Fire Emblem Engage limited run is finished. Alear was MVP overall and pretty much my early game healer with Micaiah's ring, but early game Louis and Alfred both having good defence was useful, and then from the mid-game Citrinne put in a lot of work paired with Lyn and Camilla. Easiest map, would've been Corrin's trial map. Camilla/Alear Griffon for one health bar and Lyn!Citrinne Astra Storm with +4 Radiant Bow for the second one. Was Sniper Citrinne the best choice, probably not, but it is fun.

Took about 30 hours. Was only on Normal which made it quicker. Have started a new playthrough with similar restrictions for my first Hard playthrough and my options are much worse for the early game. Finishing chapter 6 and I have 4 units. Alear, Eite, Celine, and Yunaka. I don't get anymore until chapter 11 where I do get 2 in Kagetsu and Zelkov. Then chapter 12, 13 and 15 all get me a unit in Fogado, Timerra, and Rosado. Then it is 6 chapter break for my final unit Mauvier. Just need to get the Master Seal from then Anna mission then I can promote Alear so I can at least have an easier time getting the Tiki Emblem for Starsphere.

Starting a Fire Emblem Engage run where I can only use 9 randomly selected units + Alear. The randomiser has given me: Alfred, Louis, Lapis, Citrinne, Pandero, Lindon, Saphir, Hortensia, and Madeline. Not going to bother with the restriction when getting Madeline, because that would be too much of a nuisance.
-
This is only going to be my third run of the game. Decided to do a limited run where I don't actually choose the units myself cause otherwise I'm just going to go back to using Framme, Chloe, the Royals and probably Zelestia again. Which is also partially the reason I set the limit to 9 units besides Alear since the deploy limit is 12 for most maps, before rising to 14 for the last couple. Did spin Alfred, Hortensia and Lapis on the wheel, so I have some I've used before. But, after chapter 5, Louis was useful and I can see why he is used.

Well, nearly wiped to Raihan. Lost 4 mons being Frosmoth who was only partook in the 2nd Marnie battle and Raihan's Gym, Ninjask, Centiskorch, and Pinsir. Only really won due to having the Magnet equipped onto Vikavolt so I was guaranteed the range with Thunderbolt, and Duraladon attacking Golisopod, who thankfully survived with 1HP.
-
Ended up wiping to Nessa. Killed the Pelipper a turn early, so my boosted Butterfree had to deal with a Tailwind boosted Barraskewda, and was outsped. Then hoped Durant would outspeed after the Tailwind ended, but nope and then got one-shot. Leaving a weakened Scolipede, Golisopod and Orbeetle. Scolipede then died to a crit Drill Run. Golisopod managed to get back to full from Leech Life against most of Nessa's team, but then Drednaw comes in and while Golisopod can survive a Max Rockfall, it triggers Emergency Exit.
Losing my Vikavolt in the prior Bede fight screwed me over. Also forgetting to replace Light Screen with Reflect on Orbeetle.

Six. Golisopod, Vespiquen, Orbeetle, Scolipede, Durant, and Vikavolt. Can still theoretically get a Butterfree, Escavalier, Accelgor, and Shuckle. Skorupi is also an encounter, but Drapion isn't Bug-type. There is also Scyther/Scizor, Heracross, and Volcarona on the Isle of Armor, if I end up needing more before Leon.

Started a randomised Pokemon White 2 run and get a Gible starter, which gives Hugh a Klink. So of course the random moves Gible gets are all resisted by Klink. Then I head out to the first route and find a Garchomp, which Alpha the Gible did kill since it was a Mud-Slap vs Dual Chop. Then the second route has a Speed Boost/Dragon Dance Rayquaza, which died to a Rollout Luvdisc. Not event the second rival battle and it is already wild.

Well, that's the run over. I go to train in the dark grass and end up in a double battle against a Blitzle and Eelektrik. Turns out the Eelektrik had Wonder Guard and I had no Ground moves. So I was spamming the Run button and lost my Larion and Emolga. Then I get into a trainer battle against a Lillipup which uses Metronome and gets Frost Breath against my Gible. Didn't even reach Virbank.

