As a Dragon Ball fan, this movie was just about perfect. Some of the best action (and jokes too) in the series' history, a great new take on Broly, and superb animation on all fronts. It's a must-see for any DB fan and for animation otakus in general. I'm curious to see who else has seen it and what they liked or didn't like about it.

So I got 21 movies on my list so far with 8 maybes and 13 of them being sequels. Interestingly, 9 of these are also Disney properties.

Best pull was in 4th grade, I wrecked my friendship with my bro because I told the girl he liked that he had a crush on her. Dick move on my part.

Sunshine's one of my top Gamecube games; I've also found it to have really high replayability over the years. I'm a huge fan of all its hub worlds and the vacation atmosphere you felt throughout the whole thing.

It has the one thing I find most important in RPGs. Fun NPCs. There's nothing that takes me out of a game more than going around talking to the random NPCs and they just regurgitate plot points and mechanics. TTYD is one of the best games for NPC dialogue there is.

One of my video game idiosyncrasies is talking to every single NPC, so it's really great when a game puts effort into their dialogue. I'm glad you feel that way too; I think the whole Paper Mario series excels at this and at all the other things people in this thread are mentioning.

I should really get around to beating Color Splash and the original one.

-My favorite band growing up was Linkin Park and Meteora was the first album I ever downloaded to my iPod. I discovered them through Naruto AMVs on Google Video before YouTube really became a thing. I'd never seen them in concert and almost a couple years ago now, I decided to finally go see them since they were touring near me with Blink 182.

Maybe a few hours before going home and sitting down to order tickets, we all got the news Chester Bennington passed away. Took that one hard.

One neat thing that I got to experience later that year was durig a Jay-Z show; he closed the entire show out performing Numb/Encore. It's one of my favorite ever tracks and a moment I'll never forget, appreciated the small bit of closure that gave me.

That's interesting, Mega Man is probably my worst character! I'm not so hot with gunners in general but I don't think I got higher than the 6's with him. He's got some fun air attacks though.

I agree on Galleom, dude's super easy compared to the other bosses. I think Ganon's the hardest for me because sometimes I'll mess up getting behind him and I'll rack up enough damage to lose a stock before finishing him.

It can be literally anything, doesn't have to be embarrassing. Talent you have, secret hobby, fun fact, idiosyncrasy of yours, etc. Whatever, just have fun with it.

-I almost never drink soda, never liked the carbonation growing up or even most flavors. Maybe I'll have mixed drinks at a party like rum and coke, but that's it.

I tried to main Isabelle for awhile since I love her, but I've found her lack of reliable kill options too much of a detriment. So I'm keeping on with Ike as I have been as well as focusing on Dark Samus who I've really had fun with in this game since dabbling with Samus in Smash 4.

The DLC leak was just a list of code names, we don't yet actually know anyone aside from those already announced.

I just saw some of the article headlines and stayed away, but good to know.

Ridley's cool, I'm not super good as him or anything but I feel like I can improve with him whereas characters from Earthbound and Animal Crossing are examples of people I don't think I'll ever really get a good grasp on. Isabelle is fun though.

Sounds like this may be harder than I thought. I agree with the love and care, it's been fun to see how they represent some classic VG characters through Smash players and statuses.

Impressive Classic run, I think I average 7 on most characters, 8 with ones I'm decent with, then high 9s for my mains.

2. I already know you're gonna be all over Kingdom Hearts 3, what's the biggest thing you're looking forward to from that game?

Colosseum's fun and it's got style, but TP was my first Zelda game and an epic experience. I'll admit I played it on Wii, but I also believe it's just the better game between the two.

I love Luigi's Mansion, it's a small and weird game but I've crushed hours and hours into that game. I even spontaneously bought the 3DS rerelease and beat it in one go (fun and I like being able to replay bosses, but your hand cramps up after a while with the meh control stick).

^Same here. I also have a soft spot for Colosseum and XD, even if they're not the most well-polished games.

I love it. I still need to beat World of Light, but I managed to unlock everyone by plowing through Classic Mode. I think I'm going to try and eventually 100% this game too because the challenges/achievements aren't as unreasonable to me as they were in Smash U.

The newcomers are all really fun; I'm also stoked to playing people like Toon Link, Wolf, and Snake again. 

Smash is still Smash, Sakurai's our homeboy, and I'm looking forward to the DLC reveals over this next year. I know apparently the full list was leaked a week ago, but I'm not seeking those out because I want to see the reveal trailers completely blind.

Never played KH much but I watched all the cutscenes during high school and I kinda-sorta keep up with it, so curious what'll happen in 3. A ton of my friends are hype about this too; I'm glad they're being thrown a bone after like a decade.

This has made me think of who I'd want as 3rd party characters.

I'd say: Natsu, Genos (I wouldn't throw Saitama in just because of the whole one-hit gag), Rin Okumura, Edward Elric, and Maka/Soul.

I didn't play too many games this year, but I loved Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Spider-Man. The former for obvious reasons, but the latter was just about perfect for me. Sizable campaign, but not too long. Gripping plot, characters, and acting. And the gameplay is astounding, I had a lot of fun swinging around and with combat. As a Spider-Man fan, I love the new take on him and I can clearly tell the Insomniac dev team was passionate about this and also loves Spider-Man. It's also really encouraging to see it do so well, I'm sad it didn't get more love at the Game Awards this year. From everything that's come out, I do think God of War winning makes perfect sense though.

I cannot wait for the sequel.

True, there could still be characters involved in the story that just aren't playable, I could settle for that. It's a pretty solid roster at the moment, so I don't think I have any complaints on that front even if this is the full opening day cast.
