The site does cost money each month to upkeep. I don't sell any data, nor do I run any ads - any support you can give to help with the upkeep of things would be greatly appreciated.

There is no max goal for this donation, nor and end point. The rough costs for the site are around 40/50 GBP each month give or take 10 either side depending on the month, there are periods at the start of the year where this does increase significantly due to renewals for the domain and SSL certificates that this site runs off.

The site will remain active and online for as long as I can maintain it. I'm not struggling financially (at least as much as some!) and can maintain this regardless.

    • If there was one thing Chris really wanted to do right now, it was stab something in the back. Not that the creatures they were fighting seemed to provide any advantageous reason for doing so -- did they even have organs? -- but because the confluence of things that needed to happen leading up to such a play were such that, if it did happen, they’d have an advantage anyway. He did have his string, though, already unwinding. If he kept moving, and the monsters kept chasing, he could, in fact, get behind them quickly enough to backstab them. Of course, they’d gotten fast on their feet, plus he had to consider how they were smart enough to try to flank him, but now he’d gotten the idea in his head, and it wouldn’t do to just let that go. He could time it right, too, to just keep running in the same direction he’d already been before the teleport, ramming through one of the monsters with the tip of his outstretched sword, but, as predicted, the other one swiveled around and reached out to try and grab him, and Chris had to push back off of the monster he’d stabbed to avoid getting weakened any further. He unwound some string again, but was cognizant enough that they might not fall for the same trick twice. Maybe they’d guard the end of the string, one watching the anchor point while the other one continued the chase. Maybe they’d wait for his stamina -- either mental or physical -- to wear down and catch him in a mistake, or even wait for when he’d overuse the spindle and come stumbling out of a teleport unawares. Either way, surely it bought him some amount of time to return to the giant nightwalker and hopefully get its attention off of Lana, who was busy trying and failing to out-strength a thing that was several times her size. It was a commendable effort, though, and she certainly did much better than Chris ever would have. “Hey! Save some gold for me too!” Chris said as he slashed at the monster’s ankle, before turning around to check on the progress of his own two pursuers.
