Nine couldn't help but smile at the chaos that was moving about the home life here, and graciously sat down alongside Lok and Gwen's sisters. As Lok began describing his adventure, Nine was curious to hear it too, as he hadn't been there for the start of both Gwen and Lok's adventures. All the same, they eventually got to the part in Adarid, where Nine was able to tell something was off with Lok. Well, something had always been off since coming here, but this felt different and, quite frankly, more obvious. Still, picking up without skipping a beat, Nine said, "well, it's as he said. We had to fight this crazy Xatu and after a bit, we all got together once more and had to deal with gang wars!"

With a smile on his face Nine said, "the gangs of Adarid are a bit nasty, but with quick thinking and feet we managed to evade getting into too big a tussle with a nasty Honchkrow and Nidoking. But, after that was done, we decided to continue our journey. We briefly left Adarid but," electing not to tell of the more somber trip to Juyu he said, "well, we decided to turn back and go through there again. However, this time it looked like the king of Adarid had decided to step up and start enforcing his rule more. It was a bit dicey there, and it seemed like the police were more strict and scrutinizing so we had to be cautious. Of course, no guard  could match the Zebstrika we met there." While Nine started reminiscing about the fight, all he said was, "well, he was a powerful man that seemed to be bent on finding a legend himself. He was causing a ruckus in the arena, apparently fighting everyone there, and so we had to put a stop to his rampage. It was tough fight for sure, but in the end we managed to put a stop to him, and I like to think we made friends before we parted ways."

Nine chuckled to himself at this, but left the story hanging to see if Lok wanted to pick up from there or if the girls had any questions.

"Fiiiight meeeeee!"

Nani turned her attention to the top of the volcano, where there was a man screaming out his challenges for others to fight him. That must have been the big man himself, Heatran. The kids would go fight him once they found the chance, Trevor said, and if she could, Nani would like to prevent them from doing that. Heatran didn't look like the type to easy on someone just because they were young. Speaking of young though, Marie seemed to be in trouble. It wasn't long, but at least Nani got to sit down and not be in the fight for a bit. An idea appeared.

"Do you know any moves to fight with?" Nani asked.

"I guess." Trevor answered with hesitation.

"Can you show me? Like something to use against..." pointing at the Manectric, Nani specified "that guy."

He shook his head. "I'm n-not stepping in."

"No I know. You don't have to; that's why I'm asking. I'll just memorize it and use it real quick is all, and you can stay back and comfy."

"If I use an attack I-I'm joining in. I-I can't just do it w-without getting a-attention."

"Fine, I'll figure something out myself." Nani turned her attention back to the fray. And then she was gone, jumping right into Trevor's shadow. And then she was back, jumping out from the Manectric's shadow. And then she swung to punch him in the stupid face. At least she was able to get into the fight quickly, now that she was going back into it.

Team Alola, Day 27, Trailsau

The Darmanitan, defense weakened after his attack, was slammed into the ground by Randy's attack. Even down on the ground he tried to fight back. Body enveloping in fire as he charged upwards.

Randy could see a few other Gijinka gathering around. Soon even more Gijinka were going to be pulled into the fray.

The Manectric recoiled as Nani appeared out of nowhere to hit him. He gave a grin and opened his mouth to chomp down on her with an electrical bite.

Meanwhile Keanu was hit by a fist to the chest but not before letting loose an electrical blast into the Gurdurr that hit him.

Overall the fight continued to rage. And all the while, out of sight, two small Larvitar children were scaling a volcano. Both with their eyes set at the top where Heatran waited.

Team Showdown, Day 30, Southshore Forest

"You're changin' too...finally defrostin' a bit?  fufufu."

"Ha. Because ice. Funny." Isole said flatly. She looked between the three others standing before her. "So I guess it's time to go? We don't have any more 'fun' talks right?"

Zygarde stretched. "I should get prepared. It sounds like it won't be long before the call to arms starts." She grunted. "I'm sure he has somewhere else to send you." Looking towards Taiga she finished "Don't be afraid to tell him to shove it."

---

It wasn't until the three returned to the surface that they realized they didn't know how they were supposed to get back. It wasn't until Isole, not thinking it'd actually help, "Hey. Dragon guy. We did that thing."

And then the wind whipped up around them and they felt themselves pulled up, up, until they were deposited once more into Rayquaza's throne room. It was the same as ever, with Magearna nearby, except now Groudon was also in the room. Standing near him, looking exceedingly annoyed, was a tall woman with seals covering her mouth.

"Where is Zygarde?" Rayquaza asked. "What happened down there?"

Team Karaoke, Day 37, Alpha

"Wow, that's amazing." Both Blair and Sabrina said, moving in closer to both of the boys.

"When did you get so strong, Lok?" Sabrina asked, putting a hand on the boy's chest.

"You must have fought a lot of people haven't you?" Blair followed up, taking hold of Nine's arm.

"You guys are way too cool to be hanging out with our sister." They both said.

The two looked at each other, then the boys, and began giggling.

And that's when the front door opened.

A Dusknoir came in, with a Pressure radiating from him, and paused in the doorway. He stared at the couch. The girls. Then the boys. "You have 10 seconds to explain what you are doing here." He said ominously.

"Hi papa!" The twins said excitedly. "Welcome home!"

Team Mac, Day 23, Ogren

"Mac's just exaggerating, right Ari?"

Before Ari could respond Mac cut him off. "Not at all!" She looked at Kazo with a mischievous look in her eyes. "There was the Milotic in Southshore, that ghost girl, the princess and her guardian in Weynon, I think even that Snorlax's wife called him cute too. You should be careful, miss, otherwise he'll be sure to charm the girls here too!"

She glanced up at the sun and sighed. "It's almost time for us to go isn't it? You guys all ready for it? Unless....hey Miss...Kazo's mom, do you have anything fancy for these two to wear? I can't let my lackeys make me look bad after all." She had to suppress the giggle fit that threatened to spill out as she said this.

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 33, They Sad Cause They In A Bowl

As the group left with their escorts the king pulled Dora in for a hug. "Are you sure you want to go now?" He said to her and felt as the girl gave a nod. The lack of words made him realize she was worried and so when he stood he placed his hand on her shoulder. "Come now, let us go. Amatheia will be so happy to see you."

-----

The prison, it turned out, was a very long way down. They didn't take a staircase but instead were lowered in what was essentially a cage for several minutes. From there they entered a cavern and into a tunnel which was guarded by a pair of Corphish guards. They would go along two more checkpoints, stone slabs that had to be slid open by more guards who only opened when the soldiers with the group gave the clear, until they reached a long row of cells.

From what they could see all of the cells were entirely empty. Still well kept but barren of any form of life. The soldiers, who each walked close behind their charge, ushered them forward and towards the end of the hall. To the right was a rare steel door and in front of them yet another cell.

This one, had a single occupant.

He was chained by the neck to the far wall and his cell had no cot to speak of. Simply a pile of seaweed off to the side. His right arm seemed to be massive but it was wrapped in some sort of cloth with chains around it. The man sad cross-legged as the group approached and, even as they walked close enough that there was no way he couldn't notice, didn't budge.

His eyes were closed and his breathing steady. The soldiers stayed back and watched from afar.

"You are not from here. What reason do you have to come to this place." The man asked.

