“A” sounds good to me too. Also, I saw a meme on your digimon literally just the other day. A shoe that turns into little red riding hood with a molotov xD. Only in digimon folks lol.

    Australian Wildfire

“Fire is a wondrous thing. It keeps you warm, lights your way, even heats your food. Burning everything in your path to me counts as all three.”

    Name: Liza Taylor

    Age: 24

    Gender: Female

    -Appearance-

    ZvWEWsf.jpg?s=sms

    Height: 5’8”

    Weight: 125lbs

    -Personality-

Due to what happened to her and her family, Liza is distant when it comes to socializing with others. Not that she’s shy, but because she doesn’t want to become close to other people, fearing the pain of losing another loved one. Besides that, Liza is fairly polite when in conversation and, when it comes to protecting others or fighting those who would bring harm to others, is very brave. She can be a bit reckless though, trying to take on more than she really should, in the hopes that nobody goes through the same pain she went through.

    -Biography-

    Nothing here, mate.

    -Abilities-

Solar Blades - Liza creates superheated blades of pure fire from her hands that can easily cut through thick metal plates. The length of the blades depend on the shape her hands are in. Ex: A blade from the tip of her fingers can reach several inches, while putting all her fingers together can create a blade that can reach over a couple feet in length.

Fire Surf - Liza generates a platform of fire under her feet, allowing her glide through the air at high speeds. She can kick off the platform to launch it as a projectile.

Scorched Earth - By cloaking herself in fire and falling down from the air, Liza ground pounds and releases a fiery explosion around her, burning anything within the vicinity.

Heat Haze - By superheating the air around her, Liza can cause a visual illusion in the area around her. Anyone caught in this area will begin to lose a sense for their surroundings, as if they were stuck in a burning desert.

Plasma Beam - Putting her hands together, Liza begins to fire a constant stream of flames. She starts to concentrate and focus the flames into a single point, slowly turning the flames into a concentrated beam of superheated plasma. The thin beam can easily penetrate and melt anything it hits.

    Name: Eris Tomonara

    Username: LazyEye219

    Age: 20

    Gender: Female

Appearance: In the MMO, Eris uses an avatar based off of Medusa, Watcher of the Evil Eye. She’s modified the appearance to match her real self by changing the hair length to be just below the neck, and the color to a platinum blonde. She also changed the one yellow eye to be blue.

In reality, Eris’s eyes are indeed blue and her hair is a very light blonde. She’s rather pale, a bit on the short side, and tends to wear hoodies with sleeves so long that they dangle a bit over her hands.

Personality: Eris is a bit of a procrastinator, usually leaving small tasks to other people. While this comes off of being lazy, she is a team player when it counts and is willing to help when something big comes up. She’s also a bit on the quiet side, never really engaging in conversation much, unless it’s about something important. She never really shows any anger or hatred towards anyone or anything, keeping a mellow and calm demeanor, and shrugging off anything that would irritate others.

Biography: Eris doesn’t talk much about her real life. The most she has shared with anyone is that she wasn’t originally born in Japan, but rather she and her parents moved there to live closer to other family members. Growing up, she didn’t have the best luck making friends. She would always come across as boring to those around her. As a result, she grew to be very reserved and quiet, spending her days either holed up in her room, or playing Duel Monsters. Duel Monsters was really the only hobby she had that involved interaction with other people, using it as a means to try and make friends but to no avail.

When Battle Horizon came out, she figured this would be the best chance she had. It was way easier to look interesting to people online than it was in reality, at least that’s what she thought. Once she joined, she made sure to do whatever she could to make new friends, keeping to herself as a solo player when her attempts weren’t exactly bearing fruit. But it wasn’t until the disbanding of the top team, Royal Flush, that she decided to join an actual team herself. With a bunch of new teams forming up, she’d have no problem finding one that would accept her.

