  1. Incrementor
    EARTH
    ✪ (Level 1)
    [Cyberse/Effect]
    ATK/ 500 DEF/ 500

You can pay LP in multiples of 500 (max. 5500); Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, this card gains 1 Level for every 500 LP you paid and 500 ATK for every 1000 LP you paid. You can only use this effect of "Incrementor" once per turn.

    Concept and Wordplay:

    Spoiler

    https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/incrementor

The concept is basically going to represent the above topic in the form of some cybernetic "teacher" wielding sword-shaped rulers in each hand as weapons.... Because rulers are used to measure in increments (Durrr..). Funnily enough because Level 12 is the limit... One could perhaps even see that this could also relate to the U.S. Customary unit of a foot being 12 inches.

Basically, the wordplay is simple as I just repurpose the word itself in form of a portmanteau.

    Portmanteau/ Repurposed Word= Increment + Mentor

    Tips:

    Spoiler
    • Searchable via Cynet Mining and Lady Debug. Cynet Mining especially makes this card more splashable for a wide range of Decks.
    • Because of the extreme Level modification this card is capable of, this card can be paired well with https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/The_Calculator for a potential OTK.
    • Universal for Extra Deck monsters, especially Xyz/ Synchro Summoning.

  2. Okay so I have been trying to figure out how to fit an image perfectly into the Cover Photo Slot for my profile... And I haven't had much success figuring what measurements I need for the photo I have made. My photo keeps getting inconveniently cropped with the "Reposition Photo" especially when a resize or maximize the web screen... Is there an ideal measurement that the cover photo has to be for it to fit in when web screen is maximized or resized without me needing to "Reposition" the photo or is it an impossible feat without changing up Neo Card Maker's coding?

  3. Boomboxen Neon Mk I (9/20/2019)

    Spoiler

    https://imgur.com/vor4cYz.jpeg

So this is suppose to be a neon light version of one of my favorite monsters in Yugioh, Morphtronic Boomboxen  https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Morphtronic_Boomboxen

This is more or less me attempting to make a banner for my profile here so yeah ... Background is admittedly dull to me, and I think I got carried away with the blending options on Photoshop as the neon lights of each color try to override each other... Not really sure what to do about that. But, yeah. Will make fixes as a I see fit soon.

    Boomboxen Neon MK II (9/21/2019)

    Spoiler

    https://imgur.com/Cz1rBtu.jpeg

So I went ahead and added the yellow neon light stars to complement the purple eyes and text. Also, added wires, frames, and a cord... With shading to all those things to accentuate depth. Additionally, made the background an interior stucco wall as oppose to a brick one. Needless to say I like this way better as it is now. Not sure if there needs to be anymore changes.

  4. So... Out of a whim I went ahead and bought the "Profile Song" feature, and for the life of me I can't figure out how to use it. Is it under profile edit somewhere or do I have to do something else?? It would have kind of have helped if there was a description about the item of purchase on how to implement for those unfamiliar...

  5. Banking Jar Concept:

    Spoiler
    https://imgur.com/5coC9RW.jpeg

So this is a concept I am currently working on in regards to a CC I made not too long ago (and one to help break my hiatus and rustiness):
    https://neocardmaker.com/index.php?/topic/1994-banking-jar/&tab=comments#comment-11415

The concept is suppose to be akin to the likes of Morphing Jar and his brethren https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Jar , except this one is a piggy bank... jar *shrug* It has been repurposed; just go with that! In relation to the flavor to the art, the card utilizes coin tosses so yeah I thought the piggy bank being a coin storage is good why to tie the theme together. Another thing to note is that I didn't really know what fantasy currency Konami's artist were using so I borrowed Prediction Princess Coinorma's coin design https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Prediction_Princess_Coinorma

Critique and/or suggestions are welcome despite much to be done (e.g. Shading, Lighting, better line art, texture, overall cleaning, and different, more detailed background). Expect a few updates in the next couple of days.

Why the hard OPT? Witch such extreme effect and fsctoring that it's a Flip monster, you may as well go all out and let players attempt to set up multiple activations in the same turn xD
Not a fan of extreme cards like this but I understand that it's intended to be this way. Either you dedicate your deck to manipulate the coin tosses in which case you deserve the draw pluses IMO, or just take your chances. I'm guessing it's DARK/Rock to deny it from getting too much support? Because EARTH/Rock would be more convenient, although as a DARK it gets decent support here and there.

