When you catfish, it means that you pretend to be something that you aren't , towards a specific person or people. So when you catfish gender-wise, it means that the "weapon" you use to approach or just to talk to someone is a gender that you want them to think you are.
Therefore, if someone wants to talk to girls, is a girl themselves and want to make them think that you're a boy, that's gender-related catfishing. Same for boys to boys. However, if you want to talk to people of the opposite gender than you, you can't use gender as your "weapon" because you already are the opposite gender. -

I forgot to tell you good morning earlier today. So, good evening.

I had this weird dream last night. I was in this weird flat rectangular room where a giant rectangle whole was cut out in the middle leading to nothing. A loud announcer voice shouts "Thanos is coming!" twice, and this guy comes at me with a comically large hammer while I try to rocket jump away from him with a tf2 rocket launcher, and firing rockets at him while he shoots sonic waves at me with his hammer. He's literally invincible to rockets, and I get down to 25 health, and I'm just doing small hops around this rectangle while still being chased. I wake up weirdly after that.