    Deck: Evil Eye Dominance

Eris uses a deck containing the Evil Eye archetype, a group of cards focused around the use of Medusa and Serziel who, lore wise, fight over the power of the Evil Eye of Selene. This Equip Card is the centerpiece of the archetype. Through the cost of life points, Eris can reap the benefits of the Evil Eye of Selene, empowering her Spells/Traps and the monster it’s equipped too. Her endgame goal is to summon the Link versions of Medusa and Serziel, Gorgon and Zerrziel, who serve as her deck’s boss monsters.

    Deck Skills

Fiendish Gaze: Target a Fiend-Type monster on your side of the field. That monster gains ATK and DEF equal to its Level/Rank/Link Rating x200, then all of your opponent’s face-up monsters lose ATK and DEF equal to that monster’s Level/Rank/Link Rating x200. (cooldown 3)

Equipment Renewal: Discard a card from your hand to the GY; Add an Equip Spell from your GY, or that has been Banished, to your hand or equip it to an appropriate target on the field. If equipped by this effect, that Equip Spell cannot be destroyed by card effect until the end of your next turn. (cooldown 2)

Ravenous Destruction: Target a monster on your side of the field. During the next Battle Phase, if the targeted monster destroys an opponent’s monster by battle, gain life points equal to the destroyed monster’s ATK or DEF (whichever is higher). (cooldown 2)

  5. Spoiler

    Name: Sienna

    Age: 26

    Gender: Female

    Birthplace: Pelinna Forest

    Appearance

"Looks like... my journey ends... here..."

    5'9" 139 lbs.

Sienna actually has a very fluffy fox tail, instead of a cat tail in the above image.

     Personality

Being a Kitsune Tribesman, Sienna is fiercely loyal to her friends and allies, and will do whatever she can to help them. She is rather outgoing and very curious of the world, making her a bit gullible when it comes to learning new things, though her high intelligence usually helps her to not fall for false information. Sienna also has an innate curiosity towards anything magical, she'll study and try to learn all she can about any magic she's unfamiliar with, including tomes, curses, and seals.

Despite her loyalty and willingness to help her companions, Sienna is not one for doing physical labor, of course this doesn't include fighting, but she would rather be reading and/or studying than doing anything related to physical labor. Sienna also hates it when her studies are interrupted, and she will let everyone know that she doesn't want to be disturbed. She also may have an attraction towards other females, this is hinted at as she may try to make herself seem impressive around girls, funnily enough she also has a bit of a hard time talking to other girls as she looks slightly nervous when she does. Despite all her shortcomings, Sienna is still a very loyal and helpful ally to the end, and is more than happy to share her knowledge with others.

     Biography

Sienna was born the daughter of her tribe's chief, on the edge of the Pelinna Forest. Sienna was always an unusual child, as she was born with more of an aptitude towards magic than other Kitsune. This became apparent when Sienna started taking an interest to studying magical tomes and items. When Sienna turned 16, she was given her very own beaststone, but much to everyone's surprise, she couldn't effectively use it.

A few years later, Sienna's father gifted her a special beaststone, one that Sienna could use effectively without any problems. This beaststone was an item that Sienna's village received when they were visited by a mysterious merchant who was looking for a place to rest. The merchant gave the beaststone as a thank you gift, saying that it was a one of a kind treasure.

Years later, Sienna grew a distinct curiosity to the world outside her village and decided to venture out. Sienna's village was sad to see her go, but they wished her luck on her travels. Sienna said farewell to the village that raised her and promised that she would returned one day and share all that she had learned and experienced with her village. And so Sienna set out on her travels, unaware that her travels would lead her on an adventure to stop an evil goddess.

  6. "It uhh, sounded like she was pretty important to you, so I'm sorry. But," she perked up, "you could probably ask one of the adults to guide you through the marsh if you wanted. I mean, since there's only one path, so they probably know where she ended up, unless uhh, Licorice went off the path, in which case, she's probably dead." She shook her head in horror. "Agh! I mean, uhh, that came out wrong. She's probably not dead since she's your friend and she was able to cross the river by herself and all. So, umm, yeah, don't worry?" she cringed slightly as she finished speaking.

