Not quite the stellar card. Has standard Union equip and protection effects, Level 2 kind of can work with Doki Doki in a deck full of Level 2 Rocks an Block Dragon to search for 4 cards with the latter's effect, but it just provides a situational ATK/DEF boost. It can be improved. Take a look at the ABC Unions as reference, which in addition to the typical Union effects, they come with a "If sent to the GY" a.k.a. floating effect. You could try something like that.

Spark Dragon's effect works as well. As for how to write the shared hard OPT, I struggle with it, too. I guess your best bet is adding it in the Equip Spell, something like "You can only use 1 of the monster effect(s) gained by this card's effect per turn, and only once that turn."