Ow, that bite hurt. Even if there was the distinct barrier Mimikyus had to eat up the one attack, she still felt hits, and had to admit, she wasn't used to electricity running into her body like that. Maybe he knew she wasn't a Pikachu after all. Whatever was up, there was now Marie and herself fighting this Manectric, whose teeth were lodged into Nani's arm. Having just dealt with cannibals a few days ago didn't make this any more comfortable.

Tempting as it was to bite him back, that didn't feel like a really good course of action. Instead, she brought up her other arm, swinging it at her new foe's face with a nice pink wrapping.

Marie slowly started to bring herself up off the ground, looking at the Manetric that had been pretty one-sidedly beating her down. Wanting to make sure that he certainly learned his lesson, Marie was definitely going to go for a follow up attack. However, she realized that she was given this small reprieve because Nani had briefly engaged the man in combat. As the two seemed to exchange blows with each other, Marie was about to go for an attack, when suddenly a burst of flame seemed to come from behind her.

The blast didn't seemed to be aimed at anyone in particular, but with Marie having just the worst luck, she was struck with the flames and knocked back down. Seeing the nearly literal smoking gun of a Magmortar's arm, the man seemed to look at her and say, "whoops," in a clearly mocking tone. Getting a closer look at her, the Magmortar said, "oh, well, I think you're a bit lost here little girl, why don't you just -"
"Whoops?!" Marie was practically growling as she stood back up, her annoyed expression almost looking a bit crazed due to the injures she had sustained and how messy and frizzy her hair was now. "I'll show you whoops!" The Magmortar merely scoffed at her as he pointed his flamethrower arm at her, ready to fire yet another blast with all the confidence in the world. Marie, however, being quite worked up already, with both her necklace shimmer and her torrent aura glowing around her fired off a much more powerful water gun than she had any time prior to this moment. The Magmortar was clearly shaken by this, as the Brionne began walking towards him. Firing yet another water gun at the Magmortar, who attempted to simply respond with a flame burst himself, Marie's seemed to barely overpower the two as she continued her march forward. Glaring at him, she shouted "how's that for whoops?! Now apologize and leave!" Looking at the other gijinka coming in to fight, the girl shouted, "yeah all of you! You better all be sorry or else!"

ZzcS3Rf.png

Nine didn't seem to mind one way or another as the twins got more clingy to the both of them, but looked to Blair saying, "well, not by my own choice at least." As the twins said their note on Gwen, Nine merely said, "well, it's not like I've done all my fighting alone anyway. So, -" before the Houndoom could finish, though, someone had entered the door. As Nine suddenly felt the room grow much heavier, he looked to the Dusknoir who walked in, then as he made his ominous threat Nine looked at the girls and Lok, and then back to the man. A strange sense of nostalgia washed over Nine as he had thought it had been awhile since this last happened. Or at least a month.

"Hello there, sir," Nine's voice seemed to try and maintain a casual air to it as he said, "we came here with your other daughter, Gwendoline, but she's currently busy helping out in there," he motioned to the kitchen. "So, we've just been keeping them company for the time being." Though Nine seemed to be calm on the outside, he was far from it on the inside. After all, there were few forces scarier to the man then a protective father.

Randy knew his Darkest Lariat would more than likely knock the Darmanitan for a loop...so that was a good thing. But he didn't expect the gijinka to end up having his body envelop in fire as he charged upwards at him. There wasn't any time on this one, as Randy blocked with his arms but was knocked back some by the Darmanitan's fiery strike. It didn't do much...but still...

"H-Heh...not a bad strike...but that could've been better." Randy chuckled, glancing over and noticing a sight that actually was making him proud.

"How's that for whoops?! Now apologize and leave! Yeah all of you! You better all be sorry or else!"

He was still extremely upset at Marie for just rushing into this whole scenario head first, something that he did but was berated for afterwards. However, seeing this side of Marie and seeing how much of the fighting she was already doing...it just made the Incineroar extremely happy and giddy all at the same time.

"Marie! Don't let them scare ya! You're doing a hell of a job!!" Randy laughed, giving her a smile and a thumbs up. "I'm really proud!!" With that out of the way, he turned back to the Darmanitan and rushed towards him again, this time giving him a combination move of Brick Break and Acrobatics. This should've definitely done it by now. But then again...something else came to his mind...

"...OI!!! Trevor! Shouldn't you be at least looking for the kids??" he shouted back at the Flygon. "You saw who popped his head out of the volcano, so...GET TO LOOKIN'!!"

Team Showdown - Southshore Forest/Sky Temple

"I should get prepared. It sounds like it won't be long before the call to arms starts.  I'm sure he has somewhere else to send you." Looking towards Taiga she finished "Don't be afraid to tell him to shove it."

Taiga winked at the legend, giving her a thumbs up and a vigorous,

"Fufu!"

As the squad left the underground lair, Isole managed to get them whisked away back to the hall where Rayquaza resided.  It took her a moment to recoil from all the wind that brought them here, but she was sure that the jolly green ass looked at them with those sharp eyes of his.  She could feel them staring daggers into the team, without Zygarde in tow.  Beside Rayquaza were both Magearna and Groudon, but a new addition stood there.  With her blue clothing, and incredible similar markings as both Rayquaza and Groudon, that could only mean one thing.

"Where is Zygarde?" Rayquaza asked. "What happened down there?"

Ignoring Rayquaza's immediate question, Taiga stared at the legend she had all but confirmed was Kyogre.  Her fists quivered, and she could feel all the excitement welled up in her.  There was only one thing on her mind.

"KY-KY-KY-KY-"  Taiga used both hands to smack her cheeks in rapid succession, snapping herself out of her stammering, "KYOGRE!  GIVE ME YOUR TREASURE!!!!  I've been looking for it ever since I heard the legends!!!  I'm a huge fan!"  She smacked her mouth shut at the utterance of her deepest secret.  The woman stepped back, as her eyes widened in shock.  She gave a look towards Rayquaza, who returned it with a shrug.  She started to approach Taiga, looming over her with her sheer size and stature.  She leaned over into Taiga, and spoke into the thing covering her mouth.  It muffled whatever she was saying, so Taiga couldn't understand.  If she hadn't been so nervous, Taiga would've ripped the thing from her mouth.  However, Taiga almost couldn't speak from the sheer pressure of the girl's presence.

"Uhm...E-excuse me...but could you say that again?  I couldn't understand ya...fu..."

The woman's eyes got darker, looking rather annoyed.  She pointed to Taiga's mouth, and then traced a question mark in the air.  It didn't seem like the woman was able to talk freely, so Taiga guessed that she was questioning her question.

"Well...you see...Gijinka told me a long time ago that there was a big pile of treasure hidden in the sea, guarded by you!  And whoever beat you got all the treasure of a thousand sunken pirate ships for themselves!  You're like...the pirate holy grail!  And I'm the holy grail of pirates!!"  The woman raised her arms, looking to the other legends for help, as the spark in Taiga's eyes faded bit by bit.  However, Groudon spoke up.

"Excuse my sister.  She's an idiot.  I don't know if there is or isn't any treasure but...Kyogre wouldn't know if there was.  She doesn't...understand what most people would call treasure."  At the revelation, Taiga reached into her pockets to grab a single Poke.  She presented it to Kyogre with a fanatical look.

