    Erica walks in and she ignores the giant creature dangling above her as she was not focused on it. She was more focused on the teacher and what the class was. She recognized the teacher from the orientation as the History teacher due to the fact she only recalls one cowboy teacher, which she connected with History. Erica looked at her speaking of history and she was somewhat trying to recall her own studies. It was mostly general story of the Kuma Ring, specially of Asari, and some story related to her parents and the Rovenshire exploration she was born on. She was so enraptured that when the teacher asked for opening the sarcophagus, she shook the thoughts up and stood up out of reflex. "My name is Erica Sapphire, but you can call me Rika Sahira, as that is my soon-to-be legal name." Awkward silence. She looks at the sarcophagus. "You only wanted someone to open the sarcophagus. Understood." She doesn't sit down and instead she walks to the sarcophagus.

    Erica looked at the man entering and... well, to be honest, she didn't consider herself much of a clean girl, given she was a Robattler and she tended to get deep in lubricants and grease after a battle, even though she does bathe after each round. The man spoke like if dog's drool was bad. 'But the saliva of dogs is full of cleaning bacteria that make them able to eat things we would never eat... right?' she thought to herself as the man passed by. She sighed as the janitor did his job and then turned in her exam and... yeah, she was not surprised at all. She may be an inventor, but she's no genius, even on her field. She was certain her social knowledge was laughable, though she expected to get a failing grade instead of a barely passing one. Her knowledge of practical science seemed to be more than enough. However, her social studies were horrible. She left the classroom and thought about her grades before heading to the next class.

    Erica sat down, after the violent attempt to stop the dog. Considering the size and strength of the dog, which she was able to test when it went to her, it's likely Drei is fine and only a bit dizzy. After that show, she sat down to get her test going... and she realized that she was WAY behind in a lot of stuff. For example, she didn't know anything about society beyond the Kuma Ring. She also was a failure in history and present events were laughable. She was not scoring well on math or arts, those were weak areas for her... And then came the more practical ones. Chemistry, anatomy and physics were fine, she needs to know about them if she builds Robattle frames, let alone mechs. And she did surprisingly well in the tests about military stuff. She somehow felt it like second nature all the stuff about teamwork, management of resources during a battle... and then she realized that this was because of her times in Robattles, specially the Team Conquest competitions, which was about dominating the most terrain through the use of Torch Markers. She felt it was a niche terrain, but she was surprised of how much of what she learned to do there by practice applied to actual warfare. "Huh... I guess I must forgive Takuta-sensei for what I told him about Team Conquest once I return home..."

    Erica looked at Bianca and... yeah, she was now considering the girl to be a serious pain, specially after her smile when she mentioned the whole "best grades" thing. She also shared the comment made to her, even if she didn't know exactly what it meant. She was so focused on Bianca that only realized about the dog having gotten out when it actually leapt into Bianca and then into Stella. When it came to lick her, she instinctively... readied herself to embrace it and bury her face into its fur, while keeping her usual Poker Face. Because she liked its fur. She allows it to lick her for a while and after that, she simply allowed it to leap from her, as she actually forgot she was supposed to catch it. She realized a few seconds later about that, her eyes slightly widening at the realization. 'WHY DID I LET IT GO?!'

