  1. I think this one was only brought up at the Discord chat but: The header image is a little awkward. It's long but thin, and crops out a lot. I know it can be clicked to reveal an almost full art but it'd be ideal if the pre-clicking mode had dimensions a little more similar to the old YCM one. Also, post-clicking for full art doesn't seem to necessarily unfold the full art. When you customize the point that is visible before clicking, that becomes your new top point, and clicking only reveals the rest downwards, meaning whatever the customization left above the first view is not gonna be visible either way.
  2. I second this. Spoilers are doable but a lot harder to work with. I spent a good 20 minutes dragging images around to fit into individual spoilers and fighting with the one-liners on top because the spoilers themselves have no distinction from one another. Spoilers inside spoilers was a bit too much of a hassle for me xD Also, to delete a spoiler without deleting everything inside of it, one has to manually drag everything out of it first. ^-^"
  3. That'd require some pretty dedicated deck-building where you play pretty much like Infernities, or with cards that simply the gamestate for both players such as cards that immediately cause impact and get to the GY ASAP to help you keep the control, and hopefully reduce the opponent's cards as well. Sounds tricky and more doable if it was the GX era xD
  4. Keep in mind that having 3 cards in your hand and field combined (not excluding this card) is a bit of a big feat nowadays unless you are in a pretty bad shape, and the last mode is gonna be live as often as Bubbleman's drawing effect. It's pretty much an anime comeback card xD
  5. Edited. Perhaps it is necessary considering the way the game is nowadays. Now the dragon can die and still steal. Considering the target must remain on the field for it to steal and that the dragon also must still battle a monster, I guess that's fair enough xD
  6. Yes they do. It's got the destruction protection at 1200/800 Level 3 It's got destruction and target protection at 2400/2000 Level 6 It's got destruction protection and full effect immunity at 4000/3600 Level 10
  7. A bit of a retrain of an old card of mine, mostly to help it catch up to today's standard a bit better. Sitting Long Neck EARTH Level 3 [Dinosaur/Effect] 1200/800 If this card would be destroyed by battle or effect, you can change it to Defense Position instead. While there are 3 or less total cards in your hand and field, it gains 1200 ATK and DEF, 3 Levels, and cannot be targeted by your opponent's effects. While it is the only card in your hand and field, it gains 1600 ATK and DEF, 4 Levels, and is unaffected by your opponent's effects.
  8. Thief Dragon EARTH Level 3 [Dragon/Effect] 1200/700 This card cannot be destroyed by battle with monsters with 1800 or more ATK. If it battles a monster, after damage calculation: You can target 1 Spell/Trap your opponent controls; add the target to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Thief Dragon" once per turn. - - - - It's like a combination of Baby Dragon and Graverobber. Except it steals from the opponent's field rather than their GY. If either this monster or the S/T are removed from the equation, the effect dies off, but considering it's a damage calculation effect, that's probably not a big concern. Can steal scales and whatnot and has a little bit of a safety net against battle.
  9. A while back I made a custom archetype named "Abystella" (stars of the abyss) consisting on marine life with patterns of glowing yellow stars. Here's the art I drew for it: Whale Narwal Jellyfish Squid Mantaray Sea Dragon/Sea Horse Isopod Marlin Fisher Nautilus Sea Serpent Mermaid Art for Spells or Traps
  10. It's a pretty straight-forward card. It wants to punch things and it doesn't like getting stopped. Solid, but simple. It's stats won't probably go past 4000 all that often, and running Neos on itself is a balancing factor even if this caused trouble. All in all, it is an appropriate evolution, and probably would have an edge over Neos Knight more often than not as a Utopia the Lightning sort of deal but for HEROes.]
  11. 2017: 2018: The first one features my OCs Sonnet (the witch), Autumn (orange hair girl), and Zoophie (giraffe) wearing Halloween costumes. The second one are characters from the "Over the Garden Wall" comics. Anna and Jordan with Cinder (the dog) coming back from an event at the woods (also related to the comic). Materials are copics.
  12. Yes but, like... I'd expect it to self-revive during the End Phase from the banished area, and THEN we are talking xD
  13. No, I mean not having to return the revealed card into the deck after resolving the effect if something else discarded it first.
  14. I know you can see who's online at the bottom of the main page and you can see the online staff at a box on the side, but is there a way to look at the total member list of the site like YCM could?
  15. I also think the game can handle it, that's why I put up the sample of a card that exists that does it. The hand reveal won't be a big deal if the card is used in heavy backrow decks like chain burn and whatnot, but usually it would be a relevant thing. Your opponent won't always know all your cards all the time, that's part of why hand traps work. People can just assume those can be in hand. I didn't mean the discard bit to take advantage of any Spell GY effects, I meant it as in.... Scenario: Let's say you reveal huh.. Living Fossil. You then chain something like Raigeki Break and discard Living Fossil as cost. Now Divine Validation adds whatever Spell you want as it resolves, and you have no Living Fossils left in hand to shuffle, dodging the drawback by using the loss elsewhere. Extra Points if it's a GY effect though, like Galaxy Cyclone or Metalfoes Fusion, but that'd just be a bonus xD
  16. Featuring my own characters, I made this as a page header for my Facebook, Twitter, and YCM at the start of December:
  17. Well we kind of half "Left Arm Offering" for any kind of Spell, and it forces at least a -2 for it (banish entire hand, at least 2) but for an immediate use. I like how this card at least forces a turn of wait and is only for Normal Spells, and I think the "return a Spell in favor of another" kind of deal. I'm not a fan of the hand-revealing part though. Just have it return 1 card with the same name. And have it be revealed/shuffled before the actual search so you can't dodge the cost of this card by chaining something that would cost-discard the target. On a random note, Final Countdown comes to mind xD
  18. This card seems like something that would have been made for a game in which stuff like Peropero Cerperus was good. It has ok arrows for a Link 4 but so does Agabe Dragon. The effect demands some laddering to float back into, and that's more or less what it does... Popping it yourself with cards like Sky Iris is not something you wanna do to a Link 4. The GY destruction is ok I guess though. Hard to dodge destroying any Link 3 or lower for the rest of the game.... and just pray your opponent doesn't Call by the Grave this if needed xD
  19. That actually sounds quite powerful. So long as you have a Link opening up spaces too, this card enables Ultimaya and Crystal Wing plays. I'm not sure how to feel about the fact she's not a hard OPT on the Summon effect. It sounds like it'd be very easy to swarm there. It enables Harpie Dancer to be tergeted twice so your Sisters play can actually go for Rank 6 too if you wished for it. Or if you had multiples of this in hand you can actually go for any Rank above 3 with this deck....
  20. It's just a big dumb +ATK card in the least convenient mechanic (Trap) nowadays. It immediately makes me think of the Link 3 Crusadia, which would probably be the go-to card if this was the attempt. Ways to improve: - Until the end of the turn - Target 1 face-up monster on the field The direct attack clause would be pretty situational to take advantage of unlike with stuff like Staunch Defender rulings or Massivemorph's not caring for a board, but at least it'd be something.
  21. Ice Barriers running exactly those make them the best idea for this card to shine in, although Magician of Prophecy and Chocolate Magician Girl come to mind, so long as there's a small enough Aqua to bring out. Part of me wants to use it in Frogs. Dupe Frog would love it, but then the question would be on the Spellcaster. Oh, I know! Ib's World Chalice Link form as best generic way to do it. It fails to provide enough help to Penguins and Graydles but nonetheless a pretty amusing card, and despite how generic it kind of is, it doesn't seem like a potential problem.