"Like this!  Somethin' shiny!  Anythin'!"  The woman reached out for the coin, as she watched the light dance off of it.  She seemed to trace the light and the metal.  Sticking it back out, she nodded.  The light in Taiga's eyes welled back up, as she fell down to her knees.  "Thank goodness...I'll keep looking...I'll find it..."  Taiga was then shaken by the sound of the poke hitting against the floor.  Kyogre had done away with it like it meant nothing.  "Yeah...suppose that's what you'd do huh...I figured you didn't care...fufufu..."  The Kyogre tilted her head at the display.  She looked towards the coin on the ground, and then pointed to Taiga's heart.  Taiga didn't know why, but something tugged on her chest.  Growing up alone...living life not knowing if you were going to survive the day...coins were the only thing that could get her through to the next morning with a somewhat full stomach.  "Yeah...they mean a lot to me...with that stuff...I can live my life the way I want...the more I have, the better it can be, right?"

The legend looked down to Taiga, and then to the coin.  She walked over to it, and picked it up, bringing it back as she held it out towards Taiga.  Taiga looked up at Kyogre, with watery eyes.  It was like Kyogre was giving her a piece of the treasure already, in a way.  Rayquaza sighed, as Kyogre turned back to stare at him, letting out a weird noise against the thing against her mouth.  Taiga laughed at the display, wiping a tear from her eye.

"You said it, sis!  Fufufufu!"  Taiga shakily rose back to her feet, placing her fists on her hips.  She cleared her throat, and turned her attention towards Rayquaza.  "Zygarde says she'll join the mission...but she doesn't wanna hang here around you, your highness."  She made sure to make the highness sound as snarky as possible.  Rayquaza groaned at that.

"She's still upset about that?  Well good work in any case.  She's a bit stubborn, but she'll be of help."  Taiga blushed at the fact that Rayquaza actually said something positive.  Now probably wasn't a good time to tell him to shove it.  Taiga scratched her cheek in embarrassment.

"W-w-w-well yeah!  My work's always good!  Geez..."  Taiga then remembered something important.  "If you didn't know by now, we were attacked by a god slayer...A Crobat...and a strong one at that.  Figured you'd might wanna know..."

Alpha Team Karaoke

Lok's face got slightly red as the girl put her hand on his chest, chuckling a bit. "Well... I wouldn't quite say that much... Gwen is-" Before he could say anything else, though, a familiar figure walked into the room. Lok nearly jumped out of the couch as Gwen's father entered the room. Lok let out a chuckle, standing up from the couch slowly, and almost immediately got on one knee. As Nine finished, Lok continued.

"It-It is as he says, sir." He simply said, raising his head to face the Dusknoir. He never did get used to the immense pressure that the man seemed to impose around him. Lok's eyes glanced over to Nine, before returning to the man. "We are just waiting out here for miss Gwendoline to come out." He nervously said, his head bowing back down.

Sky Temple Team Showdown

It seemed that Taiga had a much better time trying to get Zygarde on their team, coming to a conclusion that felt satisfying. Scarlet was tempted to turn around and try to drag Zygarde with them, but at this point she was just about done with her. As they headed out, they somehow got whisked away from Isole's off hand remark. Scarlet staggered a bit when they finally landed back at the palace. Rayquaza looked as pleased as ever to see them - which was to say, he seemed annoyed by the lack of Zygarde with them. Even Groudon was in the room, alongside another Legendary. Scarlet didn't really care; at this point, the last thing she wanted to do was interact with one of these hot headed idiots. She was just about to storm out towards her room, when suddenly...

"KYOGRE!  GIVE ME YOUR TREASURE!!!!  I've been looking for it ever since I heard the legends!!!  I'm a huge fan!" Taiga started gushing over Kyogre, Scarlet's mood turning for the better as she saw Taiga start getting so excited over the legend she was chasing. She decided to stick around to hear the two talk, letting out a sigh.

Eventually, after much gushing and shenanigans, the conversation returned to be about Zygarde. Scarlet's mood almost immediately soured, although Rayquaza said something that was actually positive towards them. Scarlet tried her hardest not to roll her eyes as she crossed her arms. Taiga brought up Veronica attacking them, Scarlet nodding as she spoke.

"She gave us and Zygarde a run for our money back there." Scarlet said coldly, still annoyed with how things turned out before. "I can only imagine how powerful those bastards are when they are together." She shook her head, stretching her arms. She was still feeling a bit worn down even after the rest at Zygardes. "Whatever it is exactly we're doing, we should do it fast."

"So, what's the next mission?" She was more determined than ever to stop these Godslayers. The sooner they did this, the sooner everything could go back to the way it was.

"I... w-well, okay, maybe you're not wrong about Melody...," He muttered, turning red at the memory of the kiss the Milotic gave him on his cheek. "B-but everyone else isn't true at all!" Seriously, Mac was painting him as this heart breaker or something. Kazo's mom did nothing but chuckle a little at the antics of the group.

She glanced up at the sun and sighed. "It's almost time for us to go isn't it? You guys all ready for it? Unless....hey Miss...Kazo's mom, do you have anything fancy for these two to wear? I can't let my lackeys make me look bad after all." Trish looked over the group, rubbing her chin.

"Well, I know I have things that could fit the little gentleman there," She said, motioning to Ari. "Actually, it's some of Kaz's old clothes, come to think of it. Maybe I should just give you some of those so he can wear them," She looked over to Kazo. "I... don't have anything for Kazzy. He's a lot taller than when he was a kid, and most anyone on my side of the family,"

Denku couldn't believe the levels of security this prison had. It had cages, checkpoints, the whole nine yards. He supposed that this man was really dangerous or something... but all this security almost made him think even a Godslayer couldn't escape.

Almost.

The sole occupant didn't seem that powerful, but at this point, Denku knew looks could be deceiving. Still, he looked mighty uncomfortable in those chains. No cot to sleep at either.

"You are not from here. What reason do you have to come to this place." The man asked, not even opening his eyes. Denku crouched down right by the bars, making himself level with the man before he spoke.

"The short answer is Dora," Denku said bluntly. "The long answer is that after you lost Dora, my Emboar friend here, Brooke, found her and took care of her. We all met up by chance and are quite fond of Dora, which means I'm pretty sure all three of us have the same questions for you, since Dora herself is an unreliable source of info," He stared the man right in his closed eyes. "Why did you kidnap Dora? Dora says her mother told you to take her to the surface,  and then 'stuff happened'. He then paused. "What exactly happened? What's going on?"

Team Alola, Day 27, Trailsau

While the fight was continuing it seemed to have more gaps than before. Chances to get away from the fighting. But those still in the fight continued to press on regardless. In a frantic, animalistic, way. Though while they were violent and fierce they also didn't seem to be actually angry, or ruthless, in their fighting.

"You saw who popped his head out of the volcano, so...GET TO LOOKIN'!!"

The fighting suddenly stopped. As those in the area looked at Randy. Then Trevor. And back to Randy. An unusually heavy silence followed. Trevor looked at the Incineroar for a few moments. "Okay." He said and walked through the middle of the impromptu battlefield. "I just thought that's what you were here for."

The moment he cleared the combat area the fight went on once again just as fierce as it had before.

