Counter Deflation

[Normal Trap]

Shuffle all cards on the field with counters on them into the Deck, then each player lose LP equal to 200x the number of counters on the cards they controlled that were shuffled into the Deck. These conditions apply based on the total number of counters on the field.

  • 5 or more: You can activate this card from your hand.
  • 7 or more: Your opponent cannot activate cards or card effects in response to this card's activation.

That's an odd way to write the conditions, PSCT-wise. You may be better off with sentences similar to the conditions that allow Traps to be activated from the hand. I mean something like "If there are 5 or more counters on the field, you can activate this card from your hand. If there are 7 or more counters on the field, your opponent cannot activate...".
Anyway, looks solid enough as a meta call or side deck card against counter-heavy decks, although IDK if it would actually be worth dedicating side deck space to this card instead of other, more flexible side cards that can assist in multiple match-ups. The most promising decks I can think of that involve counters are the recent Endymion Pendulum support, but even then, cards like, for example Typhoon to destroy Pendulum scales, may be more desirable, IDK.

Card effects cannot be activated for the rest of this turn, except for the effects of a monster Special Summoned by this card. You can only activate 1 "Power Creep" per turn.
       
      Spent a while trying to come up with an effect for the image. If you have any more fitting ideas, let me know.