Sienna was quiet, she didn't know what to think or do in this situation. And Phai really wasn't making the it any better. She stood up, a gloomy expression on her face as she looked at the swamp one more time before turning away. "Let's... Let's just go... Everyone is probably worried..." She said in a very quiet tone before starting to walk away, her tail low and dragging in the mud.

As far as Sienna was concerned, Licorice had no intention of returning at this point. And even if she had made it past the swamp somehow, she doubted that Licorice would even return. That desperate, crazed look she had at the sight of that stone beast being animated. That was the look of somehow who wasn't going to stop running even if they escaped. Tears welled up in Sienna's eyes as she walked, her friend was gone.

  7. It didn't take long for Icleias to pick up Licorice's scent again, and for Sienna and Phai to start running after him again. Sienna looked over at Phai as they ran, she was rather quick for human, being able to keep up with her and Icleias so well. And since Gunther stayed behind, they could cover more ground more easily. "Come on, Licorice... Where are you?" Sienna quietly mumbled to herself.

It took a bit before they found anything noteworthy until they stumbled upon an old bridge. Phai seemed against crossing it, but Icleias still had a scent and kept going, and so did the duo. They crossed the bridge and almost immediately found themselves in a more swampy terrain. The soft ground practically becoming muck as they slightly sunk into it a bit, so much so that they had to back up.

"This is the Great Marsh," Phai said softly as she stepped back to firmer footing. "We won't be able to go any farther. It's said that those who wander into this place and don't know the way find themselves swallowed up by the place." She gulped. "And I, uhh, don't know the path. There's said to be one, but I wasn't ever taught it."

No... This can't be the end. Even Icleias had given up as he dragged his muddy tail back towards the girls. This was the end of the line. "No... But... We can't just..." After coming this far, Sienna could only look towards the swamp in disbelief. Was her friend really just gone, scared off by something so unexpected? Sienna gritted her teeth and just let a loud, "Licorice!!" Before falling on her but in the mud. Her friend was gone, that was that.

  8. Before Sienna could say anything on the matter of Licorice's disappearance, Icleias seemed to catch her scent yet again and took off. She chased after the little dog, followed by Phai, Tsetseg, and Gunther. As they followed, Sienna could still tell that Licorice went through the area, only her tracks were becoming more and more absent. She must have changed back to her humanoid form as she was running, so as to hide her trail.

It wasn't long until the group finally made it back to the river they had crossed to get to the village. Only it was much wider this time and branched off in two directions, a different part of the river entirely.

"Uhh, it looks like we won't be able to go any farther," Phai said timidly. "I think that uhh, your friend might have crossed the river. Or something like that. And I don't think we should try and follow her. Not here, anyway. There is a place to cross south of here, but..." she looked up at the darkening late afternoon sky, "I think it might be better to just head back for now. Unless, you want to keep going?" She looked at the group with a nervous smile.

Sienna let out a sigh, it was getting late, and with Gunther with them it would be too exhausting to keep going. It seemed like this was all for naught, Licorice had just completely left.

"well, it's important to find your friends and family right? And you really want to find her right Sienna? So we gotta keep looking! After all, she's all by herself right now and the longer we wait the harder it'll be to follow her!"

"Ehhh?! W-Well, I suppose, that's, err, true, I guess," Phai said, twiddling her fingers together. "Umm...in that case, there's a place to cross not far from here, if you all are, uhh, fine with that."

Sienna was surprised by how Tsetseg was so willing to help her, it was moving to say the least. Phai lead the group up a steep hill, eventually pointing out a lone oak tree. She explained that she used a rope on the other side of the river as a means of getting back and quickly made the jump herself, Icleias right after her.

"I'm not sure I can keep going from here..."