Team Karaoke, Day 37, Alpha

"So, we've just been keeping them company for the time being."

"We are just waiting out here for miss Gwendoline to come out.

"So Bryna left our daughters with the prankster troublemaker and...this stranger?" The man moved closer and grabbed Nine by the collar of his shirt. Pulled him closer. "I've seen your type before. I don't have much patience for your kind of 'man'. So if you don't want to end up a smear on my wall you'd better convince me why I should let you go?"

He then looked over at Lok. "And you. You know what you did last time you were here. What makes you so confident in coming here? In sitting on my couch in my home with my children?"

Team Showdown, Day 30, Rayquaza's Pad

"If you didn't know by now, we were attacked by a god slayer...A Crobat...and a strong one at that.  Figured you'd might wanna know..."

"I can only imagine how powerful those bastards are when they are together. Whatever it is exactly we're doing, we should do it fast."

Rayquaza nodded. "There's more of them than we know. But we can't stop now. No matter how many there are we can win...Don't roll your eyes at me!" Rayquaza said to Kyogre.

"Easy to say for someone who won't be there." Groudon said.

Rayquaza let out a groan and rubbed his temples.

"So, what's the next mission?"

Rayquaza nodded. "Good, someone who knows what's important. We have word that someone has...woken up, in Oasis. He isn't stubborn in the same way Zygarde, or Groudon was."

Groudon crossed his arms without saying a word and Kyogre made a muffled laugh.

"However I don't imagine he'll just join us without convincing. I know he's willing to fight but...Landorus and his kin are most capricious."

"My lord, do you think this wise? We have the others now. Surely they can convince..."

Rayquaza held his hand up and Magearna went silent. "He may be capricious but he loves people. Mortals. They have a better chance than us."

"Oh come on come on you all are so serious." Celebi floated into the room. "They just got back. Why don't we let them relax a little before sending them out?"

"Celebi, we've been over this. We don't have much time."

"Don't you talk to me about time young man." Celebi said, laughing. "We have enough time for a little relaxation. Trust me."

Isole let out a sigh and poked Taiga and Scarlet. "I'm tired." Was all she said. And clearly reluctantly.

Team Mac, Day 23, Ogren

"Actually, it's some of Kaz's old clothes, come to think of it. Maybe I should just give you some of those so he can wear them,"

"Isn't that nice, Ari? You get hand-me-downs." Mac gave a short laugh. "That's fine, Miss Kazo's Mom, I suppose he gets enough attention when he's dressed like he is anyway." It was clear that Mac was unable to keep from laughing as snorts and giggles kept coming out from her as they followed the Tyranitar back to their home. "So..." Mac asked. "You lived here for a while then? What's it like here? Bet it's boring." She said it off-offhandedly but she also glanced over at Kazo when saying it.

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 33, Nobody Beat Us Fry Us and Eat Us In Fricassee

Gisei's eyes opened and he finally looked around at the group that had come to him. "I see." Was his only response at first. "That's not your only purpose but, for now, it is a purpose I will accept. You heard what the king said I am sure. I am a criminal. I've failed in my duties."

He looked at Brooke directly. Making eye contact without wavering. "It was not my first failure." He glanced over towards the soldiers that were just out of earshot. "Dora's mother is sick. Her father has grown more protective. She...has always been curious about the outside world. But there would be no way her father would let her see the rest of the world. Dora's mother...did not want that. So she asked me to bring Dora to the surface and keep her safe."

"When we reached the surface we were attacked. I was...unused to fighting up there and there were many of them. I only remember waking up, face in the ground, in front of the king."

He frowned. "He's not going to let her leave again you know."

---

Dora was kneeling at the bedside of a frail, but still beautiful, Milotic. "H-hey mama." Dora said, placing her chin on top of the sheets and next to the woman. While her father stood in the doorway, looking on.

The woman was breathing gently and, when Dora spoke, stirred. She turned her head to the side and slowly opened her eyes. "Dora? What are you doing here?"

"I came here with my friends! We have important stuff to do! But...I wanted to see you mama. I still  haven't found out how to make you not sick but I know it's out there."

"Oh, Dora, you don't need to do that." The woman said weakly. "I'm glad to see you, you've gotten so big. You're such a good girl, dear."

The king's voice hesitantly broke through. "What do you mean 'important stuff'?"

Apparently his yelling to Trevor was actually stopping the fight for a good bit of time...which actually surprised the Incineroar.

"Okay. I just thought that's what you were here for."

Was this guy getting snippy with him? Once the Flygon started moving, the battle continued...Randy needed to "explain" this situation to the kid. "OH! I'm sorry! We'd do that...BUT WE'RE A LITTLE BUSY HERE!!" he shouted back at Trevor, rolling his eyes. He isn't wrong though...we need to just go...otherwise I'll NEVER get my opportunity to challenge Heatran! he thought, grumbling slightly.

"Oi! Marie! Keanu! Nani! I'm going to see if I can blast us a path." he shouted to his friends. "When it's open, high-tail it after Trevor and maybe we can actually get back to what we're supposed to be doing here!"

When he had a moment, not being attacked by the Trailsau natives, he unleashed a Fire Blast to try and split the fighting mob down the middle to open a path...he just really hoped that would work...otherwise they'd be stuck fighting. He shook his head slightly. The one time he didn't want to just keep fighting...man, these roles for him and Marie were definitely switched up today, weren't they?

With Marie staring down the crowd of battle ready gijinka before her with a crazed look in her eyes, she heard Randy speak up to her, causing her attention to be pulled away from the battle until she then noticed the crowd had died down, both suddenly and abruptly. With the sudden calm taking over, the girl found herself being swept up in, her eyes following the same pattern as the crowd as she looked between Randy and Trevor. As the Flygon seemed to just walk through the crowd, the moment he was no longer in the battle zone, the crowd roared to life once more.

Marie seemed a bit dumbfounded, and something both Trevor and Randy had stuck with her. Trevor was right in saying that it was the reason they were here to begin with, not to just get into a random brawl with the locals. And Randy had praised her for her antics. Upon further reflection of both of these, Marie seemed to stare blankly at the crowd as she said,  "I've made a terrible mistake." Shaking herself out of it, she figured that it would likely be prudent to get moving and get out of the current brawl. As Randy had seemed to have the same idea, Marie shouted, "on it!"

Rushing into the crowd deeper, Marie shouted, "Trev- " however, before she could finish her sentence a Rhyperior stood in her path. Cracking its knuckles, looking down at the girl, Marie sighed. "Look I really don't want - " The Rhyperior raised its arm, bringing it down for one hammering blow. Seeing he wasn't intent on listening, Marie backed up a bit but was still knocked away from the force of the arm smashing into the ground. Stumbling as she was losing her footing, Marie tried to balance herself as the Rhyperior looked at her, slowly bringing its arm back up for yet another swing. Her brief calm momentarily broke as she shouted, "why are all of you so rude?!" Firing one blast of water after another, Marie's greatly empowered water guns kept blasting into the rock ground type, knocking them down and out. "Let someone finish speaking next time!"

Continuing to run forward, Marie eventually got sight of Trevor, catching up to him shouting, "Trevor! Trevor wait up, I'm coming with!"