It more has to do with Empty Jar Decks being a thing since they run all those Book of Eclipses, Book of Moon, and Book of Tayous, and keep regaining resources from their Jars... But, then I realize Empty Jar isn't really played that much anymore (Probably because regular Morphing Jar is at 1 in both TCG and OCG). Just being cautious to a fault. XD I guess I can drop the HOPT. DARK/Rock is more for flavor that I can't show without the image... But, I am working on this one after my long digital art hiatus. So you may see why soon.

So a Jar monster that also works as a bigger Cup of Ace?

I don't know about this one. There are cards that help manipulate your coin tosses, but you usually wouldn't want to make space in your Deck for these cards just for the opportunity to improve your chances on this card's results. And having to Set it is a little slow. It's a potentially big boon, but I think the caveats I mentioned balance things out. Cards based much more on chance aren't used as much. Desperado Barrel Dragon sees play in Duel Links, but not really in the main card game. I think this card's okay, but I think the number of cards could be reduced to 4.

Yeah I am under the impression that gambit cards should be ridiculous. XD I think the big reason why they aren't used now is because the power of the best results of most of them have been powercrept to death making it less and less worth it to even bother using them.... In some cases, like Lucky Punch the odds are so low on getting the best result anyways. But, yeah I'll consider the possibility of dropping the coin tosses to 4.

Hmmm... Question on the Duel Links thing since I am not very familiar with its environment...Do people use Desperado because there is a "skill" that modifies or improves chances of getting the result you want? I thought I glanced at something along those lines.

  8. Okay that is a little more like it! Redoer isn't going to always be able abuse its stunning effect so this gives you more reinforcement on that strat in the off chance that you don't get Flyback or pull a trap from your opponent's Deck. That attach effect is a nice touch too as not only can it offer Redoer materials to gain effects, but in certain situations it could be good to store something you negated that you wouldn't want in your opponent's Graveyard.

To top this all off, you could technically splash this in any Rank 4 heavy Deck (e.g Heraldic Beast) since Redoer is pretty much generic, I mean who wouldn't want an Infernity Barrier for their Deck?

This card looks cool to me. Gives the Meklords an much needed indirect upgrade, and the card also works like a Dragonic Diagram, allowing combos, and without taking the Field Spell. Although the hard OPT makes it more like Sky Iris, but the purpose is the same.

Actually I'm not sure if you the effect lets you grab a Meklord and Summon it right away after the destruction effect, since it's an "A, and if you do, B" simultaneous effect. I would need to check rulings, and if that's the case, you may want to fix it because searching and dropping, let's say, Wisel right away, which will be able to snatch an opponent's monster, seems a bit scary to me.

Yeah the ruling I am not certain on.... I thought miss-timing wouldn't apply if the destruction is the last thing that happen, but then I am not entirely sure. I want to be more keen on the ruling before I consider changes, but I am kind of struggling on where to look for a good example.

I'm not entirely concerned on snatches this could generate because this essentially makes all the Meklord Emperor into Relinquish which is not the most feared thing atm since it is quite often a 2nd turn strat... On top of that they all have that awkward Malefic-esque attack restriction. Though Wisel does have that Spell negation which is another thing that might offer some Decks a better ceiling with this card...

Admittedly, I am not sure how I would want to change things if the ruling does favor the Meklord Emperor's not missing timing off this card's effect.

Not too familiar with Time Thieves except for Redoer, but I do find this as a clever way of attaching Time Thief Spell/Traps to Redoer by using them as Xyz Material and access the different effects. Not too comfortable with the with the Summon lock on the last effect, but I guess it's only fair? IDK, personally I'm just not a fan of such restrictions in general.

So what if make the restriction exclusive to just Xyz in general... Would that be better? Rank 4 is a pretty diverse toolbox is the thing that makes me hesitant. XD

  11. So totally... Meh. I mean yeah cool extra mats for Redoer, but the fact that you need to set up to get 3 different Time Thief cards within the entire Main Deck spectrum of Yugioh is just awful. Most consistent way to do that atm is to use Flyback while you control Redoer and that cost you turn of set up on your opponent's turn. The hand Special Summon effect is kind of... Pointless considering you can run any other Rank 4 engine that was made in the Xyz era and still be good.