    It was 5 a.m. Erica woke up and, wearing her pajamas and her hair still combed down, she got to her corner table and drank her tea. She took her time alone in the city to visit the place and relax. She hopefully didn't have any other issues in the elevator. She was still in the table, in her pajamas, with her hair down and drinking her tea, when the alarm was heard. She was already certain what the alarm was for, so she went to her large closet, took off her pajamas and dressed in her regular clothes. She didn't pay any attention to her roommate as she did so, including shaking her hair to her regular hairdo. She also took her fans and got them in her pockets, just in case. With that done and the strange watch to call her mech in her ankle, as she already had a mechanic wristband for her wrist, she went to the classroom. -------- Erica arrived to the classroom and took on of the seats in the front row for sakes of commodity. She saw the screen and simply tried to ignore it. She knew the class in advance thanks to her checking the schedule in the way to the classroom, so she knew who the teacher was. She waited once the bell rang and then a bit more until the professor entered. Once he began to speak about the class and actually explained what the class was about, she could see the class was more about common knowledge and, apparently, common sense. She was fine with those, and hopped that would involve figures of speech in Standard language, which are her biggest failures currently. "Now then, you know my name, but how about all of yours? I'd like if we started this getting to know each other a bit better." Erica blinks a bit at this, kind of confused. "So why don't you each tell me your name and, let's see, three things you love. I'll start. I'm Dalton John and I love my dog, my job, and chocolate." Erica was more confused about what can something like that tell her about the rest or what her likings may reveal about her, but she was not gonna complain. He then called the attention to one of her roommates who was apparently sleepy. "I like boxing, arcade games...and uh...my best friend." Erica simply heard, but it really didn't stick to her much, other than she didn't say her name. It made sense and she was looking pretty tired. Still she liked arcade games and boxing, so that was probably something she knew about her. 'Maybe her mech has boxing gloves... or maybe not, who knows.' "Well that's lovely, see, not so hard. So who's next?" Erica stood up without hesitation and cleared her throat. "My name is Erica Sapphire, but I'm in the road to be legally renamed as "Rika Sahira" per the naming customs of my homeland, the asteroid Reign of Asari, so I go by either Erica or Rika. I like everything related to tea, beating people with my mech and stuff that may be considered 'cute'. That's all." She then bowed to the professor and others before sitting down. Her eyes gave a glimpse of opening wide when she realized the last thing she mentioned. 'WHY IN ALL RINGS OF PARADISE DID I SAY THAT?!'

    Touch and Frimon were heading back to the station... and the only thing good old game-head brought in was a backpack full of cosplay props he accumulated over the years, some of which were visible popping out the backpack, some batteries for his game console and lots of power bars. Talk about odd preparations... "Why do you have an outfit with three belts and a giant wooden knife, again?" "Being packed for adventure is the best thing I can do until-" He stopped once he realized the whistle was not coming from the station. "Okay... wasn't expecting random encounter events in the middle of the starting town..." He did his best to get the source of the whistle. "Mmm..." He then heard a faint voice. "I can hear some troubles and a voice, but I can't tell-" "Someone is asking for help!" Touch looked at Frimon a bit surprised. "What? I can hear it low but clear from over there." He points to a direction with his tail. "So I guess your frills help you hear better after all. Anyway, let's do this." Touch picks his partner and heads towards the noise, ready for the next stage.

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) As Merlin vacated the table, Erica remained there for a bit longer in order to finish her tea. She did not like the response about the presence being, for the sounds of it, a kami, or rather an akuma due to the circumstances. She sighed heavily and retook her tea sipping until she was done. She didn't like to rush her tea. After that, she stood up, bowed to the people and left the place. She decided to go sightseeing, looking if there was a garden or something where she could go and check. The fact she was in the middle of a living city so far from home was a bit overwhelming but she was not gonna hole herself in the academy, specially not with that in there, probably waiting to catch her by surprise.

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) Erica was decidedly not in with the "uniqueness" she found herself tangled with back in the elevator and she really expected to get any form of clearing about the situation so she could move forward, but it seemed that was not going to happen. She made a mental note that Merlin was "not entirely trustworthy", which may make her attempts to gain information from him to be a bit more on the hard side. She did pay attention to what she deemed pertinent. "Half devoured spirit" was the part that stuck with her the most. If only because there was a popular legend of such in her home town, actually. "So, your 'Sandman' may be a hanshin, from the sounds of it." She took a sip of her tea. "Or, at the very least, he acts like one."

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) Erica saw him advancing on her. She was expecting it a bit, but she was not really wanting it. Actually, she was totally not wanting it. "Now now, we can save all that serious stuff for later can't we? No need to rush things after all." She felt a bit of discomfort from his touch and her instincts told her to swat him with his fan and leave, but she was not willing to get in troubles now after that thing happened. "How about we get to know each other before diving into all that business? After all we only just met. Don't you want to take things slow." She was mentally counting before she would present his face with her tessen... well, they are made of metal junk, after all, she can call it like that as well. Before she would do something, though, the waitress returned with the drinks. "If you need anything else let me know. Especially if this boy gives you any trouble okay?" Erica simply nodded knowingly before the waitress left. As she pulled her hand from his grasp she simply sat down and took a sip of her tea. She was going back to her no-nonsense attitude and she was out for answers. "I shall let you know I am not interested in any romantic relationship now. I am interested on what do you know about the entity that captured me back then."