Sienna was about to jump too when she heard Gunther's worried voice. She looked over to the knight and turned to him. "Well... You don't have to if you don't want to... This whole chase must be taking its toll on you more than anyone. You can head back if you want, but Gunther... I appreciate that you were willing to go this far just to help." She said with a small smile before turning back to the cliff and making her jump, landing beside Phai with ease.

  9. "Aye, and I think I know what ye want t'be tracked as well," he set down the stick. "It's that other fox, ain't it? I saw her meself, gone toward the eastern gate. Icleias here actually started chasing her fer a bit afore I stopped him."

Sienna sighed and bowed her head. "Please, sir... I promise to bring back your dog. I just... Need to find my friend." She said as she looked back up at the man. Amas allowed her and they went outside to where Icleias had last caught Licorice's scent, and it didn't take long for him to get it back. The pup started making a strange bark and took off.

"Best follow him if ye don't want to be left behind," Amas said as he returned to his woodcarving. Sienna didn't waste a second and went after the dog. Eventually they made it past the village gate, where Sienna caught a quick glance of the mayor before running past him. No time to talk unfortunately.

Running out of the village, Sienna was impressed at how focused this pup was. No wonder humans have gotten along with hunting so we'll, despite not having the same senses as a fox. She even started to see signs of Licorice as they ran, this pup, Icleias, was like a professional hunter. They soon made it to a pond where two people were wishing, one who looked like a guard from the village and... Tsetseg?

"Oh! Who are you?" She flushed slightly. "I mean, uhh, that was rude, sorry. But I don't know you are. Unless..." she brightened. "Are you one of Tsetseg's friends? I think I remember seeing you at the battle earlier!"

The guard girl seemed exceptionally surprised and flustered at the event, Sienna looked at Icleias and could tell that he had lost the scent. She gave a big sigh and rubbed her head. "Sorry for the commotion... I'm just trying to find my friend..." She said as she watched the beagle wander around with his nose to the ground. She then heard the clanking of armor behind her and turned around. "Gunther?"

    "What....is....going...on here?"

The knight seemed exhausted, as if he had been chasing after them the whole time. That couldn't have been easy considering the weight of his armor. "I... I was borrowing this dog from a person I helped... I'm trying to find out where Licorice went. But at this point... I'm starting to wonder if she just ran completely away..." She said as she just sat down quietly.

  10. Musical Duelist

    Name: Vance Akama

    Age: 19

    Birthday: October 30th

    Role: Standard

    cpsMDFF.png

    Height: 5'4"

    Weight: 105 lbs

Personality: Vance is rather outgoing, carefree, and friendly. He doesn't care much about how people think of him or his lifestyle and just goes with the flow. He isn't a fan of people who talk a mile-a-minute though and usually turns on some music to zone them out and ignore them. As a result, he never really did follow instructions well when attending college, but thankfully he always managed to scrape by. When dueling, he always has a smile on his face, which instinctively turns into a grin whenever he starts to get serious. Vance is also a bit of a prankster, usually playing jokes and tricks on people whenever he gets the chance.

Biography: Despite his parents being Japanese, Vance was born in the United States due to his parents moving to be closer to other family members. His birth was a strange one as he never cried once while in his mother's arms. At first they thought he wasn't long for this world, but it was later found out that he was just a really quiet child. As he grew up, he became a bit more vocal, but he still wouldn't talk much to those he didn't know and was generally a quiet boy. Vance eventually developed a love for music and playing instruments.

He even developed a fondness for Duel Monsters, with its many sound and music based cards. Despite this, he carried on with dueling, but only as a hobby, focusing more on his music at first. He even decided to pursue a career in music, going off to a college in Seattle to develop his skills. He soon found a course in music, and has now started working on playing the guitar, his favorite instrument.

Deck: Onomatopoeia Deck meant to easily bring out and rank-up Xyz monsters. The deck includes the usual Gagaga, Gogogo, Dododo, and Zubaba cards, but mostly contains Gagaga and Gogogo cards.