Started playing MTG:Arena on Tuesday, and I have now achieved all I wanted to do in MTG. Create a bunch of token copies of token doublers. Thus allowing me to turn a land into a 72/72 Elemental with 1,073,741,823 +1/+1 counters on it.
-
Turn went: Use Destiny Spinner to turn Command Tower into X/X Elemental -> Use Yanna to create a copy of Primal Vigor -> Primal Vigor and my 5 Doubling Seasons instead stack to create 64 Primal Vigor Tokens -> Rosie Cotton of South Lane sees 64 Tokens ETB and so places a +1/+1 counter on Command Tower 64 times -> all 70 Primal Vigors and Doubling Seasons see this and stack reaching to counter cap 30 doubles in.

Found my old DS Lite along with an Action Replay. Surprisingly the DS still has charge, so time to load up Pearl and cheat in a Manaphy egg to clear the game with.
-
After using the DS Lite for a bit it is not completely functional. The touch screen refuses to work most of the time so I couldn't actual start a new file on Pearl as I couldn't press the button on the Pokéball. So outside of getting using the action replay to get the Manaphy egg I'll probably be using my 2DS which does make the top screen slightly smaller to match the DS. Screen size though it's fine, feels the same as when I'm using an emulator due to the distance from the screen.

Re-obtained all the achievements for the Mass Effect trilogy, bar the one which requires multiplayer. Mass Effect 2 on Insanity was probably the hardest, especially the early game. Now to complete my ME2 and 3 runs where Kaiden isn't dead.
-
Mono Psychic nuzlocke of Sword has been completed. MVP of the run was my Galarian Slowbro, Curse + Slack Off + Black Sludge is good for most things when combined with Quick Draw. Did allow the use of both different Slowbro, as they are different enough for me. Not that my Kanto Slowbro did much outside of the Rose fight due to getting access to Flamethrower.

4 new Liella members have been revealed, and knowing nothing about them I have a favourite member.

Had to do a morning shift at work on Wednesday so I've got my afternoon shift today off onstead, so I've got free time to go to the cinema to see Sonic 2 during school hours so the cinema is going to be pretty empty.

Been getting more annoyed than I should be at a picture we got donated into work. It is what I assume to be based on an Italian map of Africa from some point in time, but for some reason some has printed on a picture of the Titanic onto it so when I try to search it with Google Lens it just give me stuff relating to the Titanic.

Well, my bout with Covid was fairly short. Did a test today and came back negative. Still will have to check tomorrow and Monday since those are days 5 and 6 after I got my first Positive result. Still have a slight cough, but I've always had a cough, which is probably related to my less than great lifestyle choices.
-
Tested positive with Covid yesterday, and thankfully it isn't too bad. So far not as bad as the cold I had just after Christmas, as I still have the energy to drag myself out of bed. Was really hoping to get through the entire thing without catching it.
-
I'm probably going to be fine as it isn't that bad currently. It has given me the opportunity to catch up on reading through my visual novel backlog while I can't be at work. Am annoyed as I was planning to take my computer and link it to the TV in the sitting room to watch the Nijigasaki live this weekend, as now I just have to use my monitors instead.

Going through my pastures in Legends Arceus to release a bunch of Bergmites and Snorunts, and turns out I caught a shiny Bergmite without realizing it. If it wasn't for the notice that comes up when you go to release a shiny I would never have noticed.
-
Managed to beat Arceus, so everyone deserves a rest, except Arcanine who was chilling in the Pastures. Did wipe a few times as I suck at timing my dodges correctly. Samurott was MVP during the fight, tanking two Grass-type Judgements. Sure he was level 100 with maxed EVs, and I was kinda lucky in the fact my Arceus didn't have a Sp.Atk boosting nature. Garchomp as managed to nearly 1 shot the 2nd round of combat but missed by about 10% and got 1 shot in return. Palkia then came in and finished it off. No time to slowly grind out the Pokedex for the few requests I have left.

-
Well, with the CYL results out, I'm probably going to go with either Tiki or Seliph, depending on play style. And speaking of Seliph, my next +10 is done, aside getting a +Atk copy.
-
Pulled colourless on the Anniversary Banner to try and get a merge for either Summer Freyja or Harmonized Leif, and got a -Spd Lyre which kinda sucks. But thankfully I do have a +spd 4* copy I could always merge her into, or just use as Atk/Spd Catch fodder if I ever pull a Farina I can use for Atk/Spd Catch 4 and Atk/Def Rein.

