Scarlet Team Showdown Scarlet snarled, picking herself up as two more Genesect descended on her. Smashing her fist together, she glared the two machines in the eyes. "Bring it on!" She commanded, dashing towards the two, the crimson Tailwind still tailing behind her. As one of the Genesects took time to change the type of its cannon, the other one fired Magnet Bombs at the Scizor to try and slow her down. However, she did not stop, as she dashed towards the charging Genesect and, with a small leap, delivered an overhead slam with both of her fists. As she did, she was struck by a Techno Blast from the side, the pressure from the watery attack caused her to stumble a bit. However, she stood her ground, turning towards the Genesect that had just attacked her. Her armor seemed to glow as bright red as the trail of wind behind her as she dashed up to the Genesect's face. With a single, Superpowered punch, she sent the Genesect flying backwards, before exploding right next to a distant Genesect. As she delivered her punch, her body started to steam, her body growing tired. However, this was no time to rest, as she turned towards the other Genesect, who fired a flaming Techno Blast right at her chest. She was sent flying back, gritting her teeth in pain, as her wings fluttered as hard as they could. Barely, she managed to land on her feet, sliding across the ground a bit. She breathed heavily, before darting right back in. While she managed to dodge most of the Magnet Bombs being sent to her, some of them landed, but that wasn't going to stop her. She promised Taiga she wasn't going to die here, and she'll be damned if she didn't keep her promise. Triumphantly, she grabbed the Genesect by the arms with two Bug Bites and aggressively dragged it across the ground towards the platform. When it was started to heat up, she let go, not looking back at the spectacular explosion it made. It took her a while to get to the platform, but eventually she made it there. Her body at this point was beaten up and radiating smoke from fighting the Genesect on her way here as she collapsed on the metal platform. In her hands was the arm of one of the Genesects, violently ripped from the body. She glanced upwards, taking a second to find Taiga. Eventually she did find the Sharpedo, weakly smiling as she raised her free hand towards her friend. "Told... told ya... I'd make it..." Lok Team Karaoke With the ominous wind still circling around him, Lok kept running. He wasn't very eager to fight another one of those robot things, although he knew he couldn't avoid them forever. Just as he expected, one of the Genesects landed right in front of him, causing him to stop. "Great... ok, you did this once... you can do it again." He muttered under his breath, firing off a Will-o-Wisp towards the Genesect. The robot sidestepped the attack, its gun shifting like the previous one had. Lighting crackled at his fingertips as he fired off a Thunderbolt towards the Genesect, hitting it on its shoulder as it fired off a ghastly Techno Blast which sent Lok flying backwards. Floating above the ground, he managed to catch himself, watching as the robot fired off a Magnet Bomb towards him. Panicking, he let out an Ominous Wind, which seemed to at least knock some of the metallic shells aside. This time the winds didn't seem to do anything other than that, but Lok didn't notice. He was occupied with something else. The Genesect was getting ready to fire off another Techno Blast, when suddenly it was knocked to the side by a stray explosion. Lok wasn't sure where this came from, but it didn't matter. He fired off a Will-o-Wisp towards the Genesect, this time hitting its mark. The Genesect, once it stabilized again, fired off a Magnet Bomb towards Lok, as Lok fired off a Hex towards it. Some of the projectiles clashed with each other and fizzled, while others managed to hit their opponents. Lok stumbled back, before letting out a Thunderbolt at the Genesect, who was now dashing towards him. The robot was extremely beat up, Lok was able to see that as it barreled towards him. Realizing what the Genesect was trying to do, he pushed it away with one last Ominous Wind as it Self-Destructed. While not completely dodging the attack, he was on the outskirts of the explosion. Wiping his brow, he continued onward. At this point, he had made it half way towards the platform. However, he saw the waves of Genesects that were close to his destination, and he frowned. There was no way he was going to make it without fighting at least two more of these things, and he wasn't even sure if he could take on another one. "Great... now what..." He said, placing his hand on his face as he thought about what to do. On the ground he saw shrapnel from the exploding Genesects that surrounded him and an idea came to his head. "Well, you did this once before... kinda... and not really in a battlefield like this, but I mean hey it's basically the same thing, right? Haha..." He tried to convince himself, picking up a piece of metal on the ground. He wasn't confident in his chances at all, but he had to try. Even if it was risky, this had a better chance of working than fighting on the horde of robots. With a sigh, he held the piece of metal with both of his hands, electricity and howling winds circling his arms. It wasn't long before the piece of metal was now being held by the lightning itself, as he aimed his body towards the platform. "I hope this works...!" He said, counting down to 5 in his head as the lightning circled faster and faster. As he clenched his fist, the metal suddenly shot forward as lighting shot out of his arms. Before it went too far, however, Lok used his ability to posses objects to enter the now flying piece of metal as it soared through the air. Lok screamed as his vessel violently flew above the battlefield. Those on the platform would see a flying piece of metal barely land on the edge of it as a Rotom shot out of it, tumbling on the cold metal ground. As he crashed, the ominous winds around him erupted from his body as he let out a grumble. His body was aching, both from fighting the Genesect and from the crash landing he just did. He took a moment to lay on the ground, not because he wanted to rest but because he couldn't bring his legs to pick himself up. "At least I made it..." He muttered, groaning as he clutched his right arm.

