(o ×) 228 Posted April 20, 2021 (edited) Honestly the crystals don't even look transparent. To me they appear crystalline, yet reflective. Like hematite. If I were to make them I would build them out of card stock, then layer fiberglass on them. Sand (with a respirator!!!!!!) till it's smooth, spraypaint black, apply either a wax metallic coating (brand like rub n buff) or a dusting of chrome rattle can. There might be an easier way, I just really love fiberglass and pepakura. Making them translucent would be a bitch and a half, and probably involve styrene and a vacuum table. I have no clue on crafting and some of the materials you mention, like this Rub n Buff, but nothing that some Googling cannot solve. Can't promise I will craft something soon but I feel with more direction now. Besides, I don't exactly have a garage or space to work with crafts but surely can find a spot. Thanks a lot!
