Though Susanoo had been struck by the man's axe, his arm getting in the way and keeping it from breaking in his ribs, he had powered through it like he had all the pain before hand. Shoving the leader back, Susanoo brought his axe up going for the final attack. The leader recovered quicker, though, and seemed poised to attack again, only to be interrupted by the swift lance of Alexis piercing his one remaining good arm. Letting go of his axe as his axe reflexively opened, he was powerless to stop Susanoo as the pirate hunter buried his axe into the bandit's chest. The man was motionless, barely making noise as it seemed he was unable to breathe any longer. Then, taking his axe out of the man's body Susanoo gave one emphatic kick to the bandit and sent him hurtling off the boat into the water below. With that fight having ended, Leon, Edda and Rona rushed onto the ship. Looking to everyone else, Leon said, "we're in danger. We have to get going. Now." At his behest, the group began to scramble about, trying to get the ship ready and able to move. Sun Lancer continued to walk towards the boat, still seeming on track to go fight attack the Falcons. The bandit that had been fighting Edda, frustrated that she ran away looked ready to charge before he looked back. Seeing the knight, he went to go intercept him instead, saying, "this a matter between us and them, so why don't you just - " the man was cut off as he was effortlessly shoved back onto the ground. Stunned, for a moment, he shook his head before shouting to the two near the boat saying, "hey guys! Don't just stand there! Either show those brats and that drunk or this asshole what it means to mess with us." This bandit had clearly been out of the loop for this entire fight. The two, seeing their boss be killed by the red rooster bull and be heavily out numbered opted to go fight the knight - only now realizing he was there. Charging at them, Sun Lancer stopped for a moment, readying his bladed lance. As one got close, he thrust his spear forward, piercing the chest of the first bandit before he even got close enough to swing. Before the other could react, Sun Lancer wrenched the bladed lance free, spinning it and bringing the bladed ended down across the face and chest of the second. Within in an instant he had, quite like the Iron Falcons had, shown them what it meant to mess with the bandits. And yet it was effortless, the bandits seemed to provide a momentary distraction that was enough to aid the Falcons. The plank that connected the boat and the mainland had been knocked aside, and the boat itself already seemed to be drifting away with sails unfurled. As it had turned out, the bandits were looking to make a getaway themselves and so most of the preparations had already been taken care of. As such, Sun Lancer couldn't do anything but watch wordlessly as the bandits around scrambled away in terror and his prey had managed to escape. Now on the seas, Leon let out a sigh of relief. They had done it. They had managed to escape Aeora. They were now safe from their pursuers and didn't have to worry about being chased down - at least for the time being. Looking towards the Horizon, Leon wasn't quite sure what was in store for them next. They were a mercenary company. But they no longer had a home base, and where they were going they were unheard of. For that matter, they didn't know anything about where they were going. And beyond that, he felt as though his life were about to get a whole lot more hectic once they landed in Yon'Lou. Yet still, he looked back to his crew. Smiling, he said, "everyone. Good work on a job well done. It was dangerous and I don't think we can ever go back as things are. And so I thank you, for sticking with me in my irresponsible decision to take this job. It would've been easier for most of you to run or abandon the job and go your own way. But thanks to your help, we did it. We succeeded in our last job in Aeora." Looking back, Leon smiled still saying, "now let's see what jobs the future has in store for us, Iron Falcons." FIN

"And this is what people have come to? Disgraceful. I'd tear down these wild thugs and make 'em thankful for it, but Heroic Spirits have rules against that. We'd best find someone that can point us in the right direction. Preferably sober... sober and sane," "Look, man, not everyone can be as cool as you," I commented with a shrug. "As for finding someone... well, it's not like I can just ask someone 'Hey, where can I find the Thunderheads?'. That's just a bad idea," I sigh as I look around. "Hey, Hifumi said they hate Mages, so maybe if we do some magic, we'll get their attention," I comment. "Would you be my lovely assistant to my magic show Archer?" I joke. "Anyways, I guess the best way to find them is to cause a small, but non-lethal panic," Nodding to myself I walk down the road, running my hands through my hair as I find a target. I make sure to take in the details of their face, their body shape, and everything committed to memory before I purposefully run into the person's side. "Sorry, I'm sorry," I say as I turn around, making sure my disguise magic made me look like the person I rammed into. "I didn't mean to, I'm in a rush!" After making sure the person got a good look at my face, I kept walking, repeating this process a few times. Hopefully I'll get results.

