We should have an NCM bar brawl where NCM members meet up and beat the shit out of each other. This is a perfectly good idea and is very entertaining.

So Praey for the Gods, the Shadow of the Colossus inspired game, has basically exactly BOTW's mechanics. There's a glider sail and you can climb anything and the sprint/grip is represented by a circle next to your character and there's weapon degradation and tons of random collectible not-heart-containers because colossi will almost always instagib you if you're caught off guard and you can craft and upgrade your stuff, and so on.

In chapters 1-4 of danganronpa V3, Despair Searching plays because of the despair of finding the murderer.
In chapter 5 of danganronpa V3, Hope Searching plays because of the hope that they're okay.

I beat all of Danganronpa except the weird shooter game and the anime, here's what I liked and didn't like about it/what I think of it all: https://neocardmaker.com/forum/index.php?/topic/656-danganronpa-12v3-retrospective-marked-spoilers-but-still/

So I just beat danganronpa V3(I'm at the final cutscene, actually), and I had famously heard it had a bad ending and thought it was just people not surviving or the survivors being unlikable or there are no survivors or something but yikes. Like, legit it subverted my expectation for how bad it was even harder than any class trial, for real, it's the worst. I will probably post a danganronpa retrospective or something of the sort later.

I said yesterday that wargroove, DMFD, and sunless skies were out, but apparantely I forgot that Praey for the Gods is also out in early access, it's a shadow of the colossus clone that takes place in norse mythology. Also, Metal Slug XX(the newest one) is out on steam, but is apparantely very badly received.
-
So today comes out Wargroove, Dragon Marked for Death, and Sunless Skies, get super hype. Out of all those if you had to buy just one, I'd say wargroove bc advance wars deserves saving, but DMFD is made by the people who made Megaman Zero ,Megaman ZX and Bloodstained Curse of the Moon(the NES spinoff) so they deserve your support too, and Sunless Skies just has the best eldritch-y writing, it's like reading out of neo-lovecraft book in full authenticity, none of that "ooh the enemies have tentacles isn't that terrifying lovecrafty XD".

I think I'm done with Siralim 3, or won't play it as often, I beat all the super-duper-ultra bosses 6 times(which you need to do to unlock being able to use a weaker version of them), and I don't feel like fighting all the extra, weaker bosses or doing any of the stupid achievements like play for 1000 hours or battle in 1000 tavern brawls or reach fame rank 100 or etc, and I already have a functionally-invincible team comp(my team prevents enemies from casting spells and takes ~99.9997% reduced damage from all other sources). I had a lot of fun creating a lot of team comps and archetypes and stuff, really great game. Jumbo elephant just sucked to fight tho, starting the fight with 2000% all stats is just bullocks. https://i.imgur.com/wHjrZE8.png

Do the math, my team have(multiplicatively):
Spoiler
90% reduced damage from surathli50% reduced damage from bulwark
30% reduced damage from jailbreak
25% reduced damage from chaos guard
65% reduced damage from damage control
30% reduced damage from sloth
~30-50% reduced damage from siren soothsayer
50% reduced damage from ruby paragon
50% reduced damage from topaz paragon
95% reduced damage from drifting shade
90% reduced damage from a rune
50% reduced damage from wormrot
25% chance to negate all damage from a rune
50% reduced damage from protect
35% chance to negate all damage from perks
25% chance to negate lethal damage from perks(it doesn't count, but still)
30% reduced damage from their helmets
~40% reduced damage from their helmets.
It's BASICALLY invincibility, only enemies that are 5000x your level will even scratch you.

But how does it win, you might ask, or you probably won't considering I have probably literally never gotten a reply to my siralim status updates except by rewas mocking me.
Spoiler
Spell gem of Mutilate: Deal damage to a random enemy equal to 100% of its maximum HP, before reductions. This spell cannot be cast manually, but has a 15% chance to cast when its owner takes damage. Equipped to all my creatures.Spell gem of Guardian Force: Your creatures defend. Equipped to all my creatures
Omnicolor Salamander: Traits:
Hotspur: At the start of battle, your creatures have a 35% chance each to cast a random spell they have.Simulation: When your creatures cast a spell as a result of a salamander trait, they cast a random different one of their spells. This trait does not stack.
Wallflower: When your creatures defend or provoke, they cast one of their spells at random. This trait does not stack.
Limitless: When your creatures cast a spell, they have a 50% chance to cast it again. This trait does not stack.
So at the start of battle, Hotspur activates, making a random friendly creature cast either Mutilate or Guardian Force, then Simulation makes them cast the one that didn't activate. An enemy takes damage and all my creatures defend. Wallflower activates, and my creatures cast either guardian force or mutilate, and simulation makes them cast the other spell, they all defend, an enemy takes damage, and so on until you reach the maximum number of spells castable in one turn or the enemies are all dead.

So, I knew everyone knew I was going to like the designs in Girls frontline and Azur lane because you know, cute anime girls doing cute anime things, but I think this is one of my favorite designs in the two games, along with Sopmod and Negev(frontline): https://i.imgur.com/nFMZ1MN.png

Im going to an anime convention the friday after the next(I think) on nour's request, anyone have any idea of what they're like?
@Sophia @Mitcher Green-
They're fun.
Lot of people watching to do and it's cool to see all the different cosplays. Panels vary, some are cool and some are whatever. I don't usually go to that many, but they'll give you a full schedule so you can see and plan out which ones sound interesting.
Art alleys and the merch room are where it's at because you see a bunch of cool shit. Just be mindful of expenses, they can add up.
-
They're great. Fusion nailed it, but in addition try and see if there are anybody big you'd want to meet, like a voice actor doing a signing session (the line would be long obviously), or maybe some hosting a panel or something. Also see what sort of music groups will be there, there's usually an awesome concert at the cons I go to (last one I went to had fhána and that concert was amazing).
And if you're into that sort of thing, maybe check out any game tournaments. I enjoy Smash Bros. and that's always popular, plus the game rooms themselves sometimes have cool stuff I've never seen before.
Of course, any of this depends on the size of the con you're going to. The one I go to every year, Acen, is the 6th largest in NA, so obviously there's tons at that one.
