Announcement banners keep popping up?

Those little announcement bannners that the mods use then they appear at the top of the site, I keep closing them but the old ones keep popping up every so often. Is this some sort of bug because the site is still new, or might it be something on my end, or what? I haven't seen any other threads asking about this (though I didn't look super-hard) so I feel like it might be a potential issue worth pointing out if I happen to be some sort of rare case.

The issue has since been solved, the announcements were set up slightly incorrectly when created these should no longer re-appear.

Happened to me too, they popped up after a week. I don't think it's a big issue but it might be really simple for Tormey to fix.

Yeah, every so often they'll keep appearing as if something new happened, but it it's almost never anything I haven't seen before.