  12. Bog Frog

    WATER

    ✪✪ (Level 2)

    [Aqua/Effect]

    ATK/ 1400 DEF/ 800

(Quick Effect): You can send this card from your hand or your the field to the GY; take 1 "Wetlands" from your Deck, and either activate it or add it to your hand. While this card is banished, Aqua monsters you control gain 300 ATK and DEF.

    Support To:

    Referenced Field Spell (Wetlands):

  13. PSCT Fix:

Only 1 monster may declare an attack per turn.  If a monster attacks: The turn player gives control of it to their opponent at the end of the Battle Phase.  If this card is targeted by a card effect: The player who targeted this card must send 2 cards from their hand or side of the field to the GY, otherwise negate the targeting card's effect.

I made this fix with the intent of it saying what I think you mean for the 2nd effect since I didn't fully understood it (it said you gave control of monsters that attack to your opponent which didn't make sense when it came to their own monsters) until I really thought about it.

1st effect is a built in https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/The_Dark_Door, but I can appreciate this because: If you don't feel like having your opponent attacking anything successfully, you could pair this with https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Scrap-Iron_Scarecrow to stop their only attack every time you wanted to.

Also, you can get around the switch control effect by playing Spirit or Yosenju monsters and attacking with them since their return to your hand effect is mandatory from either side.

Last effect hmm... Well I hope the person that would need to remove this thing has a card that doesn't target.... Otherwise yikes... That is a painful effect to deal with... Especially if Twin Twisters or Knightmare Phoenix is their only answer. XD

As for the card as whole, it is pretty stally and not a lot Decks can work around it with their playstyle. But, for the Decks that can utilize this... It acts as a way for their opponent to be playing in an uphill battle.

  14. Mektech Synchro Signature
    [Continuous Spell]

Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; it is treated as a Synchro monster until your opponent's next End Phase. You can add 1 "Meklord" card from your Deck to your hand, and if you do, destroy 1 card you control. You can only use this effect of "Mektech Synchro Signature" once per turn.

    Support To:

    Concept:

    Spoiler

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infrared_signature

So it is derived from the above concept... Like infrared signature to military personal and so forth... This gives the Meklord Empereor the ability to detect monsters they couldn't normally target with their effects by making them into Synchro so now they can target them with their effects

  15. Time Thief Rift
    [Field Spell]

"Time Thief" monsters you control gain 300 ATK. While you have a "Time Thief" monster banished by your own card effect, any battle damage you take is halved. You can banish 1 card from your hand until your next Standby Phase, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Time Thief" Spell/Trap Card from your hand or GY as a Normal Monster (Machine/DARK/Level 4/ATK 0/ DEF 0), also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except "Time Thief" monsters. You can  only use this effect of "Time Thief Rift" once per turn.

Yeah, short-cutting into Meliae, Ingunar and other Plant Xyzs is sweet and all, but still, what if they make a stand-alone Rank10+ Plant with a potent effect and intended to be Summoned normally or with a RUM effect? After all, they did randomly make big Xyzs like that Super Giant Robo Destroyer whatever. At least you could make it require the Rank of the Xyz to match 1 of the Levels of the targeted monster. That way there is little risk of dropping big Xyzs unless Sylvans get Level9+ members, and requires further set-up to access the bigger Xyzs.

Hmmm... It makes you have to run Guardioak for Igunar and Marshaleaf for Meliae ( I am not even going to consider Mikorange that thing is the worst Sylvan XD). And if you really wanted to, you could include the even less used Level 4 Sylvan for Blackship of Corn or Traptrix Rafflesia. Sylvan builds as of late have been hesitant to use a lot of their members, but this would grant more incentive to do so. I like it... Great suggestion. Thank you.

Reminds me of Evo-Singularity, although this gets a bit more of support from Sylvan, for whatever that's worth because their supportive effects can be a bit awkward due to the reliance on excavations. I guess that's something xD
Summoning any Plant Xyz is too broad and IMO lascks futureproofing because no one knows if/when koomy will ever make an OPed high-Rank Plant Xyz that this card would be able to access. IMO Summoning any Sylvan Xyz should suffice, ad the choices they have are decent to good.
Also, I would be more comfortable with the card if it required to you to target at least 2 monsters, that way it needs a bit more of set-up and deck dedication, or at least give the illusion that it does.