Were Nine a man with any less control over himself, he likely would have squealed in fright as the Dusknoir grabbed onto his collar. Thankfully, he save himself that embarrassment, but still looked overall nervous. "Uhhh, " Nine seemed at a loss for words as he hurriedly spouted out, "I'm a friend of your daughters and she would be very sad if I was wall paste."

The man stared at Nine and grunted. "And how did you become friends with her? Did you threaten my girl?"

"No sir." Nine will state. "She was just in trouble fighting someone strong so I helped her out. From there we've just been traveling buddies...well, me, her and him." He gestured to Lok.

The man had let go of Nine and crossed his arms. "And you expect me to believe you didn't try anything?"

Nervous though he was, with a a small amount of hope in his voice said, "yes?"

The twins chimed in "She wouldn't let him!" The Dusknoir's eyes flashed.

Nine looked to the twins as if to ask why they would do this but, but it was obvious even without looking at them they were just enjoying this. Trying to plead his case to the protective father Nine just started stammering out, "well, I asked her on a date. Once. She said no. That was it. We're still cool and friends and I respect your daughter as a wonderful person."

The man hovered over to Nine and grabbed him by the shoulders. He seems larger than before somehow, more ominous, and Nine sees a swirling mass opening up in his stomach. Nine seemed frozen, though, quickly glanced to Lok, who was apparently a known troublemaker, as if asking for any help at all.

"GET TO LOOKIN'!!"

The fight stopped for a bit. Only long enough for Trevor to clear the area though, before everything went back into full swing. Nani had struck the Manectric, he bit her again. Marie was yelling at people to mind their manners and stuff. Randy was Randy. She wasn't quite sure where Keanu had gone though, having since lost track of him. Hopefully he was alright.

"Oi! Marie! Keanu! Nani! I'm going to see if I can blast us a path. When it's open, high-tail it after Trevor and maybe we can actually get back to what we're supposed to be doing here!"

"Got it!" Randy fired off his blast attack, and crowd-splitter or not, it was time to hustle. "Sorry, gotta go," she said to the Manectric, hurrying off in the wake of the Fire Blast. It was hot. As one should have expected. Not content with wasting time or standing right behind such a heat source though, Nani swerved to the side shortly after taking off, diving into the shadow of a rather beefy-looking Throh, and popping out from a shadow closer to the edge of the fray, giving the unfortunate Misdreavus a spooky kick to the face for good measure. Someone small like that probably shouldn't have been hanging out here. Must have been a Trailsau thing.

Lok let out a sigh of relief as the man's attention was focused on Nine instead of him. He was tempted to leave right then and there, as it would have been relatively easy with his abilities. If this happened a few days ago, he might have, but Lok had grown since he had left this town. He wasn't going to abandon Nine against their most terrifying foe. Lok's eyes met with Nines as he was practically frozen as the man's stomach opened up.

"H-Hey now, let's not get hasty!" Lok said, quickly stepping between Nine and Gwen's father. "I can assure you, sir, that nothing happened between him and Gwendoline." He said nervously, a beat of sweat dropping down his forehead as he realized just how close he had gotten to the mass.

The Dusknoir turned his head towards Lok. "And how can I trust the prankster? For all I know you're setting me up...again."

Lok chuckled nervously. "Please, if I would be trying to set someone up, it'd be him." He pointed a thumb towards Nine.

"That is a fair point....I can't imagine how much trouble you put them through." Lok let out a sigh of relief, laughing a bit more.

"Less than I'd like, if I'm to be honest. It's been... hectic, to say the least." He said offhandedly, relieved that Nine was going to be sticking around.

He leaned back and the strange energy vanished - a good sign!. However, the man kept a glare towards Lok that was making him feel uneasy. "What do you mean?" Lok let out a shrug, his nerves kicking back in.

"W-Well, between all this Godslayer nonsense and the legends themselves, it hasn't been smooth sailing at all."

"She shouldn't have gotten involved with those Godslayers." the Dusknoir said. "You shouldn't have let her. You know how important he is to...us." Lok winced a bit, his words stinging a bit. He hadn't really done good job at all, although Gwen was safe and sound now.

"I... I know. Honestly, our luck has been rotten. Every place we visit seemed to have been affected by whatever it is they're planning. It's a miracle we made it back relatively unharmed, honestly." Lok said, rubbing his arm and looking at the ground. "I tried to keep her out of trouble, but trouble always seemed to find us." He turned back up towards the man.

The man frowned, not pleased with his answer "If you bring trouble here..." Before he could finish, however, the doors to the kitchen opened up.

Sky Temple Team Showdown

Scarlet let out a sigh of relief when she heard that Landerous was not stubborn like Groudon and Zygarde, although she was still expecting the worst. As the legends bickered, she felt something poke her. Turing around, she saw Isole, who mentioned she was tired. Scarlet let out a sigh - she was still tired, even after resting at Zygarde's place, but she knew that the clock was ticking. Taiga was more than likely tired as well, and would probably want to spend some time with Kyogre. She turned to Rayquaza and Celebi. "I'm sure that is of the essence, but we do need to rest up. Like we said, the Godslayer we fought when getting Zygarde gave us a beating." She said, crossing her arms. "We should rest up a bit before heading out in case there's another one. We won't be able to assemble everyone if we're dead." It was agreed upon then - they would rest before going onto the next mission. Scarlet wasted no time, making her way towards her room and taking a well deserved nap.

Of course, she wasn't really able to get a good rest, as she tossed and turned on the bed. Letting out an annoyed sigh, Scarlet decided that she needed some fresh air. Getting up, she started making her way through the building.

Somehow, miraculously, she found her way onto a balcony. And on that balcony was Celebi. Scarlet's eyes lit up as she made her way towards the legend. "Oh, Celebi! Do you have a moment?"

Celebi turned around, a smile on her face. "A moment? I have many moments....There goes one. Oh there's another."

Scalet let out a chuckle as she took a seat next to her. "Well, I was wondering... " She began, rubbing the back of her head. "Since you know him and everything... is Cobalion as stubborn as, well, Zygarde or Groudon?" She asked.

"He's stubborn. But there are different kinds of stubborn. Groudon is stubborn about acting. Zygarde is stubborn about Rayquaza. Cobalion is stubborn about black and white justice."

Scarlet nodded her head. "I see... Makes sense, all things considered." Not quiet the answer she was looking for, although she knew that before she asked the question. He was, after all, the Sword of Justice. It would be weird if he wasn't that way. Another thought crossed her mind. Without thinking, she continued. "So... what, exactly, are the trials for a disciple?"

"The trials? Well. They're more guidelines. Some follow them more closely. But you prove yourself and a Legend takes you under their wing."

"Prove myself, huh?" Scarlet paused, looking down at her pincers, before grinning. "Alright, then I'll just have to prove myself to Cobalion." She pumped her fist in excitement. "Once we find him, anyways." She was personally waiting for the mission to go retrieve Cobalion from Rayquaza... if anyone could stop these Godslayers, it was him. She turned back to Celebi. "Thank you... it's nice to talk to someone a bit less headstrong." She let outs a sigh "I can only hope Landorus won't cause a big fuss about coming with."

"I'm sure he will." Celebi said in a chipper voice. "He's a strange old man for sure."

"Great..." Scarlet said, shaking her head as she crossed her arms. She wasn't keen on having to deal with another one like them, but she knew going into this that it wasn't going to be easy.