    Ace: Number 39: Utopia

Miscellaneous: -Vance's favorite music is rock n roll.

-Despite not being a part of his deck's strategy, Vance likes to use the Musical Djinn Xyz monsters.

-His favorite trick to pull on people is to write on their faces when they're asleep. He usually writes sound effects or draws shapes on them.

  11. "Aye, she was black all righ', an' big. Bigger than any normal fox. Seemed in a right hurry too, besides. I wis down the street from the town hall at the time. She almost ran me right over, tha' she did." He shook his head. "Hrrm...thought I was a goner fer sure. Didn't see where she was goin' though, only that she wis goin'."

Sienna's smile disappeared as Theusido explained that he didn't see where Licorice went. Why had she run so frantically away from the fight with that statue? Sienna never took her for the paranoid type, unlike the rest of the village. She pulled it over until Theusido asked another guardsman looking villager about Licorice.

"Ain't seen no foxes sides that one there. Don't be fooled by her looks; she's a hells-born horror, is what she is. I was almost burned to death cuz of her."

"Ach, stop whining, lad. From what the mayor said, ye'd still be a beaver if'n it weren't for her an' her friends."

Wait... Beaver? Burns? "Oh! You're that beaver I hit!" Sienna finally realized it. In her head, she was breathing a big sigh of relief. So she didn't end up killing him after all. Though, now it seemed she was not only being avoided by the villagers, now she was hated. Her ears flattened and she had a sad look on her face.

"An' you'll be right as rain in a tennight or so, more's the pity." He turned back to Sienna. "Ignore him. He's me sister's grandson, but he was born with more brass than brains. Now as fer yer foxy friend..." he closed his eyes again before opening them with a blink. "I dinna know where she might be, but Amas might. Or leastways he can find out. His dog's got a sense of smell tae put the hounds o' the seven hells t'shame," he stared down at Icleias, who had followed the Protean all the way to his shop, pointedly. "An' since his dog likes ye, an' yer doin' him a favor an' all, he might be inclined tae help."

After a bit more back and forth with the guard, Theusido let Sienna be on her way. She nodded and left with the wheelbarrow of stone in tow. She had left the stonemason in a more sad outlook than she had arrived to him. She didn't even pay attention to the weight of the wheelbarrow as her mind was all over the place. She soon returned to Amas's house, the old man was still carving away at his future bow when she got back.

"Oh, yer back." He commented flatly. "Looks like ye got a good deal. I knew Theusido'd like the furs." He nodded toward a space in front of his house. "Ye can just leave 'em there for now."

Sienna quietly brought the stone over and sighed. She left it where Amas wanted and took a deep breath before walking back over to him. "Uh... Mr. Amas... I wanted to ask a favor... I was wondering if you could let me borrow your pup for a minute... I need something... Someone... Tracked." She asked as she bowed her head to him. If what Theusido said was true, Icleias might be her way of finding Licorice.

  12. "Aw righ' then. I've been a mite busy lately, whit wiv aw the repairs needin' tae be done, but I can spare some time. Specially if'n Amas sent ya, an' I'm sure as sure he did, from the looks o' these furs," he gestured toward them. "I know's old Pheodea's been askin' after em fer a high price, so's he must really need the stone if'n he's comin' to me first." He chuckled, eyes glinting, "Specially knowin' I'll be the one to give her these 'stead. I'll finally get her to look me way!"

Sienna felt nervous at first, not knowing how the man would react to her, seeing as how all the villagers behaved, but in the end, she gave a slight giggle at the sound of a man trying to impress a lady.

"Pretend y'didn't hear that, lass," he waved a hand. "In exchange, I'll give you some extra stone."

Sienna stood and watched as the man loaded up the stone from his wheelbarrow to hers. She gave a slight smile at the thought of finishing her task for Amas, but quickly lost the smile after what Theusido said next.