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) Erica looked the city and was somewhat impressed, but not really surprised of the place. She heard before the place was not an abandoned place, so she expected life to be there. She felt somewhat relaxed of not being in the reach of the youkai right now. She saw the cafe, however, and she had the feeling this may lead to discomfort. The fact the place had boots was... well, not that strange. Cafés back at Asari also had booths instead of just tables. "Another one? Take it you want the usual?" "Ah, none for me, sorry. But if you'd like anything just let me know. I'll pay." "Tea. Green." She stated in a pretty droned way, as a way to try and be as little amicable as possible, not wanting any emotional response to come out. That was a sign that she was finally calming down and getting back into her normalcy. And her normalcy was telling her to be wary of any advances Merlin may had on the booth. She sat down across him. "So, you mentioned to have information, right?" She kept a serious gaze upon him. "What do you know about the Heliosians?"

    Touch looked back and forth at the explanation given and then looked at the teacher and Omnimon stating stuff, including the data on the Digimon and the Digivice. He smirked, pocketing the device. "I'm in, then." He petted Frimon and the small digital being simply hopped in place on Touch's shoulders. "YAY! PARTNER! I WILL BE STRONGER NOW! YAY!" Touch caught the bouncing Frimon in his arms and seemed like ready for the next adventure. "I can't wait to see how can we get better!" "Yes, indeed." Touch held the little mon as they went outside. He was surprised by what was happening outside. "Alright kids... find your houses, and get essentials. We'll meet at the train station in half an hour," "Understood. Mission Start!" Touch runs towards his house... well, actually, he's only a guest in the house, with him being an exchange student and all that.

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) Erica saw him getting in her way and she simply stopped. She was surprised by his approach, which was rather shocking her. The slight ruffling of her locks was a show of it. She looked a bit big eyed at this and she then took a deep breath and considered her options. Apparently, what happened was targeting her, probably because of how tense she was. She couldn't fulfill her mission in this state, so she needed to get the presence fixed. She also decided that... well, she better not go run off like that alone if that youkai was still around, and if he was right about his statement, she had better chance with him than on her own. "I accept" She gives a formal bow at him.

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) "Well, that IS the question isn't it? I don't know that I can really explain it properly." Erica saw as Merlin struggled to explain to her what happened. "I suppose you could say I don't really know." That answer was kind of pathetic for her, but then he continued going. "One might say it's a ghost. But that's not quite right I don't think. It's not like some spirit of the dead come to haunt the elevator. It's more of a....presence. You know the type." Erica nodded slowly, starting to picture what was going on. After all, her planet had a religion where lots of things were explained by creatures of old called Youkai. "A thingy that is there but isn't really? Right probably not. Okay so picture this. There's this thing. It exists somewhere around here. But not in the usual definition of the word." She kept hearing the attempt at explaining and yes, it sounds like a Youkai, alright... then he stopped his explanation and got closer, making Erica feel a bit uncomfortable and even blushing as red as her kimono due to the closeness of the two. She then noticed the students coming on the corner of her eye and leaving, and then Merlin stepped back from her. "Sorry about that. This isn't something that should be heard by too many you know. See, best I can tell, this thing gets energy from tension. And if it gets enough it drags people...wherever that was. It's different each time but it's the same place really. Far as I know no one has ever been hurt by it but can never be too careful." She nodded in acknowledgement. "So it is like a kind of Youkai, right? A strong one..." She looks at the building she just left and the shivers ran down her spine, not feeling really good. "Exciting first day isn't it?" Erica looked at him saying this and simply placed her hands in her sleeves, rubbing them gently on her upper arms to relieve the tension. "Too much exciting for me. Must find relax." She started to walk off the building towards the mecha field, trying to ease the nervousness of her mind and body. This was NOT the first day she wanted to have.

