General topic for posting thoughts on light novels you've read/are interested in. Seeing as this is so general, spoiler tags for things that are spoilers, please. NEW YEARS/SITE RESOLUTION: Stick to being the only one to post in here mainly, but stick to it. Because I am truly surprised how much I have stuck with the reading of something that isn't a comic or mainly, a manga. I'm probably not reading anything today, but I'll definitely have some thoughts next LN part I read (Smartphone or Grimgar).

Now this is just my opinion, but after watching the first season and eating up the mobile game, and seeing as the timeline seems to essentially be this: There is a LOT of freaking time and context with all of the characters and their relationships with one another, that it very much seems like you would be missing out on far too much to just jump into the second season. Certain character happenings that I will spoiler in my thoughts of the first episode are a very huge leap and would benefit you greatly with the added context. So if you enjoyed the first season at all, and you can play the game in a language you know, I implore you to try it, because it really is so much better than the first season, and the second season... because of the extra characters, there is potential, but... Episode 1 thoughts: The animation is bad. Like, in Pastel*Palettes performance, really extremely hecking bad. It isn't ruining it for me because I truly care about the characters that much, and to see what they're becoming, I'm really happy for them. Happy lucky smiley, even. All that, and I recognized O-tae practicing Poppin' Shuffle, that was great enough on it's own. Kasumi asks what she's playing, seems it hasn't been made yet! ? The official subs don't go with the same translations of quirky catchphrases that the official English game uses. Kaoru's Feeting, Hina's Boppin', nowhere to be found.

I'm gonna really have to lessen my shit compared to last season, and thankfully, there are very few must watches: BanG Dream! 2nd Season - The addition of the other bands should really bring a ton of fun to the table after the introduction episode Endro~! - More Namori design goodness, and it seems to be really nice and fluffy this time, aaahhh~! Mini Toji - Short of the season based off a surprisingly decent mobile game adaptation WATATEN!: an Angel Flew Down to Me - It may seem weird, but as a manga reader I assure you, there is no sexualization of the children. The older character is not so forcibly disgusting like Uzamaid, the comedy is actually nice.

So... yeah, idk how the other topic is formatted since I got really behind on everything I still wanted to watch for reasons (so I won't be looking at it just yet), but here we go. Director: Satou, Akira Series composition: Takahiro Original character design: Namori So I'm honestly hoping that some of these Yuru Yuri affectionados have finally given this a shot now that it is over at least. I was a little sad no one said anything in my misc thread in the old country since I'd say they TRANSPLANTED AKARI & CHINATSU INTO AN ACTION SPY SHOW and everything. The supplementary manga actually really help a lot, specifically the one page 4-komas After Release the Spyce. The humor really grew on me and really helps show that there may be some serious shit, but even though Namori is only the original chara designer, their style really permeates through the whole thing.

The point was the longer history that some of us had that we aren't really gonna go through the effort of trying to replicate right off the bat. Also idk if I'd have even been able to notice it on my own, hehe. But the simple default dark theme, the ability to like/edit statuses/comments, the (apparent) ability to post mild nudity because it isn't actually 18+ to do so! I'm never doing that.

So it still is. That extra little reminder in certain cases seems like it'd be more useful than it probably is, I guess.

Pretty much entirely seconding this. If anything else, the Topic Starter one could be neat? But everything else doesn't seem useful enough to bother when they're more suited to profile than anything else.

It has been brought to my attention that it isn't just me, but I can't really see anyone else's About Me, if they have one. 1 person said things about this through Discord, and another post on my introduction can't seem to see my About Me (unless they really just didn't notice the tab that they already brought up in another thread). I wonder what is up with that?

Seeing as I can reply here and it has to do with potential rules that are not added yet, this may sound silly but... am I allowed to advertise this site? Only really to reply to one or two tweets about YCM being down to to say this place is where the community seems to be moving, or if you were only interested in the card maker, there is one here. Unless someone gets to it before I see any sort of answer, that is.