"Tae think I'd see not just one, but two fox people in one day," he shook his head after a second. "Though I was a fox meself not too long ago. The world's full o' strange things."

    Two foxes? Did he mean...

"W-wait! You saw another fox like me? Did she have black hair and a tail? Did you see where she went? If you know anything I'd really appreciate it if you told me... Please .." Whether or not Sienna got her answer, she would still have to bring Amas his stone. She was worried about the well being of her friend, but she still had a task to finish.

  13. Alpha Hunter

"Just because we're hunting humanity threatening beasts doesn't mean we can't have fun doing it."

    Name: Erick "Ricky" Rhegor

    Codename: Hunter

    Age: 21

    Gender: Male

    Appearance

    Height: 7'6"

    Weight: 168 lbs.

    Hair Color: Brown

Eye Color: Dark Green (Red when Gift is active)

Due to mutations caused by the ingestion of demon blood, Erick's limbs have lengthened a foot more than they originally were, giving him a very lean and lanky appearance. He also sports sharp protrusions on his shoulders, three on each shoulder and has two small horns that curve from his forehead. When out in the public eye, Erick makes sure to cover his whole body. Usually wearing a large coat or hoodie with baggy sleeves, cargo pants and leather boots, gloves to cover up his claws, and a hat to hide his horns. While at base and around his fellow demon hunters, he wears a more casual look. Getting rid of the large coat in favour of a tank top, fingerless gloves, and losing the hat. He still wears his cargo pants around base, which he keeps a variety of items in the pockets for any occasion.

    Personality

Erick can be described as a very calm and collected individual, never speaking in a loud tone. He isn't one for pessimism and always tries to keep a positive outlook on life, even now when his life has been completely changed. He even enjoys the occasional chat with his fellow demon hunters, cheering them up when they're down, or just talking to talk. At times, he can be found just reading a book outside or just enjoying the day as a whole. But during a hunt, he goes completely and eeriely quiet, his focus completely fixed on his target, his prey. He doesn't tend to come out of this state unless someone is in deep trouble, or if his target has been killed.

    Biography

Erick was originally a simple hunter living out in the woods with his buddy, Taylor. They would hunt together and bring back food and furs that they would either keep or sell for money. One day while at the cabin, Erick was watching everything while Taylor went out to hunt. However, Taylor never came back, and after a full day had passed, Erick decided to go look for him. Along the trail, he found many animal carcasses, none were eaten and we're just mauled to death. He soon came upon Taylor's body, which had been torn in half, with an enormous bear-like creature standing over it.

Erick was horrified at the sight, but before he could think of what to do, the creature charged at him and knocked him to the ground. He tumbled and fell onto his back, the creature looming above him, preparing to pounce. Erick quickly pulled out his machete and he stabbed at the creature as it fell on him. Blood splattered everywhere, some even getting in Erick's mouth, but he didn't care. His adrenaline kicked in and it was either him or the beast that took his friend. The struggle seemed to last forever, until the beast finally fell limp to the ground. Blood surrounded the area and Erick was left alone to his thoughts.

A week had passed since the incident, a fresh grave with a large stone marking it was all he could do for Taylor. A couple of men had arrived at his cabin and had introduced themselves as fellow hunters, not of animals, but of demons. They explained that the creature that Erick had killed had been infected with demonic blood, which it had infected him with. And he was given a choice, either die alone due to his reliance on demon blood, or join them in hunting other demons to protect mankind. Erick's choice was obvious. Before he left, he took one last look at his small hunting cabin and stabbed his machete beside Taylor's grave. Where he was going, what he was going to hunt, he was going to need better tools.

    Blood of the Hunt

When Erick  gets a taste of a Target's blood, his hunting instincts kick into overdrive. Through smell, sight, and/or hearing, he becomes an extremely effective tracker. The effectiveness of this tracking depends on the amount of the target's blood he has consumed and can wear off within minutes unless he consumes more blood. He can use this to get an edge in combat, allowing him to deal with hidden enemies.