Team Showdown - Sky Temple

As the legends bickered among themselves, Taiga couldn't help but roll her eyes.  They were like one big happy family up here.  But the fact that Rayquaza wasn't going to participate in the final fight irked her.  And it was definitely aggravating her more that Rayquaza planned on sending them out again immediately after getting their asses whipped by both a Legend and a God slayer.

"I'm tired." Isole chimed in, poking at Taiga and Scarlet.  Taiga nodded in agreement, and Scarlet let her opinion on the matter known as well.

"Yeah, not to burst y'alls bubble or anythin', but we're going to rest up before getting handed our asses again."  With that, Taiga saluted the Legends, ushering Isole to follow.  "You should probably head on up to bed, Ice."  She said, patting her head.  "I'll be up soon enough, but my skin's a little dry.  I'm going to take a dip."  She waved back to Isole with a warm smile, as they parted ways, making her way to the pool.  In a bathroom beforehand, she gingerly disrobed, leaving the bandages the covered her chest and lower regions.  Afterwards, she took a step into the hot steaming water that was separate from the large pool.  She sank lower into the water, letting out a relieved sigh as she went deeper.  She could feel her skin tingle, and reinvigorate itself with the fresh water flowing through her pores.

"A girl could get used to this.  Fufufu..."  She said, closing her eyes.

"Isn't that nice, Ari? You get hand-me-downs." Mac gave a short laugh. "That's fine, Miss Kazo's Mom, I suppose he gets enough attention when he's dressed like he is anyway." For some reason, Mac just couldn't stop laughing. Were hand me downs that funny? "So..." Mac asked. "You lived here for a while then? What's it like here? Bet it's boring." She said it off-offhandedly but she also glanced over at Kazo when saying it.

"Yup. It's a bit boring, but I like it," Kazo's mom answered. "Sometimes, some peace and quiet is all a person needs, you know?"

Kazo raised an eyebrow as Mac glanced at him. "Why are ya lookin' at me? I've never lived here. I lived in Juyu," Trish looked up and snapped her fingers.

"Yeah, that reminds me," She stated. "Have you heard? Juyu's been destroyed," Kazo looked up, blinking, obviously not processing what was said.

"I'm sorry, what?"

"Yeah, it's basically been razed to the ground...," Trish looked a bit concerned as she looked over Kazo's face. "Honestly don't know if they're survivors...," That sentence made it clear to Kazo. They had no idea if his birth mom was okay, or even still alive. He wanted to say that it gave him some complicated emotion, that despite everything he went through, he cared for that place, that he was worried about his mother. After all, that's how any decent human being should be feeling, right?

It was almost disturbing to him that he didn't feel anything.

"I... I see," Kazo muttered. "What... what could cause a whole town to just be destroyed?" He asked. Trish sighed at Kazo's lack of reaction and answered.

"I don't know for sure. People are saying it's the Godslayer," She shook her head. "Can't believe there are Gijinka like that out there," Kazo stayed quiet, unsure how to answer. What would tell her? That there was more than one? That he fought so many Godslayers? That he nearly died each time? No, that wasn't something he wanted her to know.

Mac would probably blurt it out though.

They eventually got to the home. There wasn't anything too special about the home, just an average two story home. Trish was quick to take Ari to another room, seeing if some of Denku's or Kaz's old fancy clothes would fit him. Kazo waiting in the living, sighing to himself. "Hey Mac, you think that we should get better clothes? Or is Ari the only one dressing up...?"

"I see." There was a pause. "That's not your only purpose but, for now, it is a purpose I will accept. You heard what the king said I am sure. I am a criminal. I've failed in my duties." He looked at Brooke directly. Making eye contact without wavering. "It was not my first failure. Dora's mother is sick."

And suddenly Dora's reaction to Denku revealing his condition made much more sense. He couldn't imagine that she liked the thought that her mother and a friend were both sick and likely to leave soon...

"Her father has grown more protective. She...has always been curious about the outside world. But there would be no way her father would let her see the rest of the world. Dora's mother...did not want that. So she asked me to bring Dora to the surface and keep her safe. When we reached the surface we were attacked. I was...unused to fighting up there and there were many of them. I only remember waking up, face in the ground, in front of the king."

He then frowned. "He's not going to let her leave again you know."

"Yeah, well, we'll burn that bridge when we get to it," Denku commented. Brooke was being unusually quiet, so he supposed he needed to pick up the slack. "And yeah, there's more reasons why we're here, but it still comes back to Dora. Apparently, some important people are worried about a friend of Dora's, and we're going to make sure that they're okay," He shrugged. "That little Wooper seems to be a bigger force in the world than she realizes,"

Brooke stayed quiet as she processed the (not so new) information. The King had imprisoned a man who had done nothing but the follow orders, if Gisei was telling the truth. “Hm…” she hummed along, allowing Denku to take the lead of the conversation. She couldn’t pinpoint it, but something about the whole thing still wasn’t sitting right with her.

A thick, blanketing silence fell over the room for a moment after Denku spoke. Brooke stared back at Gisei, debating over what to say, before finally pushing off the wall she was leaned against to approach his cage. “I was there. During the fight. I could have helped sooner, but where I’m from… sometimes it’s better not to stick your neck out.” She wasn’t apologetic; she hadn’t known him or the situation he was in, and it was true that helping people more than not came back to bite you in the ass in Deku. “I helped Dora get out of there though. I gave her a place to stay, food to eat, new clothes to wear. I even started teaching her how to read and write. I was everything short of a parent.”

She leaned close to the bars, lowering her voice so that the guards outside wouldn’t hear. “The reason that I’m telling you all this is because I need to know: is Dora a princess here, or a prisoner?” Fire burned within her eyes, and the conviction she spoke the next words with would have shaken even a legendary. “Because if the King plans to lock her in a room and throw away the key, so help me Arceus, there’s not a ‘Mon alive that could stop me from taking her away from here again.”

Team Alola, Day 27, Trailsau

"Trevor! Trevor wait up, I'm coming with!"

The Flygon paused and looked back. "One of you says go, one says wait, I wish you could make up your minds." He sounded antsy. Being out of his home for so long seemed to be causing him stress. However he did wait for the girl to catch up before heading off again. The closer to the volcano they got the hotter it seemed to get. As they reached the volcano the ground became ashy. The air smoky.

Trevor let out a sigh and wings spread out from his back and began to flap rapidly. His Defog managed to clear out most of the smog and they would be able to see a pair of Larvitar Gijinka climbing their way up the side of the volcano.

Meanwhile Randy was being dogpiled. After his little stunt multiple Gijinka dove for him and began to attack, essentially trapping the Incineroar under the press of bodies.

Team Karaoke, Day 37, Alpha

Gwendoline wasn't sure what she'd find when she came into the room. Though her sisters clinging to her friends with her father hovering over them menacingly....was basically the expected.

"Welcome home father." Gwendoline said, her voice somewhat sharp. "The food is almost ready. Why don't we all go to the table and get ready."

The Dusknoir seemed to almost deflate as his daughter spoke up. He gave the pair one more stern look before backing away and turning to Gwendoline. "It's so good to see you, dear, I'll go set up the table for you and....your friends."

