.  Ichizo, with a quick draw of his blade, cut the lightning bolt in half, sending both halves into the ocean beside his ship.  It had been like cutting butter for his bread in the morning.  Another bolt impossibly targeted the same spot.  Without so much as time to blink, Ichizo instinctively had his blade meet the stroke of electricity to slice it down once again, but this time met a resistance he had never felt before in his life.  His arms began to buckle, as he held back the lightning with all of his might.  His ship sank into the waves, but he had planted himself firm, his weight distributed so perfectly that the floor below didn't budge an inch.  However, after a time, it began to splinter, but Sen persisted.

The blinding light above had faded, and when his eyes adjusted, saw what had met his blade; A smiling man, with his own blade in hand.

"Well I'll be."  The man, with a slight bead of sweat dripping down his forehead, seemed to sigh with glee.  The man descended onto Sen's ship, as the two let their guard down.  He hadn't realized until then, but Sen had been holding in his breath the whole time, letting it out with a heavy wheeze.  He trembled to his knees, and looked upon the stranger.  The man introduced himself as Susanoo, Shinto god of Sea and Storms.  Sen, practicing ancient Japanese tradition for so long, had followed closely to Shinto practices, and bowed his head immediately.  Susanoo went on to tell Sen that he had been chosen long ago to be the one to bring upon a new age of the land of the rising sun.  But to do that, he would have to wield extraordinary power.  Susanoo had bestowed upon him divine strength in order to do just that, while he was yet to be born.  However, if the world was to follow suit, he would have to participate in the Ragnarok Rumble, and win it all for Susanoo and the other Shinto gods.

With new resolve and purpose, Sen accepted Susanoo's offer, and became his representative in the upcoming Ragnarok Rumble.

Personality:

Spoiler

Although Sen might seem stoic to most, he is deeply passionate about the things he loves.  He could spend hours talking about ancient history, or swordsmanship, but his guiltiest pleasures happen to be that of Mecha Anime.  He feels melancholy at the fact that if he ever had a hold of Japan's future, he wouldn't be able to watch such things anymore.  His eyes are sharp, and he's incredibly observant.  Coming from a political family, he is very well mannered and well spoken.  He doesn't show respect, unless given such first, but that happens to get him into more trouble than not.  He also tends to love instructing those he thinks less of, to raise them to a level higher than they thought impossible to reach.

Even though he is kind natured at heart, he wouldn't let anything get in the way of his dreams of uniting Japan, and the world, under his leadership.

Powers/Arsenal:

Spoiler

Weather Manipulation: Can create storms on a whim.

Lightning Generation: Sen can produce lightning from his body, often using it to enhance his physical capabilities, but also using it as a form of ranged combat.  He can shoot bolts of lightning, and control their shape until the point he unleashes it.

Superhuman Physicality: With speed as his most defining trait, Sen has found that he is able to reach massively Hypersonic speeds in combat and while travelling.  His physical strength is slightly above a peak condition human, but while being amped by his lightning, can reach superhuman levels of strength.  Doing this puts a strain on his muscles, so he prefers to use it in short bursts rather than prolonged encounters.

Ethereal Slash - With his vast speed, Sen can create spaces where his sword slashes numerous times in the blink of an eye in a 10 ft. area around him.

Yamato - A sword passed down throughout the generations of his family, supposedly forged by the joint efforts of both Muramasa and Masamune, it is an incredibly well made blade that has stood the test of time, and is said to be able to cut through 10 men straight, a feat yet to be demonstrated by those who wield it.

Kusunagi no Tsurugi - A blade, gifted to Sen by Susanoo.  He is only able to wield the blade while channeling the divine lightning of Susanoo.  The blade is said to be able to cut through anything, including reality itself, when held in capable hands, and is just as durable as it is destructive.  However, Sen would only draw the blade if given a worthy opponent.

Raijin Armor - Another gift from Susanoo.  Able to be called down with a strike of lightning at any moment, it is a suit of armor which enhances all of his abilities even further.  However, the longer he wears it, the longer he shortens his own mortal lifespan.

Height: 5'6"

Biography:

Spoiler

Once upon a time, in ancient Greece, a healthy baby girl was born. Much of the details of Timo's life have been lost to time, however, even fading from her own memory. The few scraps of info she's been able to remember after all this time don't really paint much of a picture either. The only things she remembers about her life anymore are the crimes against humanity she's committed, and the reason why she committed them. For an unforgivable offense that she no longer remembers, Timo made the city of ??? and all of its citizens her enemy. When the sun set upon ???, Timo would rise, cutting short the lives of any ???an she could get away with killing, from beggars to nobles and anything in between. When simply killing them no longer satisfied her desire for revenge, she began taking her time, letting the ???ans suffer for whatever it was they had done.

