Once the clock struck midnight, the moon instantly turned a blood red. Scientists' minds were boggled, but nobody panicked. They thought of the event nothing more than a sick way to cap off the last year of the century, and went about their partying. Little did the masses know, that something dark and terrible infested the world that night. At the turn of the millennia, monsters of the night infested our world. Where they came from, no one knows, but they spread among the populace like a plague. That same night, a once thought extinct group sensed the presence of evil. These were the remnants of the Demon Slayer Corps. Ages ago, they had rid the world of the demon menace, but they were once again flung into the dark underworld of monster slaying. The year is now 2004. You are one of these members of the Demon Slayers, whether by choice or by circumstance. Your job? Protect the innocent and ignorant, and rid the world of this rising evil!