Gwen smiled at him, knowing just moments ago he must have been threatening the pair, and nodded. "Thank you father. Why don't you take the twins as well." She shot the pair a Look and they stuck their tongues out before their dad turned back.

"Come you two, with me."

Before he exited Gwen spoke up again. "Oh, father, where is Kaitlyn anyway? She should be around somewhere right?"

The trio paused and the twins looked at each other in concern. Her father took several deep breaths before saying. "She left, on an 'adventure' or something."

He didn't say anything more and the three of them went through the doorway.

Gwen stared for a moment before turning to the others. "Er, I hope they didn't cause you too much trouble." She said apologetically.

Team Showdown, Day 30, Rayquaza's Pad

Celebi smiled at Scarlet. Just stood there and smiled. "You and your group are very different you know. One's rash and emotional. One's aloof and silent. And then there's you. Where do you fall? I can't quite figure it out. The other two are very distinct. You're rather...underdeveloped, maybe bland, compared to them. I wonder why that is." The smile on the girl's face was mysterious. Making it hard to tell how serious she was.

Taiga was able to spend a good amount of time in the water alone until she would hear someone entering. Then a soft gasp of surprise. Magearna, clutching a towel, seemed to fret about. "Oh, excuse me, I didn't know you were here. Um. Um. Do you need anything? Er, not that I can really get anything right now."

In the meantime Isole, restless, was wandering the halls. Her thoughts were a whirl as she considered everything that had happened. She was still young, the youngest of the S.S. Showdown in fact, and her life had been less than glamorous up until now. Yet now she was staying with several Legendaries. Essentially in an entirely different realm. Did she really have a place here?

The answer wasn't coming to her.

Team Mac, Day 23, Ogren

Mac wasn't laughing anymore. The city was destroyed on the other side of the world. Another Godslayer, just how many were there? Her fist clenched and her ears rang. Sparks shot up her arms. "Someone has to stop them." She said. "They can't just continue to do whatever they want. It's just not right."

She was still mulling it over when they reached Kazo's home.

"Hey Mac, you think that we should get better clothes? Or is Ari the only one dressing up...?"

"Huh? Dress up for what?" Mac took a moment to remember what was going on. "Oh! Uh, I dunno what you're talking about I don't need to dress up at all. I'm fine just like this...You might need something though. Maybe you can wear a dress." Mac laughed again but it seemed a bit less jovial than before.

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 33, Under the sea, we off the We got no troubles

"Apparently, some important people are worried about a friend of Dora's, and we're going to make sure that they're okay,"

Gisei frowned. "You might have to narrow it down. I'm not sure if you noticed coming in but Dora's friends are...everyone."

Brooke spoke up then and Gisei watched her intently. No emotion crossing his face but his eyes serious and piercing.

“The reason that I’m telling you all this is because I need to know: is Dora a princess here, or a prisoner? Because if the King plans to lock her in a room and throw away the key, so help me Arceus, there’s not a ‘Mon alive that could stop me from taking her away from here again.”

Gisel glanced over at the soldiers who seemed to stir a bit as Brooke spoke. Her tone having carried over. He looked back at her. "I can't answer that. She was never treated badly. She could go anywhere in the city." He looked up. "Just not up there. I won't say it's entirely safe here, and I don't think she should be kept here, but I won't deny I can understand not wanting her...there."

He looked back at Brooke. "One way or another Dora won't want to stay here. Regardless of how well she's treated or loved. Her mother wanted her to go to the world because she knew Dora wouldn't be satisfied with less."

He looked back at Denku. "You will want to take care of your other task before your friend begins her rampage. Who are you looking for?"

Once Marie had caught up with Trevor, she let coughed a bit as the ashy air was starting to get to her. This didn't last long, though, as Trevor flapped his wings and managed to blow the soot away from them. Off-handedly saying, "whoa, that's handy," the girl then looked around. With her eyes drifting up the massive mountain before her, she eventually saw small figures making their way up the mountain side. Looking at them, she asked Trevor,  "wait...are those guys climbing up the big fire mountain?"

Trevor lowered his gaze and muttered. "It's the only way to get up there"

"Oh." Marie's expression fell flat, as she seemed to be taking this as well Trevor was. Looking up for a moment, though she couldn't make out too many distinct features of the people climbing she felt the need to ask. "They wouldn't happen to be who we're looking for, are they?"

"Yep, they sure are." Trevor said with a sigh.

"Oh..." Marie looked up at the volcano, stunned at the prospect of having to climb up to get them. After a few seconds more,  the girl took in a deep breath, working herself up saying, "well, it's dangerous, so we just gotta climb up faster than them right?"

"You do." Trevor said. "I'm staying here."

"Huh?" As quickly as she had gotten psyched up a wind in her sails seemed to be taken out. Getting her stern face on, she said, "isn't it your responsibility to look after them?"

"I'm looking." He muttered. Unable to believe the man's conduct, Marie glared at him, her face ever more stern than it was before. Trevor looked back blankly. "They're getting closer."

Marie sighed at the man's utter lack of action. Annoyed, the girl realized there was only one way to get this done. "Fine. I'll just do it myself." Looking at the mountain, Marie walked over though stopped as she was able to fully comprehend the scope of what she was about to do. "Come on Marie, you can do this. It's just like climbing trees, only bigger. And rocky. And on fire some times. And smoky. And I know you haven't climbed many trees."

The Brionne had, in her ramblings, psyched herself out of the task. Feeling much smaller than before, she backed away from the moment, before taking her another deep breath. "Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!" Screaming as loud as she could, working up her spirit to get ready to do this, Marie charged the volcano, grabbing onto it and starting to climb up it. Unfortunately, Brionne's weren't know for their physical strength nor their speed. This was very evident in Marie's slow going, yet progress she was still making. Climbing up, she shouted to the people above her. "Waaaaiiiiit uuuup!"

She was closing the distance between herself and the others, hurrying along to not get left too far behind. This volcano looks a lot bigger up close, Nani thought to herself, as she looked up and saw two smaller gijinkas and the big one that had yelled for people to fight him.

"Fine. I'll just do it myself."

"I'm coming too!" Nani called out, hurrying along, and casting a glance in Trevor's direction as she passed by. Was he not joining them? Wow. Marie had already starteed scaling the rocky surface of the mountain, though she wasn't making much progress. If she was still a tiny Popplio, Nani could have maybe carried her on her back and climbed up like that. But that wasn't the case. Instead, Nani rolled up her sleeves, but only enough that her hands were visible, before gripping the mountain and starting upward. While she'd climbed plenty of stuff as a kid, and had indeed gone up a volcano once or twice, that was different. The one back home had a path you could walk up.

"Trevor's not helping?" Nani asked, as she caught up to Marie on her climb upward.

To say that the Incineroar had enough of this Trailsau all-out brawl at this point, was a bit of an understatement. Oh sure, he LOVED fighting against some tough opponents as much as the next guy...but right now, there was a Legendary at the goal-line here in Trailsau and he also had to get Allie's siblings away from said Legendary. What was even worse now...

"G-Get...the hell off me!!!" Randy's muffled voice came out from a bit of a pile of gijinka. "Apparently", in the moment that Trevor walked through the brawl after the Incineroar shouted, his Fire Blast hit some onlookers who weren't doing anything and just watching Trevor walking by. Of course, this was hearsay from the Trailsauians...he knew good and well that was Tauros shit and that he fired his Fire Blast in the middle of the conflict in order to pave a way for Team Alola to get the hell after Trevor to get the kids.

