Yea, now imagine someone going from as excited as you are to being totally crest fallen and upset at a critical design choice. My general excite about today dropped when I started thinking about how idiotic and confusing this design choice was. It took one of the games I was personally most excited about and dampened my excitement towards it. 

Hoping into a persons status feed to go "don't care how you feel, I got mine" just makes you come off as an asshole. And sure, you can post that, but I have every right to tell you you're acting like an ass and that you should check yourself. 

You're actually telling me I can't give an opinion, because it might upset someone, without being an asshole. While saying it doesn't matter that I was bothered by the original statement myself.

Despite that, even though it bothered me, all I responded with was my point of view. I didn't tell him he couldn't have the opinion. I didn't say his opinion was wrong. I just said how I felt on the matter. Meanwhile you're telling me off for a couple sentences explaining my thoughts.

To me, a large part of pokemon was cross gen team building. I'm really let down that I've been deprived of that. For me, pkmn is dead if they're just gonna reset the old gens as I understood they would today