Spent a bit of time yesterday and today going through a bit of Pokemon Legends: Arceus and despite only beating he first boss, it is probably my favourite of the games to play so far. Catching mechanics are fun and it is very much ending up where I have done possible a bit to much grinding. I don't need a level 32 Dewott this early on the game.
-
Spent a couple of hours trying to find a 2' 8" Buizel for a request, and after final getting one after catching 93 of them, I went and accidently evolved it into a Floatzel. Should've paid more attention to which of my numerous Buizels I was using when evolving them for Pokedex data for Floatzel. Well, after I sleep it is back to trying to get another damn Buizel which is at least 2' 8".
-
-
Another +10 done, and unless I get lucky and pull either 2 Ingrids or 2 Adrift F!Corrins, Seliph should be my next +10 as I only need the 60k feathers for his final 3 merges, plus hopefully a +Atk copy.

Well had my interview today, and didn't even get out of town before I was phoned and told I had the job and I start tomorrow. Do think I still could've done the interview a bit better as there were times I had to pause to think of an answer as I struggle to list off my strengths, but it all worked out well considering I didn't prepare at all.
-
Hopefully, is reminding me a bit of school as I use to go straight to sleep or such after getting home. The moment I don't really have to think about stuff and can just sit back listening to music the tiredness just catches up. Not being a morning person and having to wake up early also doesn't help, especially since my body will pretty much always wake up a couple of hours before any alarm I set will go off.

Summoning on the new banner getting 2 Neimi (1 from the 40 pulls) and Ascended Joshua, as well as getting my final 2 merges for Sothe. Grinding out Forging Bonds should get me everything I need to get the final merge for Summer Norne as well.
-
Grinding is now done. Just need 300 Grails for the final merge on Julius, then I can figure out my next Grail Project. Averse would probably be the quickest choice as she is already at +5 and unlike the other choices of Summer Leonie and Ninja Shamir will actual get a refine. Though for now I can focus on spending feathers to merge Seliph. Plus with the upcoming banner forbweapon refines I may be able to get the final 2 merges for Adrift Female Corrin.

Well, my birthday is now over and it was pretty good. Me and family went out and saw Spiderman: No Way Home and it was a good movie. Though I am fairly easy to please as the only movie I left a showing of was Hotel for Dogs and that was entirely due to 10 year old me starting to cry so my mum took me outside. Other than that pretty uneventful, tomorrow I'm then going out with my older brother and my sister to a Japanese restaurant we haven't been to in a few years.
-
Bad portrait photo of dinner, not picture is dessert which was a nice sticky toffee pudding. Spent a good portion of dinner reminiscing about school, a place I was barely at because hurray for mental health issues. Now we are back on the train and my back is sore and the seats which are available are folding ones with no back support.

Got Shining Pearl last night and have a team planned out. Trying to mainly use 'mons I haven't used before, so with the exception of Torterra and Bastiodon, I've aiming for Drifblim, Milotic, and Snorlax. Haven't decided on a 6th 'mon yet as I was wanting a Fire type but I've used pretty much every available Fire type in the game at some point, bar Magcargo but since Slugma and Magcargo are locked behind the Nat Dex I cant use them.
-
Game has now been beaten, and Eury was the MVP in the Cynthia fight. Ankylo was my main anti-Barry 'mon as he could tank Staraptor well enough I could just set up all 6 Curses then sweep. Chasm didn't do much, outside of occasionally setting up Stealth Rock, as I deleted Metal Burst as his Naive nature was actually helping out speed most of the stuff Galactic Grunts the the time and then forget to get it back until after I entered the fight with Aaron. Mega had his big moment against Mars and Jupiter on Spear Pillar. Haikou was great againt Bertha and Flint. And finally there is Chal, who honestly was the worst performer as Eury was just better in every stat bar Sp.Atk and after getting the Razor Claw was guaranteed a Sniper crit. Ended the game with 9 Pokémon + the Manaphy and Riolu eggs. I need to play more Pokémon games without falling back on 'mons I've used before, cause that was kinda fun.

Got all my 'mons caught. Couldn't find any Drifloon in the underground so I gave up and just caught a Ponyta. Nickname's are all based on prehistoric creatures. Eury is from the Eurypterids (or Sea Scorpions), Chasm from Chasmosaurus, Mega from Megatherium, Ankylo from Ankylosaurus, Chal from Chalicotherium, and Haikou from Haikouichthys. Next step is get enough Berries to get Haikou to evolve.