Brooke let her cloak of flames dissipate as she came to a stop beside Easter. “Hmm… Forty-one… That’s a lot,” she said, then grinned. “You know what’s more than forty-one though? Sixty. Looks like ya finally lost at somethin’ Easter.” Not that it was a fair competition. It was impressive that he was able to down forty-one creatures he was barely effective against, but he didn’t need her to tell him that. The Emboar glanced over at where Easter was gesturing. “Huh? No, Dora should still be back on the ship. Why would she…” Brooke trailed off when she saw her. A very familiar looking Quagsire; still looking very, very young in comparison to the rest of the people fighting, but taller and older than Dora had been just a few hours ago. “Dora? Dora! What are you doing here?” She rushed over to the Quagsire. The little girl (could she really still call her little?) was almost as tall as her now, which was somewhat disconcerting. “You need to get back to the boat.” Her head suddenly hurt. There was an army of Gijinka between Dora and the boat now, and she obviously didn’t have the time to escort her. How had she even made it this far? Damn it, damn it, damn it!

Not 100% sure I follow, but what I think you’re suggesting is playing a human without a partner digimon? Or perhaps the opposite? either way, my answer is: Go for it! The Divers are not be the first humans to enter the digital plane, so if you’re ok with playing a supporting character who might not participate in combat, then I have no objections. I’m interested to see what you can come up with. If the discord link is expired, lmk. I’ll send you another one.

Elizabeth nodded, "Sounds like a good enough plan to me." she took another drag from her cigarette, "Although I won't imagine it will be any less eventful. Say, do you think this means exams are cancelled this morning?" Elizabeth was largely quiet on the walk; stress had a strange effect on Elizabeth. When you live under such a thick blanket of stress as a normal function, particularly stressful situations almost seem to have less of an effect than every day life. At least, that was how she felt. In a way, she was disassociated so far away from what she considered the be the core of her person that anything pushing her even further away felt like it had brought her closer in reality, like maybe breaking through the glass ceiling of stress would actually bring her to the floor she fell through when her life fell apart. Hmph. I should write that one down. She thought to herself. She occasionally looked over to Yushiro, only to meet the harsh stare of a duel monster that had seemingly quickly endeared itself to Yushiro. Some mixture of relief, doubt, and guilt continued to wash its way over her. It would be hard to explain exactly why she felt this way, but she knew that for one reason or another, she felt that she was bringing Yushiro trouble, even if he didn't know it yet. Perhaps it was selfish to think of only her problems in the midst of a campus-wide meltdown, but it was how she felt regardless. Her thought process was quickly snapped by the sight of the monsters congregating around the Duel Hall. She groaned, even more so when Yushiro levied the responsibility for finding a solution unto her. "Alright, hold on. Let me think. It looks to me like they're mostly just in front of the entrance. Maybe there is another way we can approach this..." she quickly produced her cellphone and began calling the one person she knew would most certainly be in the building that connected the Duel Hall to the Student Offices: "Oh my god Beth, so glad to hear you're okay. My phone has been flooded with security alerts. What the hell is going on out there?" Ashley didn't even sound all that panicked, honestly. That was so like her; she viewed everything as a 'situation' with solutions and variables, rather than something that had consequences attached to it. It was almost exciting to Ashley to have an issue as large as this one, so long as nobody was killed. "Never mind all that Ash. Can you open up the annex halls? I need to get to the Duel Hall and it is covered from top to bottom in monsters. Meet me there in 3 minutes?" Elizabeth waved Yushiro to their left, ushering them both towards a much smaller building built into the curve of a hill. The annex was really nothing more than a few dumpy offices that some clubs or presenters rented out for their events a few times a year for cheap, but its main draw was that it connected two of the larger buildings on campus. "Once we're in here, we should be able to cut through a couple of halls and get to the duel team office. Say, what is your plan, anyway?

