My reference point was masterpieces which are a lot more common, something like 5x more, but have way higher actual play value. I get collector's value doesn't always come from actual play value, but I just can't wrap my mind around who would want this outside of uber collectors.

I get that it's a collectors item. But even as collectors items that price seems insanely high. MTG has those kind of cards too and none of them are near what this is going for and even if the supply there is higher they are also highly used cards.

Looks like the normal. From what I've learned it is super rare, but like, the card looks like trash so I do not understand why it is worth so much, regardless how rare it is, if it has next to zero play value.

She's the leading lady for a new anime. She is VERY busty. Whenever I look at her all I see is Rizu Ogata from We Never Learn. Cut from the same cloth.

I'm just happy Mimikyu is loved. I am curious what the total results were but I doubt they'll release those numbers. 

The zords in Ryusoul have a lego styling in how they all snap together. It is pretty cool. That said the season was rough so I'm curious how PR is going to handle it. Ninnin wasn't good and PR's take was somehow even worse so I'm not holding my breath. 

I have no idea how someone could have the patience to make a shiny living dex. 

Yea, when I was working I was going to bed at reasonable hours. Now I'm more or less on Cow's sleeping schedule.

Yea, that feels like a Walmart thing. Price drops are normally a result of poor sales and SwSh has sold gangbusters. 

Its been 2 month since release, but the data I was talking about was for December 31st, 2019. They've sold 16.06 million copies as of the end of last year.

I'm comparing the price point from Bank which was $5. I was expecting it to be more, but I was hoping $10. And yes free version can store 30 Pokemon, trade 1 Pokemon over GTS at a time, and 3 wonder trades at a time. Premium is 6000 Pokemon, 3 GTS trades, 10 Wonder Trades, and an IV checker. One Premium account is needed for both phone and Switch. Bank will have a 1 month free special so people can move stuff without paying for both. 

I think its close. I've gotten a ton of fun out of it, but the main game is relatively short and if you aren't interested in breeding/filling the dex or just farming raids the game doesn't have a TON of stuff to do after you beat it.  You should be able to find it somewhere cheaper though since while rare deals do pop up here and there.

The Nyx lands are SUPER divisive I've seen. I personally think they are really cool.

You can easily argue Pokemon has way more characters than FE. It has 2 additional counting Pokemon trainer as 3 characters and 2 of the Fire Emblem characters are just echoes of other Fire Emblem characters with a 3rd being pretty similar too. Pokemon only has 1 pseudo-echo in its total. 

If they can give us Halo that can give us Banjo and by extension Rare Replay.

Yea, I was also confused what the price point was too.

I honestly couldn't remember if Gen 3 introduced version locked forms.  

I think it is much too early to try and talk about if the $30 price point is worth it. We have no idea how much content is actually in them. And I am very curious how the level balance is going to be handled since this is a post-game area and it is really easy to get your Pokemon to level 100 thanks to the overflowing EXP Candies. 

Your comment about using the Pokemon in game would hold even if the DLC was free since its Post-Game. If I wanted to use Rockruff on my team I just can't until its in the main game for a new game still. 

I am in full agreement removing the GTS is very dumb.

Eh. I differently got $60 worth from just the main game and I haven't even started breeding. I was just as upset as anyone with Dexit (I literally spent over 1000 hours making an in-depth living dex) but if you're just talking about number of Pokemon in the main game 400 is perfectly reasonable.

The biggest difference is the GTS made getting the Pokemon really easy and even if you wanted to trade with someone online you need Switch Online. I get the frustration for that. I'm curious how much Home is going to cost. $5 is so cheap and if Home is similarly priced it isn't much of an issue imo.

This was true in Gen 6 when over 200 Pokemon needed Bank to get into XY.
