    can someone explain to me what the difference is between the blogs tab and the listed section down near misc and all because they appear to be seperate things and it's confusing me as to whether i have used the right one

    When you catfish, it means that you pretend to be something that you aren't , towards a specific person or people. So when you catfish gender-wise, it means that the "weapon" you use to approach or just to talk to someone is a gender that you want them to think you are. 
    Therefore, if someone wants to talk to girls, is a girl themselves and want to make them think that you're a boy, that's gender-related catfishing. Same for boys to boys. However, if you want to talk to people of the opposite gender than you, you can't use gender as your "weapon" because you already are the opposite gender.
