    As I approach the end of this first book of my written work, I'm going to be making some sweeping changes to several characters, including Jared, Christina, and Leroy. Mostly their inherited gods. Their elements will remain the same but their gods will be different. Based on their character development, their history, and their nature, the gods they have currently just don't fit.

      Christina's god will be changed the most drastically. Her "god" is no longer a god. Rather, her source of power will be a giant of Norse mythology, named Surtr. The reason for this is mostly related to her character and abilities, but also a giant hint at book two. Though you would have to study Surtr to understand why. ?

      Jared's god will be changed from Susanoo to Zeus. Susanoo is a god of storms, not lightning. Plus, Zeus is a deity whose rage is well known. It suits Jared.

      Leroy's change is still up in the air (no pun intended).

      The only reason I'm not changing Amaris, Riku, Mia, and Destiny is because their gods already fit them so incredibly well.
