Pokemon Saph/Ruby are incredible entries.

Mother 3 is genre defining and iconic so... soz rubes.

Going for Ruby/Sapphire on this one. Sapphire was the first Pokemon game I owned and finished, so I cherish Generation III in a unique way. It would haven been perfect if it had introduced the physical/special damage split though. For so long I thought Crunch was Atk-based and that Shadow Ball was Special and thus not taking advantage of Banette's high Atk, haha.
As for Mother 3... I didn't know it even had an international release. Haven't played the Mother series although I am aware of their praise and popularity.
