Tribute Based Archetype

Recommended Posts

These are the first cards I've created. My intent was to try and make an archetype based on tributing/tribute summoning monsters that could be at least Rogue status in today's meta. Anyway, here they are:

Monsters

Spoiler

Priest of Blood

Spoiler

Discard this card; add 1 "Baleita, Deity of Blood" from your deck to your hand. If you tribute summon an "of Blood" monster, you can treat this monster as 2 tributes. If this monster is tributed to summon an "of Blood" monster: you can special summon this monster from the Graveyard. While this monster is in the Graveyard, if a token(s) is tributed: Banish this monster; Special Summon 1 "Remnant Token" (Fiend/DARK/Level 2/ATK 0/DEF 0) for every token tributed.

Knight of Blood

Once per turn, Tribute one monster you control; negate the effects of one monster your opponent controls. Once per turn: when a monster you control is sent to the Graveyard, draw 1 card.
Hound of Blood

Spoiler

You can discard this card; add one 'Where the Tributaries Meet' from your deck to your hand.
You can tribute any number of monsters to summon this monster. When this monster is tribute summoned: destroy 1 card for every 2 monsters tributed to summon this monster.

Baleita, Deity of Blood

Spoiler

DOmnFux.png

This monster can only be Tribute Summoned by tributing 10 monsters. If this monster is Special Summoned: discard your hand; skip your next draw phase. When this monster is summoned: target 5 zones; while this card is on the field, cards in those zones have their effects negated. While this card is on the field: reduce the ATK and DEF of all monsters your opponent controls by 1500. If this card destroys a monster by battle: target 1 spell/trap card on the field; destroy that target. If a card effect would cause this card to be moved away from the Monster Card zone (Quick effect): Discard 1 card; negate the summon or activation, and if you do, destroy that card.
