Summer Darj 292 Posted April 30, 2019 (edited) Heptceratox FlarexFIRE/Dinosaur/Effect/Level 9 2900/3600 Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 Dinosaur monster from your GY and shuffling 2 of your banished Dinosaur monsters into the Deck. Once per turn, during either player's Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can destroy 1 Dinosaur monster or Spell/Trap in your hand or field, and if you do, until the end of this turn, negate the effects of 1 face-up monster your opponent controls and take control of it. If this card is sent to the GY by a card effect: You can Set directly from your Deck or GY 1 "Survival" Trap that includes "Dinosaur(-Type)" in its text. You can only use this effect of "Heptceratox Flarex" once per turn. With the unlimit of Miscellaneousaurus I randomly thought on giving Dinosaurs an additional boss that is intended to secure them a place at the top tiers in the upcming formats. This big Dino is FIRE for Agnimazud, Level 9 for the True King Xyz and the recent Level 9 World Legacy support, is Summonable by Double Evolution Pill and covers what Ultimate Conductor Tyranno and Overtex Qoatlus cannot touch, which is monster effect negation, in the form of a Widow Anchor or Manhunt/Crackdown-like effect. The second effect is mostly to mirror Qoatlus' design. Now, I am aware that with the return of 3 copies of Miscellaneousaurus, Dinosaur decks look really promising already, and may not really need any support, so again, this card is mainly intended to secure them a place at the top. Besides, even with the new boon they may still struggle against the other top tier contenders, namely Orcusts. Thoughts? Anyone thinks this fits in Dinosaurs and their Level9 playstyle? Would it actually be barely acceptable for the upcoming meta(s)? Or perhaps would be a disgusting overkill?
