Porter Robinson is back with a new song and album coming this year. He also made a statement about his abscence, and it's worth reading, it's quite powerful and self actualized, it's in the comments on the video and elsewhere.

Well, I love Fallout, so I had to play it to see how bad it was, turned out, it was exaggerated, though I didn't play at launch either, got it for Christmas 2018. I don't claim that it's a great game, it's lacking a lot of what makes Fallout great, but exploring can still be fun, if you like the notes and terminals, they got some of that, some locations and missions were memorable here and there. I stopped playing after having explored the map from top to bottom.

Oh, I tried seeing what time it was at other places and it didn't seem like it was the 9th at even New Zealand when you posted, but maybe it isn't the same day after all, since hers is the 8th.
Wow, wild how places are even further ahead than that. I just happened to hear about the international date line for the first time since Sweet Life on Deck, reading some things. (either that, or you just said a random date, not just the day ahead, but lol)

Just learned you can upload gifs as avatars, so that's fun, too bad I had to convert the gif to a lower resolution so it would work with the limited space, wish it was 1MB instead, that would have been perfect for this gif.

Outer Worlds. I usually don't have time nor the want to play RPG games. They haven't clicked with me in almost a decade. When I was young I played lots of RPGs but now I got bored usually 15 minutes in. It was free on game pass so I downloaded it and gave it a shot. I've beat the game 5 times now. It's a great game and I'm impressed that it kept me so immersed.

Ever had your 5-year old half-brother watch you play a game? He watched me play Link's Awakening on the Switch for quite a while, he commented on ever little bit of the game he could, it was both annoying and fascinating to see someone who has no idea what's going on and no concept of games try to figure out what the hell is going on.

I beat Gears 5. I can't say it reinvented the wheel, but it did introduce some cool new things, like open world mechanics, a robot that gains various abilities, and the game does look very pretty at times, but it's mostly the same kind of gameplay I have seen again and again. It was worth playing for free on Xbox Game Pass, but yeah, I wouldn't have played all the games if they hadn't all been on that service.

Just one more day until the VRAINS finale, and overall, it was another YGO anime. I honestly just found it a little bit boring overall, the plot of ARC-V was perhaps all over the place at times, but it was a more interesting idea, and I always felt that nothing really mattered, because we are in a virtual world, while yeah, they do have that coma thing that somehow can happen, but still, it doesn't seem to really matter, as characters who seem to lose don't really die or anything, they just kind of log off I guess? I also wish they explored the world more, with virtual reality, you could do a bunch of cool things, but it's so rarely explored. Yusaku is duller than cardboard, AI is pretty annoying, villains are mediocre and the plot seems to get lost in the complexity of it all, it was really just another YGO anime, nothing special, but had fun duels at times, and has probably the highest number of Archetypes I would like to see in the real game at some point.
