The more furious that the Gardevoir had become the more assured that Nine was that they would. The pressure was starting to show in her expression, word and otherwise manic fighting style. She was still not finished though and she was definitely still a threat. So, the two of them couldn't afford to make even one slip up in this final moment. Trying to defend against her - much less attack her - was proving to be quite difficult in the face of her rapid teleportation. His eyes could barely keep up with her, and they only managed to settle on her when she took the time to stop and attack. As a result, his responses to such attacks were slowed down and he was, at best, able to respond with an attack of his own purely to help him evade the attack. Still, the bolts of electricity were still getting through and he knew he had to do something about this. So, as he had against his last foe he simply focused inward. Nine was not like his mother and could not actually track another person's aura. He did not have a sixth sense that would allow him to "see" another person and the course of their attacks. But, he did have knowledge and instinct. Knowledge gained from each of his opponents up until this point. Instinct polished by all of his battles. And so even if he could not "see" her or her attacks, every so often he could "feel" them. He could form a prediction based on intuition and through that, be able to tell where she would go. That alone wasn't enough; it was neither perfect and the sheer amount of teleportations made it unreliable for him to try and predict them all. He had to cut the useless information to sharpen his senses even further. The ones that mattered to predict were the ones where she gave an opening, the ones where she attacked. As he focused, Nine sharply turned to face the woman as she was attacking Easter. He had noticed too late and the window to retaliate was closed. But, he was getting closer. She wasn't doing much in way of hiding her intent and Nine was starting to get a good feel for this spastic rhythm of hers. It wasn't as though there was a pattern he could discern but he could just feel when the opening arrived. Focusing for that opening, Nine continued to wait for the woman's attack, and when he noticed turned to face her. He had seen her, charging her hand with purple energy as she began to draw a line with it. First line. Second line. As she was drawing the final line on her triangle, a pulse of darkness struck her dead on, interrupting her drawing. The purple prism that was starting to form around Easter shattered. The woman glared at Nine after receiving his attack. It didn't even take some sixth sense for him to realize he was next. Looking around, Nine saw the woman teleport around, stopping while she was a fair distance away. With flame already charged in his hand though, Nine let loose a stream of fire as Ankou let loose lightning towards him. The two attacks were angled so as to pass each other by, rather than collide, and both opponents managed to strike each other. Nine winced as the lightning coursed through his body, and Ankou as well was knocked back by the fire, her wild hair slightly singed by it. Seeing the look on her face again, Nine could tell what was coming next. Recovering from the attack, Nine stood up charging his arm with darkness as the woman teleported in front of him. Looking her dead in the eye, Nine's body seemed to be moving backwards and his eyes glanced to the side. In that moment. Ankou paused her teleportation, remembering what had happened she had teleported behind him last time. It was only a moment of hesitation as she tried to figure out which direction to go. And that moment was what Nine had planned for. Going from moving backwards into a lunge, Nine brought his fist forward and slammed it into the face of Ankou. Caught off guard by the Houndoom's sudden attack, Ankou was knocked off of her feet and launched backwards. With her momentum of teleporting being cut short, the woman found it harder to do so as exhaustion was now catching up with her. Nine's breathing as well was once again ragged, feeling his own fatigue from having to keep up with such a foe. His eyes widened and he put his arms to brace himself against the next attack, however, as Ankou was still not done. Firing a thunderbolt which Nine was unable to dodge, Ankou slowly got back onto her feet. "Easter!" Nine shouted as his knees buckled under the pain of electricity moving through his whole body. Still, he smiled as he looked to his companion shouting, "she's all yours!" Though Marie had managed to pick herself back up, she froze in place for a moment as the Lucario spoke. There was a sense of immediate dread that washed over her, followed by a slight rush of terror. The girl gulped but, staying true to her own words, bit her lip as she tried to keep focused on fighting the Godslayer. As his aura swelled up, becoming visible for all to see, Marie watched as he let loose a barrage of aura spheres. Diving out of the way of the attack, she managed to avoid the attack at first glance. However as she picked herself back up, it seemed that the orb had swerved and arced back upwards before diving towards the girl. Seeing this, Marie rolled to the side again and the Aura sphere managed to miss her and instead crashed into the ground right next to her. The force of the attack was still made apparent, merely the impact of it against the ground still forcing Marie away and causing her to roll further across the ground. Coughing Marie tried to pick herself up. The girl looked to see Jabari dive at the Lucario once again, only for him to get his back slammed by both of the Lucario's fists. The girl grit her teeth as it seemed that even the strongest of them was starting to lose against this unstoppable force. Yet still, Marie wouldn't back down from her opponent. She'd keep fighting until she couldn't anymore. Because he was a bully and the only thing to do was stand up against them. Working herself up for a third time, the girl slowly rose to her feet as her aura seemed to gain a more aqueous look to it.
