College is out for the whole week because of the virus, and was out last week too. Big speculaiton that it might get cancelled for a whole month because of T-virus.
Also, black survival eternal return's 5th alpha started, which is awesome, and one step from eden, a roguelike mmbn clone with like 10 classes and 400 chips, is coming out in two days, so im pretty excited.

It was my birthday 2 days ago (6 aug), renovations ended and me and nour got actual good usable computers, really good computers actually, for me I went from barely running risk of rain 2 at minimum settings to running it 120 fps np at max, sekiro from ~10 fps min settings to 60 max, nioh works perfect at max, etc. Nour's is a really big deal though, since she couldn't run 90% of 3D games in the last like 5 years, even things like fate extella on min settings or dark souls 1 wouldn't work at all, not even at 1 fps, she has years of catchup to do.
Anyone got any recs? I have a big pile of vidya that I have already but more is better.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1063580/Aeons_End/
Aeon's end is a pretty cool board game/card game. Basically, the game's theme is that you control 1-4 mages(or your friends can control some) to lower the enemy nemesis's HP down to 0 before either all your mages or Gravehold, your home, is destroyed. The game's mechanics are pretty unique in that you don't shuffle the deck ever, after you play all cards in your deck, the discard pile is flipped over and becomes the new deck, it's not random. Also, you use the mana you get from playing mana-granting cards to add cards from supply piles(which you set at the start of the game) to your discard pile, which can be new gems which give more mana than starting cards, relics which do stuff, and spells which are cast for free at the cost of occupying a breach slot for a turn(which can be opened for mana). It's pretty unique, I like it and so far I beat 2/4 of the bosses, carapace queen and rageborne.

I once met a lass so fine.
She was drunk on barley wine.
I'd been to sea,
for months a-three.
I knew I could make her mine.
And the lass was past consent,
So it was off with her we went.
And we threw her in bed
and rested her head
And we left, 'cause that's what gentlemen do.

I dont know if it's maid dragon or kemono friends or what started the trend, but there's so many awesome novelty or comedy anime out now, like interspecies reviewers, murenase, bofuri, slime isekai, and more, and I love it.

Well, I basically beat granblue fantasy, this is the hardest content in it, by a very big margin, and it's cleared.

I only just realized I haven't posted a drawing to my twitter in a month just while learning how to draw decently. My one follower, @Sleepy is probably panicking.
I only made this that I'd like to show anyway and it's bad: http://i65.tinypic.com/2nbwnqc.png

I am super extremely backlogged on the games I have, like, I still have pkmn UM, vc 4, nier automata, atelier ryza, rune factory 4, xenoblade chronicles X, the caligula effect overdose, AI the somnium files, catherine, SMT4 to beat, with dq builders 2 and bug fable on the horizon. Especially since I don't like to leave a game without beating its dlc/bonus/secret boss or just mastering it basically. It almost makes me want to just play some pick up and go game like granblue or something and forget it.
Also I won't even mention that one game with the family estate on the island. With the witches. And the massacre. You know the one. -

Bernie Sanders has a twitch account and is set to livestream now... memes abound.

By the way, if any of y'all want to try granblue or have an interest in it at all, today is the best time to join, until the end of march. Basically, for 1 month and 8 days all quests are half off, give double rewards, and more exp. Also, every day you get a free draw, and from 10th of march every day you roll a roulette to get from 10 to 200 free rolls, then play rock paper scissors to double it if you win. Also it gives so many Half Elixirs(Stamina restore item like FGO apples or AL Oil) that you can basically play for maybe half a year without running out of stamina, and that's if you don't get more half elixirs in that half year. It's really good!

Cadence of Hyrule is the best idea, it's basically a legend of zelda game with crypt of the necrodancer's gameplay style, you move to the beat and enemies move when you do. Dungeons are procedurally generated, but the overworld is semi-procedurally generated, and it's a real big game instead of going from floor to floor like necrodancer.
Also the sprites are really good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKDORspwSgY

Code vein is more popular on steam than dark souls ever was, apparantely. Like, I knew the game was going to kick off because it's mixing the steam-super-favorite dark souls with the anime aesthetic/bandai character creator everyone likes, but I didn't expect this much hype.

Crystar is coming out on PC and PS4 in the west later this year. It's a game by a certain developer that you'll probably instantly recognize with just this image:

Also seriously, this game's class system is awesome, like I can legit describe the job advancements for the male gunner as choosing between being "Featuring dante from the devil may cry series", "A localized gundam, but actually has even more guns than one", "A localized Red Alert 2 War Factory" and "Squall from FF if he was dual-wielding magic gunblades"

Epic Games has bought the developer of Rocket League, and will soon stop selling the game on steam(but will still update it and keep it available to play through steam of course).
Man, I can't think of any other way to crater probably the game with the most goodwill in years, like legit the game is almost a gaming darling.

Granblue has some bangin' music, so here's another one I really like, even if it's sorta goofy (Parade's Lust)

Honestly Puyo Puyo Tetris > Tetris DS > Tetris 99 > Tetris Friends
You can @ me any time. Puyo Puyo Tetris's combination of both of the puzzle games is one of the most unique tetris experiences ever, Tetris DS had a ton of bonus game modes which were fun, Tetris 99 is super exciting, and Tetris friends is tetris 99 for poorfags
Also puyo puyo had the best and most hype Korobeiniki remix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lw3LQlQnuHA

I beat all of Danganronpa except the weird shooter game and the anime, here's what I liked and didn't like about it/what I think of it all: https://neocardmaker.com/forum/index.php?/topic/656-danganronpa-12v3-retrospective-marked-spoilers-but-still/

I don't think I've seen a game go from extremely loved/considered a masterpiece to extremely cynically looked back on/disliked faster than KH3 since like, Heavy rain in 2010, maybe. Even then, KH3 is like a 2 week-old game but it took a while for Heavy Rain's whole "the new age of vidya storytelling" hype to fade away.
What went wrong?
-
I haven't gotten it yet but I'm sure it never would've lived up to the hype. However, is that from a community standpoint or from critics as well? Because I thought the reviews and stuff were good?
I tend not to look to the general internet to see their opinions on stuff because it's a terrible idea.
