Synchronization

Synchronization
Spell Card
Synchro Summon 1 Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or field as Synchro Materials, in addition, you can also use 1 Tuner monster from your Deck as Synchro Material. You can only activate "Synchronization" once per turn.

So Synchronization acts as a Polymerization for Synchro monsters where it can utilize a Tuner from the deck from your deck to help with making the Synchro summon. Ideally this can help decks that deal with a ratio of monsters where they have not that many tuners in their deck where this card helps support Synchro Summoning on that front. In addition to this it can help with things like Red Dragon Archfiend for Example where you have it on the field a tuner in hand where with this it allows you to go and use those monsters along with another tuner from your deck to make a Red Nova Dragon or a King Calamity.

Interesting concept, given the prevalence of cards like Effect Veiler, Ash Blossom, Ghost Ogre etc. that are Tuners, and given the fact this card can Summon any Synchro using any Tuner, I could see this card being tossed into various decks.. In a way, it's almost like a ROTA but for Tuners. Obviously, it doesn't take the Tuner from your deck and add it to your hand, but it does take any Tuner from your deck and use it for exactly what you need Tuners for in the first place - Synchro Summoning.

If a card like this were released, I’d be curious to see what would happen in competitive play, as I’m confident that there would be decks that would play this card and find success with it. There are two points of concern I could see people having about this card:

Every Synchro thats ever been made has been balanced around two things: 1) the materials you use are on the field, and 2) the materials you use - more or less - have specific levels. Now the first point here is obvious but what I mean by the second point is, if you are Syncrho Summoning by the standard method - using monsters on your field - you have to make do with what you got in front of you. If you have only 1 Tuner in front of you, and its Level 3, and you only control maybe a Level 4 monster and a Level 6 monster, then that means you only have access to Level 7 and Level 9 Synchro monsters – and that’s it.

But with this card: Let's say, you have a Level 4 monster in your hand, and then this Spell in your hand and no other cards. Now let's say you have three Tuners in your deck with different levels - for simplicity sake, let's say each Tuner is levels 2,3, and 4. What this means is, off these two cards alone, you have access to any Level 6,7, or 8 Synchro monster. Now let's factor in the more likely scenario that you have this Spell, a Level 4 monster, and other monsters with other Levels in your hand... you can see where this is going. This Spell basically means the Tuners in your hand no longer dictate what you can and can't Synchro Summon, the Tuners in your deck do. Which means it technically makes every Synchro even more generic than they already are. And, you can now get them out on the field without even using so much as your Normal Summon.

Now, I'm not saying the card is broke or anything, and I do like how it does make certain Synchros more accessible.. but at the same time it is versatile enough to where it can essentially turn itself into any synchro... so that's something to keep in mind.

If this card is sent from the hand or field to the GY: You can Ritual Summon 1 Non-Effect Ritual Monster from your Deck. This effect of "Angelfood" can only be used once per turn.

The result of some drawing practice I felt like making into a full card. A pretty straightforward effect that's probably significantly more powerful than I imagine it to be. But hey, those dusty Performance of the Swords and Crab Turtles in your box of old cards deserve some love.

Tribute 1 face-up monster on either side of the field: Its controller can Special Summon 1 monster from their hand or Deck with the same Type and Attribute and an ATK or DEF greater than the tributed card. Card effects cannot be activated for the rest of this turn, except for the effects of a monster Special Summoned by this card. You can only activate 1 "Power Creep" per turn.

Spent a while trying to come up with an effect for the image. If you have any more fitting ideas, let me know.
