Summer Darj 292 Posted January 7, 2019 DANE-JP079 スノーマン・エフェクト Snowman EffectNormal Trap Card You can only activate a card with this card’s name once per turn. (1) Target 1 face-up monster you control; that monster gains ATK equal to the total original ATK of all other monsters you control until the end of the turn, but that monster cannot attack directly that turn. IDK you but it doesn't look amazing to me. Thoughts?
ChaosKnux 1 Posted January 7, 2019 I take it as high risk, high reward. If your opponent pops it, you'll get nothing but the satisfaction that they didn't pop another card. But if you can get it to survive in something like Cyber Dragons, it could very quickly trigger an OTK.
Sleepy 211 Posted January 7, 2019 (edited) It's just a big dumb +ATK card in the least convenient mechanic (Trap) nowadays. It immediately makes me think of the Link 3 Crusadia, which would probably be the go-to card if this was the attempt. Ways to improve: - Until the end of the turn - Target 1 face-up monster on the field The direct attack clause would be pretty situational to take advantage of unlike with stuff like Staunch Defender rulings or Massivemorph's not caring for a board, but at least it'd be something. Ultimagamer 21 Posted January 11, 2019 (edited) How many more battle trap cards that just change attack values to we need in 2019? It's pretty gimmicky, even in casual settings ( where battle trap cards have the potential to do things, unlike most competitive settings ). It outs Chaos Max for sure, but borrelsword and borreload also do that ( granted, this card will probably be cents when it comes out, but borreload will be reprinted in the future, in the Duel Power set, so it probably won't be a big problem price wise ) Edited January 11, 2019 by Ultimagamer
