    Inb4 its the "Solrock and Lunatone not being in SM/USUM" all over again.  Then again, being another counterpart to a EU region, it WOULD be a crime NOT to have the Honedge line in these games.

    I like the in-GY searching effect. What bugs me is if it's not a bit too fast at counter-generation. 3 Counters right off the bat, plus more if counter-gainers are on board at the time of its activation, is quite a lot. By the way, Quick Effect is a variant of monster effect, thus it doesn't apply to Spell/Traps. Use the "during either player's turn" clause instead.

  9. Spell Power Distribution

    Continuous Spell

    This card's name becomes "Spell Power Grasp" while on the field or in the GY. Up to 3 times per turn, during either player's turn: You can take 1 Spell Counter from a card on the field with Spell Counters on it and place it on another card on the field that you can place Spell Counters on. This effect of "Spell Power Distribution" cannot be used more than once per Chain. You can banish this card from your GY; add from your Deck or GY to your hand, 1 card whose original (printed) name is "Spell Power Grasp" or "Spell Power Control". You can only use this effect of "Spell Power Distribution" once per turn.

     

    The idea here is to give a bit of support to the 2 "Spell Power" Spells by (1) giving them a searcher/recycler and (2) giving them 1-3 more copies for "Control"'s Spell Counter-placing effect.  And also a support for Spell Counters for cards that can only use the Counters that are on themselves (like Library and the most recent "Endymion" monsters).

    Dark Contract with the Dark Master
    Continuous Spell
    During your Main Phase: You can Ritual Summon 1 Fiend Ritual Monster. You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels exactly equal the Level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon. If Ritual Summoning a "D/D" Ritual Monster this way, you can also banish Fiend monsters from your Deck or GY for that Ritual Summon. You can only use this effect of “Dark Contract with the Dark Master” once per turn. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase: You can banish 1 Fiend monster with 1000 or more ATK from your GY, otherwise, take 1000 damage.

  14. I'm kinda liking the gimmick and concept of the "Time Thief" Archetype which was revealed recently, so I decided to throw together a couple of cards which I think might end up being utilized effect-wise in future releases.

    Time Thief Oscilla
    DARK/Lv 4/Psychic/Effect/1300 ATK/1800 DEF
    If a material that is owned by your opponent is detached from an Xyz Monster you control; You can Special Summon this card from your GY (if it was there when the material was detached) or hand (even if not), but banish it when it leaves the field. If this card is used as Material for the Summon of an Xyz Monster: You can attach 1 “Time Thief” card from your hand or GY to that monster. If that Xyz Monster has "Time Thief" in its original name AND was Summoned using only “Time Thief” cards when this effect was activated, you can instead attach 1 random card from your opponent’s hand to that Xyz Monster. You can only use each effect of “Time Thief Oscilla” once per turn.

     

    Time Thief Undoer
    DARK/Rank 4/Psychic/Xyz/Effect/2000 ATK/2400 DEF
    2+ Level 4 monsters
    If your opponent activates a card or effect from their hand during your Main Phase or either player’s Battle Phase (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 “Time Thief” card from your hand, field or GY; negate the activation of that card or effect, and if you do, attach that card to this monster as Xyz Material. (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card; return to the Deck, 1 of your opponent’s cards that is either banished or in their GY. You can only use each effect of “Time Thief Undoer” once per turn.


     


  15. inb4 Persona 5 memes

    So, an Archetype that can fuel itself with your opponent's cards... looks very promising already.  I'd like to see if any more cards come out which interact with "materials owned by your opponent", as well as perhaps a monster that attaches a monster it/a "Time Thief" monster destroys by battle to itself as material.  Perhaps also a card that attaches a material from your opponent's hand to an Xyz Monster?

    Possibilities seem endless =3 Plus I finally have an Archetype for Alister Azimuth to use.


  16. Atomic Firefly

    LIGHT/Lv 1/Insect/Effect/100 ATK/200 DEF

    Cannot be Tributed or used as Material for a Summon. You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by banishing 1 Insect monster from your GY, and if you do, place 1 Radiation Counter on this card. During each player's End Phase; place 1 Radiation Counter on this card. This card gains 500 ATK for every Radiation Counter on it. While this card has a Radiation Counter(s) on it, it is unaffected by your opponent's card effects. If this card with a Radiation Counter(s) is destroyed by battle; inflict 1000 damage to your opponent, also, banish 1 card your opponent controls for every 3 Radiation Counters this card had while on the field.

     

    Next Prompt: Castle of Dark Illusions OR Pumpking the King of Ghosts (either one is fine, but if you wanna do both, feel free.)


  17. I think you were supposed to give a new prompt whether you made a card for, or skipped, the previous prompt.

    Anyways, I'll set up the next prompt: A "Lightsworn" card (or card that simply supports "Lightsworns") that utilizes/involves Shine Counters in a different way from "Realm of Light" and "Lightsworn Sanctuary"; it doesn't necessarily have to add Shine Counters to itself or the two aforementioned cards.

    That depends on the day of the week, really.  After having worked Grave Shift for over a year prior to my current job, I'd much rather be an early bird nowadays, but I'm still a night owl during the weekend 'cuz I've got friends on the other side of the world that I like to chat with, plus it affords me more time for drawing, etc..

    Must be Fusion Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Cannot be used as Material for a Summon. You can only control 1 "Frightfur Shaddoll Extermera". If this card is sent to the GY: You can add 1 "Shaddoll", "Fluffal", "Frightfur" or "Edge Imp" card from your GY to your hand. This card gains the following effects, depending on the Fusion Materials used for this card's Fusion Summon.

    • "Frightfur" monster: If you would Special Summon a Fusion Monster from the Extra Deck, it can be Special Summoned to your Main Monster Zone, even if a Link Monster(s) does not point to any of your Main Monster Zones.
    • "Shaddoll" monster: Once per turn, if your opponent would activate a Spell/Trap Card or monster's effect while you have a "Shaddoll", "Fluffal", "Frightfur" or "Edge Imp" card in your hand; You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card, then send 1 "Shaddoll", "Fluffal", "Frightfur" or "Edge Imp" card from your hand to the GY.