Team Adarid - Arceus' Chamber Here they were, at the very end of their tumultuous journey. The door before them was huge, but it pushed open without so much as a thought, lighter than air. Upon entering the room, only two were located within the sanctum already. She didn't know who it was, but at the same time, once her eyes laid upon her, she did. It was Arceus, creator of all things. Standing above her protective shield was another Gijinka, one that looked similar to the Houndoom in their party, but one that looked vastly more intimidating. She could feel the insanity dripping off of him, even much more so than the Lucario before. She didn't know it, but she'd taken a defensive stance already, just by standing in his presence. "There she is. The great god of this disgusting world. The being who created us and then abandoned us. Her will is already broken. If not for her body's natural defenses she would have been consumed by the flames long ago." His laughing was ominous. "As you can see there's not much time before all of her incredible power is mine. I already managed to steal a portion of it, I hope you liked my army by the way creation is such a messy affair, so it won't take long now." He gazed at the group with an amused expression. "Perhaps you expect me to tell you of my life, why I did this, what I have to gain from destroying god and rebuilding the world...But I tire of speaking to you lowly lifeforms. This has gone on long enough. Instead I will just show you how futile your efforts have been." "Well aren't you a boring one?" Taiga grinned. A strange fire began to emanate around the gijiinka, as he let it explode out towards them as a ghastly black flame. It snaked and weaved it's way across all of the Gijinka in the room, managing to separate all of them. Taiga tried her best to try and group up with someone, anyone, but to no avail. It was hot in between these thick walls of dark fire, but she couldn't do much about it. To make matters worse, flames were spat onto the ground that morphed into living amalgamations of flame. Taiga chewed her lip. They then heard his voice echoing through the room. "I am the one who managed to make the creator god kneel before me! Destroying the likes of you will be child's play!" "You're gonna regret sayin' somethin' so stupid when you're choking on your teeth, you bastard!" Taiga dashed forward, sliding on a wave of water, mimicking the movements she had seen Keanu do before. As she approached those flame monsters, they attempted to grab and punch at her, but she was way too fast. These things surely had no brains, which gave Taiga a slight advantage. As she passed by each, Taiga whirled her foot around, catching a torrent of water on her foot to slice through the monsters in half, fast as lightning. She now approached the Houndoom, her grin wide. "You're next!"

To be blatantly honest, the reply she received from Peter was the last one she had expected in a million years. Confident? Even as she wiped the confusion from her face, she was more than surprised to learn that her facade had been taken at any level of face-value. “Ah, don’t worry about that!” She replied, cackling. “It’s simply the role of the antagonist to always have the upper-hand; to be gloriously overconfident!” She explained, throwing her arms out to the side in laughter. “That pit in your stomach is an important lesson to hold on to, and to never lose sight of! A grounding tool, to make sure you never lose sight of your limits!” She explained, hoping her advice was at least a tiny-bit helpful... Before nodding, as Hana pointed at her. "And yeah! Go-Go Ma-ko-to! Go-Go... Noodle...?" Terry paused, not sure what 'noodle' was referring too, as she waited for the duel to start. And start the duel did; and with that, came watching the duel, and with watching, came commentary; mostly from David as Terry turned to face him, the glasses-bound student explaining his thoughts on the match-up with each movement. “Ooh. Good analysis, but I do disagree a tiny bit.” Terry chimed in, bringing a hand to her chin as her villainous persona seemed to melt away, into a more eager observer. “While Madolche has a lot more reliability in their recycling, I’m not sure that’s enough to be giving it as much leeway in this match-up as you seem to think. After all, Ancient Gear is a deck that seems to focus on limiting opponent reactions as much as possible, while also focusing heavily piercing and effect damage. Even if Madolche can stall out a traditional deck, Ancient Gear is going to be an entirely different beast for them to handle, meaning this can go either way, y’know?” She explained, practically wiggling in her seat. “Which, is why we HAVE to continue cheer for Makoto, because she’s got this! You hear me Makoto?! You’ve GOT this!” She called out, raising her voice; the persona switching back into place like a light-switch, as she began cheering once again. “As the first line of defense in our Armada of Agony, you’ve GOT this! Show them the Horizon of our power!”

I'll elaborate more on the setting if enough people are interested in this.