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) Erica was wary of what happened around her, so she kept her fans at the ready, now really wishing to be a victim. She could hear the heart beat and she was sure something was gonna happen at her she got ready to lash behind her with her fan- "Well then, didn't think there was anyone else here. I see you stumbled on something interesting on your first day." She was so focused on the thing behind her that she was surprised by the one named Merlin coming from one of the doors. She blinked confused. "Uh... yes... How did you-?" Erica was left with the question hanging as Merlin got into his deep thought. "Well, guess I should get you out of here, shouldn't I?" Before she could reply, he led the way to a window she was sure she haven't seen before. As soon as he dove right in, she went there. She pretty simply pulled up and went in. Landing in the ground floor was nice, though she still wondered where she fell from. She pocketed her fans and thought out loud. "What just happened?" She wanted hard to not follow with it, but she was really not wanting to suffer from that every time she rode the elevator.

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) Her eyes opened wide as soon as the girl showed her face... or rather her lack of such. In a blink, though, she was gone. As well as the entire place. "<Unless I suddenly wake up from a coma induced by poisoned tea, and in that case I shall punish a certain tea seller back at home, this is not something I should look a logical explanation for.>" She didn't react to the chuckle and instead went to leave the room. She was wrong with her previous assessment, as apparently everything was a trap in there, so doing anything was to humor the specter. "<Well, forget this, let us try and face that specter.>" She kept her fans drawn as she went to leave the room because things were certainly not looking up for doing things the normal way.

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) The situation was kind of weird in part, but Erica was not going to let the weirdness of the situation hit her. "This is affecting her. Maybe it is something supernatural. I'll have to deal with it first." She went to one of the cardboard cutouts and, producing her fans, swatted it away, making it fall on the floor. She eventually went to all the cardboard cutouts and swatted them away with her fans, one by one, or even several at the time. She, of course, was imitating the show she became a fan of much to her chagrin, "Cyber Shinobi Ramen-kun", battling like she was one of the female ninjas in the show. Once she swatted them all away, she got between her and the cut outs. "<You all better stay down if you value your lives.>" She glanced at the girl behind her. "Are you okay?"

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) Erica was... not really amused by the situation. She saw the situation in front and she was now certain something was trying to trick her and she was not happy with it. She was not gonna rule out anything, specially because she shared a room with a priest the entire trip... well, she called in a priest, actually. She checked her way out not being there and she was not going to try and hack her way out. She looked at the two options she had. <The piano may be played by whoever caused me to get into this place, while the sobbing may be a trap.> She considered going to the piano because it was obvious, but... <No. The piano is the trap. I would go there first.> She withdrew her fans and pulled them into the pockets on her sleeves as she headed towards the sobbing noise instead, opening the door with the utmost care. "Hello?"

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) "Oh my god. You really are crazy. What are you going to do with...those things." Erica stopped at the simple mention of her being crazy and looked at Bianca. She was not really happy with what wqas being said about her. At all. "Please don't fight." When Blossom spoke, however, Erica looked at her and simply lowered her fans. As soon as the elevator stopped and Bianca ran away with Blossom on tow, she replied at her with a glare of her own. "<I am totally gonna blast her apart in a mech battle as soon as we get the chance.>" Erica kept her thoughts to herself when she felt the hand coming at her. She didn't turn back, however, as she was still very angry. "<But first, I am gonna get this specter in check. I will either talk with Xa'Tok or with whoever does the maintenance of this place.>" And with that in mind she left the elevator. She had no clear where to go right now, but she really wanted to clear her mind... however, she realized she was in the wrong floor and there was no other way down. She was not gonna get out through the elevator, however, because she didn't trust it. Begrudgingly, she went in and pressed the button to go down.

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) Erica was sure that Bianca was not getting anything of what she said. She sighed heavily. "You complained about a boy wearing a mask, I replied to your concern and you then mentioned I was in a gang and-" Suddenly the elevator began to flicker and do its thing. She pulled out her fan and unfolded it, out of instinct. She then heard a whisper behind her but didn't turn. She had the same bad feeling as she had before Blossom came in. She looked at the elevator lights flicker again and she was ready. "Do not move, Blossom and Bianca, this elevator had already did something like this before and it was not really pleasant." She pulled another fan this time. Both were brass and brown leather with designs that looked somewhat like dolphins. "And I can now be certain I was not alone before Blossom arrived." She focused on her surroundings through her hearing. She was not willing to be taken by surprise by whatever was gonna strike on them.