Randy continued to fight his way through the Genesect horde, definitely doing quite a bit of damage to the numbers...at least he thought he was. However, the sheer numbers began to be a bit too much for the Incineroar. He found one tackle him and knocked him to the ground...the carelessness was definitely there on his side. "Grrrrrr...GET THE HELL OFF ME, RUST-BUCKET!!!" he roared, doing his best to knock the thing off him...however, someone else stepped in to help. In one fell swoop, the Genesect was grabbed, yanked and tossed via a Circle Throw by a familiar ally to Randy: the Poliwrath from Northshore. "Heh...you know I had that under control, right?" Randy rolled his eyes, smirking at the Poliwrath. "Maybe you did maybe you didn't it doesn't matter. I see someone I can toss and I toss em!" He said with a flex. "Heh, fair enough I suppose." Randy rolled his shoulders some, cracking his knuckles a bit as well as dusting himself off. "Been keeping count?" "Tossed about thirty, I, don't really know where they ended up after that...But I'm sure it's fine!" He gave a laugh. "Thirty? Heh, not bad...I've had about...twenty-nine on my end." the Incineroar said, launching a Fire Blast at a small group of charging Genesect. "Not surprising with those flames there." He said, then crouched down and, putting his hands down, gathered up energy before launching a Focus Blast to follow up. The combination between the Fire Blast and Focus Blast was quite an interesting one, as it knocked the Genesect for a loop. "Focus Blast? Heh, just full of surprises aren't ya?" Randy laughed, although fighting for his life, he was enjoying himself. "Can't just work out one muscle." He grunted and was hit by a blast from another Genesect. Which caused him to stumble back. "Damn things hit hard." He muttered. Then, continuing his former statement. "But it's nice to have a specialty too!" He then ran towards the Genesect right before it fired again, grabbed it, and spinning in a circle, threw it somewhere off into the distance. He looked proud though it was clear he was starting to slow down a bit. "Hey..." Randy said, definitely noticing. He was about to say something, but gave the Poliwrath another look, before shaking his head and smiling. ...I'd probably get reprimanded for telling him what I was going to...best not to say that... he thought. "...keep kicking their metal asses, sir." "Of course, that's what I'm here for! All that training is paying off!" He nodded. Then, with a frown, looked back at Randy. "If anyone can break through to that...lift or whatever contraption they talked about, it's you. Don't wait up for me I'm better suited for knocking around these things here!" The Incineroar looked at the Poliwrath, before shaking his head with a slight sigh. "...you really do remind me of him...right down to that." he chuckled, moving towards the gijinka before holding a fist towards him. "If that's the case...I guess, this is good-bye then. Thanks...for everything." The Poliwrath laughed heartily, bumping fists with Randy. "Ah, don't go getting sappy like we won't see each other when this is over. I think after all this I might be able to give you the Advanced course!" "Heh, well I'll be looking forward to that!" Randy laughed, nodding at the Poliwrath. "Well, give em hell out here. Leave the tower to me..." With that, Randy left the Poliwrath and headed towards the tower, knocking through and fighting his way against the Genesects yet again. He could see the other gijinka he knew fighting their hardest as well...the Tyranitar...Eve...and even Trevor. However one caught his eye, a Pupitar gijinka who was definitely holding his own against the Genesect...and one technique of his definitely reminded him of his Darkest Lariat...almost down to the movements. Hehe...now that guy seems like one interesting brah...heh... he thought, now steeling his resolve to keep going forward towards the tower. Eventually Randy made it...appearing he made it just after Marie, to which he chuckled. "Well...guess you guys got here faster than I did...hehe, nice going." he said with a smile, whilst trying to catch his breath some. "Alright...I'm good now."
