Kurumi Ebisuzawa 4 Posted October 26, 2019 Does that mean just prisoners as in criminals that are in jail? Or can it be metaphorical ones, too? Like, "trapped in a ruined school because you and your friends wouldn't be able to get far without catching a lethal virus," for example. Asking for a friend. The thing about praying to saints is that you're asking them to intercess God on your behalf. And it can never hurt! Mary, mother of Jesus isn't the patron saint of storms, but that didn't stop Martin Luther from praying to her when he was caught by one. Legend says he promised to become a monk if he survived. It did, and then he did!