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) "I...yes, that's my name." Erica looked at Bianca stammer and then look up and down on her. Erica was pretty sure they met before. After all, she wasn't that bed about remembering faces. She then recounted what she remembered of the situation back in the ship. "I assure you I have no idea what you're talking about." Erica blinked before eavesdropping the whispering. She gave a slight glare at them, not really liking the implication. "<Crazy? What is this girl talking about? I am just recalling the last time we met. That was really uncalled for.>" Also, why was she acting like if they haven't met before? As the girls came into the elevator, Erica was just looking them fidget and- "What in the world are you wearing anyway?" Erica looked at herself... and then she realized what happened. She sighed and simply revealed her goggles, placing them over her forehead to make her at least look closer to her regular outfit. "I am one of the girls you said was in a gang back in the library. I recall your name as you said it before leaving the place. It was during the flight through the asteroid rain, before the attack of the pirates." She can recall that part at least. "I am sorry if you couldn't recognize me in my Asarian outfit. It is what I wear when I am not training or battling on my mech." She was still glaring at Bianca as she said so. "Also, it is rude to whisper such things about people without confirmation of truth."

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) "Yes, no...well. I just...got off on the wrong floor is all." Definitively the kind of girl she expected from her demeanor. "Oh, Blossom. My name...Blossom Artem." "Glad to be acquainted with you, Blossom, I-" Just then, the door of the elevator opened and a girl was already waiting. She had vague memories of her... from the library of the Finback, maybe? Yeah, she seemed familiar... Bianca? Yeah, that clicks onto her. "There you are. Didn't I tell you to follow me? You're going to keep getting lost if you wander off like that." She began to assume they were probably roommates or acquittances from before the academy. "And who are you?" Erica noticed the conversation shifted back to her, albeit in a rude tone. She, however, was taught to have an albeit of modals. "My name is Erica Katorian Sapphire. If I recall correctly, you are Bianca. We met in the library of the Finback." Of course, given she was dressed in a very different way and even her hair looked different, it is likely she wouldn't recall her right away. "You... complained something about gangs, though I am certain there were none back then." And, of course, some figures of speech fly way past her radar.

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) Erica simply stayed in the ride until the lights began to flicker. She then heard the groaning and the strange noise. She didn't move, mostly because she was feeling a thick chill in her back, which she felt like suppressing. Her danger sense was going off as she felt something coming to her. She was ready to protect herself- Then the door opened and she saw the new girl coming in. "E-excuse me." Erica simply looked at her and then noticed the figure was nowhere to be around. "<That is odd... maybe that guy Xa'tok from the ship knows better? Maybe I don't go for it just yet...>" She just stayed silent for a moment as the elevator kept the ride. She looked at the girl. She definitively was familiar with the demeanor and look. "Is everything okay?"

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) Erica was surprised by the figure as she looked at the source of the voice. She was not, however, one to scare that easily by the sudden appearance, nope, not at all, definitively not. "Uh... yes... down, please... I am heading to the exit." She simply held onto her fan as the elevator went down. It was technically an iron fan, of those used for monk guards in the temples, if only because she used a broken cutlass to make it out of leather and copper, but she made it specifically for the fashion. She's somewhat trained in self defense, if only because, as a Robattler, she's expected to move the same way as her robot.

    Touch saw this spectacle working and was amazed the result was such. Frimon was happy however. "Yay, we defeated a mega-level Digimon! Yay!" He was leaping around, when he saw Touch walking to Mr. Henderson and Omnimon, a hand in his pocket. "Uh... Touchmon-san?" "Sensei, I think we have something to discuss..." He revealed to the teacher his own device, pulling it out from his pocket. "Three of us already have devices that came in a similar fashion." Frimon came right behind him and leaped into his shoulder. "We may need more lore exposition before going into the next stage." Frimon added... "And while you're at it, you can tell use everything we need to know so we can keep going." ... which technically was the same Touch said. His partner's way of speaking is really confusing him.

    ERICA KATRIANNE SAPPHIRE (RIKA KATORIAN SAHIRA) Erica took a while in redressing herself, as she had to take off all her clothing before redressing. Her red kimono was pretty standard stuff to wear, but it was very... conflictive with her usual outfit. She also combed her hair down. Her goggles were still part of her outfit, though now worn on her neck, and she also added steampunk-styled wood and leather sandals instead of the regular wooden ones, added her own steampunk fan, as one would do, and got out of the room. She decided to take the stairs and see what the rest of the floors were like.