It was this new "slow burn" approach that proved her undoing, however, and the law soon caught up with Timo. She was promptly executed, and vengeful serial killer she had been, Timo's soul was sent straight to Tartarus upon arrival, where the vile souls of those who led wicked lives belonged. The sentence of Lord Hades? For her indiscriminate and hateful killings, Timo was herself to be killed. Over and over again, for the rest of time. With each death, one happy memory was to be taken away from her, until no such things were left. Even after all this time, however, Timo has always been one of the more rebellious wretches of Tartarus, and witnesses to the act will attest to one instance where she had the gall to dig her teeth into the flesh of Thanatos who was passing by.

Recently, however, circumstances have changed. The Ragnarok Rumble is approaching, and there are things in that tournament that should by all means be in the realm of the dead. Hades, not taking too kindly to such things being among the living, sought a champion. One with nothing to lose, but so very much to gain; one who would fight tooth and nail to kill her targets, if nothing else. When brought to the House of Hades to be offered the job, Timo's first course of action was to assault Hades himself before he even started talking. On the second attempt, this time restraining her considerably and sedating her with the aid of Hypnos, Timo calmed down long enough to hear Hades out.

"I have no interest in winning the Ragnarok Rumble. However, there are those registered within the tournament that must be slain and brought to my realm, and regulations prevent Thanatos from simply striking them down. See to their death, and I shall revise your contract. Your memories will be returned to you, and you will be moved away from Tartarus and into Asphodel, in addition to whatever wish you make. You may even wish to be resurrected if you so desire! That is my offer, girl."

"Accepted."

Personality:

Spoiler

Timo is decidedly not a people person. Because of untold centuries of torture in Tartarus, no happy memories are left in her head, leaving only the ones that fill her with anger, hate, fear, and despair. And because of the chance that she might fail her task and be sent right back to Tartarus, Timo isn't looking to make any new happy memories either. Her objective is to find and kill the person Hades has employed her to kill, and nothing else. In this sense, one should consider her less of a person and more of a weapon made from sheer concentrated rage and vengeance.

Underneath these roiling emotions, however, Timo still exists, but she can't remember any of her hobbies or what she likes. She was never much of a conversationalist, keeping her remarks and answers to as few words as possible. She believes that despite this laconic nature, she was an extrovert in life, since none of her bad memories involve a fear of talking to others. She'll speak her mind without hesitating, and ever since accepting the job offer from Hades, Timo has observed that she feels significantly more at ease with a weapon in her hand.

Curiously, when using facilities that are divided between men and women, Timo habitually tries to use the mens' room.

Powers/Equipment:

Spoiler

Numbed to Pain: Timo's endless cycle of death and rebirth in Tartarus has rendered her so used to pain that she simply doesn't feel it anymore. Combined with not being alive to begin with, this makes Timo very hard to kill.

Cover of Night: A blessing from Nyx, whose children Thanatos and the Fates support Timo's mission. Makes her impossible to track through magical or technological means, and further allows her to briefly turn fully invisible. Additionally grants her night vision.

Cthonic Flame: The fires of the underworld, over which Timo has been granted a small amount of power. While she can't use this fire for the classic tactic of slinging fireballs at her enemies, she can briefly create small constructs out of this fire or engulf herself in it to enhance her own attributes.

Prototype Multi-Arm: An underworld marvel commissioned by Hades himself, built by the great inventor Daedalus. Or rather, the prototype for one; the final product is in the care of Achilles. The multi-arm is a weapon able to turn into whatever type of weapon the wielder desires. The prototype has some flaws, however. It cannot create ammo for ranged weapons, and it can't stay in any one form for very long, forcing the wielder to constantly change their tactics and fighting style on the fly.

On Flaming Wings, the Revolution Soars!

"Every shrine, every scripture! I'll burn it all to the ground so humanity can rise anew!"
Name: Icarus
Age: Technically in the ballpark of 3000-4000 years old, but biologically about 19.
Represented God: Prometheus
Appearance:

Height: 5'10"

Weight: 147 lbs

Biography:

lmao

Luckily, there was a step that the stories didn't cover. The Titan Prometheus, recently freed from his imprisonment by the hero Heracles, saw the falling Icarus, and rather than taking pity on him, like many would, he was impressed. To see a mere mortal try to fly high enough to match the Gods, to match Zeus, was exactly what Prometheus had hoped for in his creation of Mankind. He caught the falling Icarus, and used the Primordial Flame to grant him biological immortality. As the millennia passed, Icarus honed his talents, participating in rebellions and heists the world over. Prometheus had him sit out the previous few rumbles, so as to practice for the greatest revolution of all.

Personality:

Trickster. Rebel. Thief. If there is an institution, Icarus aims to burn it down. As he sees it, they are all just attempts to subjugate and enslave mankind. In fact, he isn't representing the Greek Pantheon. Instead, per Prometheus's own recommendation, he represents agnosticism. To free everyone from every shackle is all he wants, no matter how much comfort those shackles may provide. No matter how much he has to lie to get there.
