Nekroz of Phoenix (AKA Ariel's Swan Song's Goin' Global)

First time in singles, gotta go out of my way to put in a card that can really stand out, really show my original spirit, really help bring some underdog Archetype in the TCG to some level of feasili-

WATER/Psychic-Type Ritual Effect Monster/Level 3/1500 ATK/1100 DEF

Lore : You can Ritual Summon this card with any "Nekroz" Ritual Spell. Must be Ritual Summoned. You can only use each of these effects of "Nekroz of Phoenix" once per turn.
● You can discard this card; return 1 of your banished Ritual Spells to the GY, then Special Summon 1 WATER "Nekroz" monster from your hand, ignoring its Summoning conditions.
● If your opponent controls a monster that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck (Quick Effect): You can discard 1 Ritual Spell; apply that discarded card's effect.

Or this, this works too I guess.

So what inspired this newfound addition to the Most Busted Ritual Deck Ever, besides two pounds of cough syrup and Daigusto Phoenix

Simple. A way to actually put out the final hurrah for a Deck that bucked the trend of mediocrity so hard it literally ran the meta for several months. I've always been idly impressed with how they showed that over-reliance on a Spell didn't mean you had to be a sitting duck in the hand. YOU HEAR THAT, WITCHCRAFTERS?

So I took the only Extra Deck Level/Rank 2 Monster from the Duel Terminal, gave it to the only Ritual-less member of the Archetype, and, well, this does a lot to extend a play. Returning up those banished Ritual Spells is a quick way to +2 (considering the discard of this card), Summoning the crew from your hand (that means everyone but Nekroz of Sophia, check the Attribute) and being able to quick-play surprise your opponent with Ritual Spells shows a way to elicit multiple attacks as the Phoenix does.

Besides, Ariel is best girl until we find out if that U.A. Referee is gonna be debuted. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

So for the first time on NCM, I'll close out with my patented catchphrase in full: May the reviews and revelry arrive in abundance for this pixelated treasure. B-D be praised.

Black D'Sceptyr, signing off.

Commenter's words on this matter were very useful in making Phoenix better.

Not too keen on the conflicts with flavor, like Ariel downgrading her Level when usually the Ritual forms have equal or multiplied Levels (except Emilia of course), but I know breaking flavor is a thing you do with your works. Besides, Koomy itself comes with twists on its own archetypes so this Ritual is not as farfetched. However, I do think her on-field effect should be similar to Daigusto Phoenix's, following the template of most Nekroz Rituals, at least as an additional bullet effect.
Drooping Nekroz Rituals from the hand without setting up a Ritual Summon sure seems potent. At least the first effect isn't Quick, and Trishula's effect won't go off since it's not being properly Ritual Summoned.

I don't think the 2nd effect activating a Ritual Spell can work mechanically. Activating Spell/Traps with effects work with Fields and Cont. Spell/Traps because of their Continuous nature, but Ritual Spells behave more like Normal or Quick-Plays in that they activate and then go to GY when they resolve. With the current wording, it's not clear if the activated Ritual Spell would start a new chain, or just get in between the chain where the monster effect is resolving. Thus, I suggest to use a wording like "Urgent Ritual Art" instead, which is more of a copying or substitute effect. That way there are no mechanical conflicts and there is precedence.

Technically, since the original Ariel downgrades her Level as well, it may have some dovetailing in terms of her effect. But I understand. Urgent Ritual Art effect sounds potent, but I question the 1:1ing of original Synchro/Xyz effect to Nekroz effect, since the best Ritual of the bunch - Nekroz of Unicore - has almost no relevance to its original form.

Regarless, changing the effect now. Thanks for the counsel.

Indeed, Nekroz of Unicore's effect has no resemblance to Unicore's, although one could make a case they are related due to their continuous negation effect. Decisive Armor is another Nekroz Ritual that doesn't fully take the effects of the Synchro it's based on. Still, it is of my opinion that card makers should strive to add as much flavor as possible to their creations, as long as it is not too outrageous, and I believe in this card's case a double attacking option would fit nicely.
Actually, now I ponder why you chose Daigusto Phoenix as base in the first place, if you are not going to give it any effect that resembles Phoenix's. For summoning from the hand, I would think DT monsters like X-Saber Wayne are more appropriate. Not to mention the conflict between Ariel's Level4 and Phoenix's Rank2, the fact that it's an Xyz when so far all Ritual forms are based on Synchros (again, except Sophia), and also one of the Nekroz Zefras is based on X-Sabers so one could say there is a link between them. Although I can see how the artwork can be an issue if you go for Wayne.

If a Fairy or Warrior monster made a direct attack this Battle Phase, you can (Quick Effect) reveal this card in your hand: Normal Summon 1 monster OR Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck using monsters from your hand or field as Fusion Material. You can only use this effect of "Cyber Jammer" once per turn.

I hope you weren't expecting a Cyber Dragon card! The Cyber Girls are a group of mostly-EARTH Warrior monsters also originating from Yugioh GX that really never took off the way their successors, the Cyber Angels, eventually would. I felt like making one of my own to at least relate to what most of their effects did as several of the Cyber Girls have effects relating to direct attacks and their boss monster, Cyber Blader, happens to be a Fusion Monster. The Cyber Girls all have something to do with female sports or athletics, so for this one I felt like going with roller derby since I haven't really seen that used as an aesthetic for anything in the game to the best of my knowledge. Enjoy!

If this card is sent from the hand or field to the GY: You can Ritual Summon 1 Non-Effect Ritual Monster from your Deck. This effect of "Angelfood" can only be used once per turn.

The result of some drawing practice I felt like making into a full card. A pretty straightforward effect that's probably significantly more powerful than I imagine it to be. But hey, those dusty Performance of the Swords and Crab Turtles in your box of old cards deserve some love.

Tribute 1 face-up monster on either side of the field: Its controller can Special Summon 1 monster from their hand or Deck with the same Type and Attribute and an ATK or DEF greater than the tributed card. Card effects cannot be activated for the rest of this turn, except for the effects of a monster Special Summoned by this card. You can only activate 1 "Power Creep" per turn.

Spent a while trying to come up with an effect for the image. If you have any more fitting ideas, let me know.