Though right now, he was pretty much dog-piled by a total of...seven, yeah it was definitely seven gijinkas that he could see. What was the plan now?

Knock some of these nā papa off and just high-tail it to the volcano... he thought, grunting to move slightly beneath this dog-pile. If they see me running towards the volcano, maybe SOMETHING will click in their heads and they'll leave me and the others the hell alone!

With his plan in mind now and with a loud roar, Randy made a move. He swung his arms outward and knocked a few of the gijinka on top of him back and was about to do his best to high-tail it to the volcano...unfortunately, there were road blocks...as in the gijinka.

"Arceus...DAMNIT!!! I just want to get to the kids and fight Heatran!!!" he groaned with a slight growl in his voice.

Nine let out a sigh of relief as Lok had come to his aid and Gwen's father had let go of him. Even more thankfully, Gwen herself had come back from the kitchen. As the woman and her father spoke for a bit, Nine felt even more relieved as the man left the room. Looking to the woman he chuckled a bit saying, "no more trouble than - well, you've got a lovely family here." After that, he looked in the direction of the kitchen, saying, "oh, is food ready?"

After a bit, the group gathered around the table, sitting down to eat the food presented before them. Taking some baked bread, Nine couldn't help but feel greatly awkward here, sitting with a family he had never met and eating a meal with them. Not to mention, regardless of what he was doing, he couldn't help but feel that Gwen's father was glaring at him. All the same, the Houndoom said, "well, thank you for the food and hospitality ma'am," he looked towards Gwen's mother smiling and nodding. Looking to Gwen he asked, "so, are things usually this lively around town and the home?"

As Taiga let out a deep exhale, she could hear the little pitter patter of feet heading into the room.  She turned over her shoulder to see Magearna, clutching at her towel.  She must've thought she'd be alone here.

"Oh, excuse me, I didn't know you were here. Um. Um. Do you need anything? Er, not that I can really get anything right now."

"Well well well, looks like someone isn't glued to Rayquaza's hip after all."  Taiga said, her teeth glimmering in humor.

"Oh...oh of course not, that would be rather uncomfortable."

Taiga smacked the top of the frothy water with her hand, laughing as she did.

"I didn't mean literally, silly!  Fufufu!"  Her face and demeanor gave off an innocence to that of Isole.  A bit endearing, if not worrisome for a Legend.  Taiga then waved Magearna down, flagging her to join her.  "What do you see in that big green lug anyway?  Why do you seem like some kind of servant.  Aren't you a legendary Gijinka?"

Magearna gingerly stepped into the water with a sigh.

"Oh...no, not...not yet anyway. I'm too...young to be counted as a Legendary. I'm serving Lord Rayquaza at the moment to learn."

"And how's greetin' guests, and serving dinner supposed to make you a Legend?  Seems like a load of Bouffalant to me."  Taiga said, splashing Magearna with a small wave.  "Aren't you supposed to learn how to be yourself?"

She gave a slight smile.

"You can't learn to lead if you don't know how to follow first."

Taiga smacked the air between them, as if giving the statement a backhand.

"That's a load too!  You can't learn how to be a leader.  It's in your blood!"  Taiga then swam up to Magearna, hear eyes just peaking above the water.  She sprang up right in the girl's face with a big splash.  "He's not even a good leader...what are you gonna learn from that lazy sack of bones?!  Eh?!"  She realized she was getting too heated.  She sunk beneath the water, only to breach a second later, flipping her short hair behind her head.  "You call it what you want...but I think he's just holdin' you back.  Legends are born, not molded."

She starts to giggle.

"Oh, I assure you, they most certainly are not." Magearna then frowned at her. "I don't think you should be so quick to insult Lord Rayquaza. He's kept the world going for such a long time, all alone up here..."

"Is that what he's told you?"  Taiga said, with a grimace.  "Where was he when I almost starved to death in an alleyway, huh?  My world almost stopped that day..."  Taiga clutched her arms, shivering despite the warm water.  "He's disconnected from the real world...preferring to waste away up here...looking down on us...even when we're right in front of him."

"Have you truly not noticed? Lord Rayquaza cannot leave this place." Magearna said, face falling. "The moment he does the weather goes out of control. Were he to leave for more than a few minutes..." She shook her head, the thought alone causing her to go silent.

"I don't buy it."  Taiga said, resting her chin on the water.  "Not one bit."

"Only if you wear one to," Kazo commented with a chuckle. Soon, Trish came out with Ari all dressed up, and handing Kazo's bag to him.

"I packed some other clothes for him. Hopefully it'll help, yeah?"

"Yeah, thanks mom," He said before hugging her. He sighed as he broke the hug, rubbing his chin. "Well... I guess we better get going," He muttered.

"Right. Before to see me before you leave, alright?" Trish said with a smile, which Kazo nodded to.

"Of course,"

"You might have to narrow it down. I'm not sure if you noticed coming in but Dora's friends are...everyone." That was a fair point, and one that Denku couldn't argue against. The prisoner looked back at Brooke. "One way or another Dora won't want to stay here. Regardless of how well she's treated or loved. Her mother wanted her to go to the world because she knew Dora wouldn't be satisfied with less." He looked back at Denku. "You will want to take care of your other task before your friend begins her rampage. Who are you looking for?"

"Oh, some child of a legendary. Phione, I think the name was," Denku tried to play it off as casual, but he knew this wasn't something they could just brush to the side. This WAS the child of a legendary. Then again, there was always the possibility that this man didn't know who that was at all. If he didn't know, then they'd have to look the old fashioned way and honestly, seeing as legends could apparently shapeshift, that wasn't going to be easy. They'd need Dora... again.

Gwen came through the door, her father's pressure easing up a bit as he calmed down at the site of his daughter. He couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief as Gwen's father left the scene. "That... went a lot better than I expected." Lok said with an uneasy chuckle, before turning towards Gwen. Lok simply shrugged as the girl apologized, although he was still a bit shaken up by the encounter. "It is how it is." He then turned to the kitchen door. "Well, we shouldn't keep them waiting, huh?" He said, hustling towards the door.

Lok slowly ate as he took a look around the table. It had been a while since he had sat down and had a nice meal like this - it was a nice change of pace, to say the least. As he reached over to grab a bread, he turned to Nine, who was asking Gwen about the lively hood of the home and town. Lok simply smiled a bit to himself. "Asking if a ghost town is lively - classic." He muttered jokingly, taking a bite of his bread.

Sky Temple Team Showdown

Scarlet gave Celebi a confused look, tilting her head side ways. She wasn't sure how serious the legend was being with her at that moment, or even what she was talking about. "What do you mean... 'bland?'" She asked, crossing her arms as she kept an eye on the legend. The legend seemed to place her somewhere between Taiga's brashness and Isole's solemness. Scarlet shook her head, standing up from her seat. It didn't matter what some legend thought about her character, if she was underdeveloped or not. "Bland or not, it doesn't change what I really am." She said, turning back  towards the legend, a glint of determination in her eye. "I'm a protector, for those who can't defend themselves. Whether people find me interesting or not is irrelevant - I will stop the Godslayers."