Hmmm I think I am fine with leaving it open ended to Plant Xyz to offer more utility to the deck: I made the decision to offer Sylvan access to 2 things in mind

    https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Meliae_of_the_Trees

    https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Fairy_Knight_Ingunar

Sure we won't be able to determine what possible Plant Xyz powerhouse that they may concoct in the future, but to me it seems unlikely especially since Plant Xyz only have been represented in 2 archetype so far (Traptrix and Sylvans, and I am under the impression they won't make another Plant Xyz Traptrix without making an Insect 1 first, and given the span of things that even seems unlikely given their play style.) ... And they only made a handful of generic/semi-generic Plant Xyz. If they do manage to do so, well then I will look back at this idea as a bad one in the my Cloud storage time capsule in that future to come. XD

However, I did in fact take your suggestion up on making a minimal requirement. Since yeah... Excavated mills have to look the effort.

  18. Sylvan Unity

    [Normal Spell]
Target any number of "Sylvan" monsters with different Levels (min. 2); Special Summon 1 Plant Xyz monster from your Extra Deck whose Rank is same as 1 of the target's Levels, and then attach all of the targets to it as material. You can only activate 1 "Sylvan Unity" once per turn.

  19. Toasterror
    FIRE
    ✪✪✪✪ (Level 4)
    [Thunder/Effect]
    ATK/1500 DEF/1600

Once per turn: You can discard up to 2 cards; this card gains 500 ATK for each card you discarded until your next Standby Phase, also, during next Standby Phase, destroy a number of cards on the field equal to the number of cards you discarded.

    Concept and Wordplay:

    Spoiler

    Portmanteau= Toaster + Terror

So it is suppose to be a possessed toaster https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toaster

The effect even accentuates the concept much like a toaster as in you when discard cards you are "inserting the bread" and during the next Standby Phase you get the end result of the toaster... Toast!

In that case of Myrmeleo, basically it becomes a chainable Normal Trap with the effect:
    Activate 1 of these effects:
    - Add 1 "Hole" Trap from your Deck to your hand.
    - Destroy 1 Spell/Trap

Although I have been thinking on the cases of Rai-Oh and Koa'ki rocks. If this card's effect is intended to ignore costs and conditions, then the condition of responding the the activation of an effect or a Summon would also be skipped, thus IDK if mechanically speaking those effects can be turned into chainable Normal Trap effects. Unless the PSCT is clear enough to enable that.

Also I now lean towards limiting the first effect to targeting Level 4 or lower monsters, otherwise it can get messy with big or ED monsters. E.g. I'm guessing it wouldn't be amusing to Set any of the Guardragon Links to re-use their effects during the next turn.

Well, in that case...  I actually love the idea considering it warps the nature of the effects of monsters it turns into Normal Traps. I am trying to fathom as much of the possibilities from the card pool as I can... Haven't found anything problematic... Yet.

EDIT: Except this win condition on legs https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Flying_Elephant

Although I am not sure how it would interact with this card considering the bullet effect. Would you have the option to ignore the conditions and have Chainable trap that would read "You win the Duel."?

IDK if FIRE/Aqua is the most appropriate typing for a Wax monster. Impcantantion Candoll is LIGHT/Pyro, for instance.
I find amusing that this would be among the few, if not the only one, Level 4 or lower monsters with an OPT stun Quick Effect that doesn't require you to spend on card advantage (e.g. Tribute, discard, etc.). I remember Kozmo Dark Lady , but she is Level 5 xD
The first effect is funny, but if you are running this, most likely your deck has a consistent way to reduce the ATK of the opponent's monsters through other means. Burden of the Mighty comes to mind to negate maindeck monsters before they become or enable ED plays, as well as some of the scale effects of Qlis. Oh wait, Knightmare Mermaid would be a relatively practical way to enable the effect, too, except currently in OCG since it's banned there.
Overall I like it. Even if a level 4 or lower monster with a stun quick effect were to be controversial, this requires set-up or deck dedication to function optimally, so it should be alright.

I kind of disagree with Konami's typing choice there... You see when I think of Pyro/LIGHT I think fireworks, or representation of suns or stars in the universe. As for a candle... I don't know I view it as more of your typical Pyro/Fire. Since the subject is based  melted candle wax I thought I could take the artisitic license to make it either Pyro/WATER or Aqua/FIRE. It is a subjective topic though so... Yeah I'll leave it at that.

As far as Level 4 with Quick Effect negation without a cost. There is good ol' Justice Bringer https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Justice_Bringer ... But, he only stops Special Summoned monsters who activate their effects, and because of his small body he never left a lasting impression on anybody. XD
