Trap Card
Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; until the End Phase this turn, the targeted monster cannot attack and its effects are negated. During either players turn: you can banish this card from your GY; target 1 face-up card your opponent controls, negate the targeted cards effects until the End Phase that turn. If your LP are lower than your opponents, you can activate this card from your hand. You can only activate 1 "Ability Bind" per turn.

So Ability Bind is a powerful Trap card that can shut down an opponents monster for attacks and effects while also being able to banish itself to shut down not only monsters but the effects of Spell and Trap cards as well while being balanced with a hard OPT on activation. Ideally this card is effective as a swiss army knife type of card as it can deal with effects as well as attacks from strong monsters.

It's basically a powercrept "Breakthrough Skill". Of course the card is good but is also uncool for pretty much outclassing every monster-effect negation card around.

The main thing is I don't think it needs an "activate from hand" effect and a Graveyard effect, the reason being that I get the appeal of adding these effects to try and make Trap cards more playable in today's game, but the point of an "activate from hand effect" is to avoid it getting popped when set (also to speed it up a bit of course) and the point of a Graveyard effect is to give a little extra something in case it does get popped. So having both on the same card is just like having two different types of icing on the same cupcake (people don't do that right?). Especially because on top of all that, it's on-field ability is already good. So, it's like a lemon filled cupcake with chocolate icing and strawberry icing. What I'm trying to say is, it seems a bit superfluous, in my opinion.

      The result of some drawing practice I felt like making into a full card. A pretty straightforward effect that's probably significantly more powerful than I imagine it to be. But hey, those dusty Performance of the Swords and Crab Turtles in your box of old cards deserve some love.

Card effects cannot be activated for the rest of this turn, except for the effects of a monster Special Summoned by this card. You can only activate 1 "Power Creep" per turn.
       
      Spent a while trying to come up with an effect for the image. If you have any more fitting ideas, let me know.
